SO then the QB,lineman thing just went out the window

Not at all again if you read since Lurie owned the team we have had six picks in the top 10 all SIX of those picks have been either linemen or QBs.

Chiefs released both of there OTs... Of reports are true we looking for move Dillard think that is a spot.

Honestly lot of reports swirling around the Eagles OL Brooks has been reported to be on the block as well.

I will say it is unlikely but would we consider trading Lane for the right price(presumably a 1st rounder) 31 dealing with injuries. Good position to take a new OT in the draft. Have Mailata/Dillard as well.

Cool, let's trade everybody. That way we can just draft "Alabama" (the whole team)

I love your overreactions to everything lmao hilarious

Welp, we're trading Lane and Ertz and about everyone else that's is worth $3.95, so it's not an overreaction

Maybe we can get a 7th for the Gatorade guy

I would be fine drafting Lane's BU and I think we would be smart do to it

I don't know how this compares to previous years, but I can justify drafting about 20 different guys, either by trading up, trading back or sitting at 6. I don't remember previous years being this all over the place.

yeah I agree, not so cut and dried and Howie couldn't do it when it was easy ,so this should be "interesting"

I think can make a case for that ball park in most drafts. The Eagles can really draft just about any position though this year and justify it.

Howie will take a Kicker at 6 and a punter at 37

On my mock I have Brendan Jaimes at 224. he is the ROT for Nebraska. I think taking him as letting him sit behind lane would be a smart move. he has high upside, just needs more experience so at 224 I would pick him up. DOn;t need him right away, but never hurts to get other people in here

The Chiefs are releasing left tackle Eric Fisher and right tackle Mitchell Schwartz, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Don't give him any ideas.

I don't need to because mine would be better, so would anyones

Some more expected at Trey Lance's Pro Day ...
• Broncos GM George Paton • Washington OC Scott Turner • Panthers OC Joe Brady
• Eagles OC Shane Steichen • Eagles QBs coach Brian Johnson
• Saints QBs coach Ronald Curry Who teams send matters this year—only allowed 3 each.

Only allowed 3 each? Please explain, been out of the loop

Teams can only go to 3 pro days?

My guess would be only to send 3 people to pro days not quite sure though

"Clubs will be limited to three reps at any pro day and are also not allowed to attend any combine-type events or similar workout sessions that are not affiliated with the NFL. All attendees are required to wear PPE and practice social distancing.”

Also a little familiarity with chemistry there on KC's OL with Wisniewksi.

LOL not that it means much

That number is more like $7 million, since after the second round, draft picks only make $900k, and they are simply bumping someone else off the 53 who makes an equivalent amount.

As far as the salary cap in general, they have to clear around $18 million to get cap compliant, and they still have Lane, Graham, Cox, Barnett and Goodwin on the books for their full amounts, so there is the possibility of a lot of wiggle room. If they trade Ertz, with the Jackson and Jeffery releases they will have $26 million, a number that could rise to $46 million if they do full restructures/extensions on the above players.

I would think they want to keep some cash to extend Mailata and Goedert. But I would expect them to add a few free agents in the $5 million range, especially since they have no real comp pick concerns this year. I am thinking a qb, corner, LB and safety. WR is a possibility, but if they draft a guy at 6, I don't see much of a reason to bring in a free agent.

The Jackson and Jeffrey releases don't hit the books until after June 1, the assumption is that most free agents will have found a home by then. That number post June will probably be used for carryover into 2022.  Or like you said,  extensions for Goedert and Mailata, if they can get them to avoid the open market.

Well, they needed to do something after the Bucs were in the KC backfield for the entire SB

I think the optimistic point of view is....we could pull out a few wins early. Then the young players kick in at the end of the season to finish on a hot streak ....winning the final three...four games....win the division. Going into the playoffs with a young rebuilt team that’s hot ....with a home playoff game.

I've read somewhere that no team has improved their record by more than 2 games with over 20 mil dead cap to deal with. Eagles have a bunch more than that to deal with and you all are talking 8,9, 10 wins? That is some wishful thinking! Brooks, Johnson, Kelce, Graham, Cox, Curry, Jackson, McLeod and Slay are all a year older and over 30. Yet you all feel they will be healthy this year? WE have a rookie QB and no one knows what he will do. We have no proven WR, so where do you get the confidence they will be solid? Sanders is our only solid RB, but is injury prone. OK so how exactly do you think this team will improve by more than 1 game, let alone 4-6? Home Play-off game? WOW!

Yeah, but this is year 3 and the gatorade guy should break out. Seriously though,if A guy like Pitts can transition fast,he could help us win some(see JJ). I think 7 wins would be a goal for me

https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/results    OK look at the scores and how many we COULD have won. Some very close losses and thats with the crap team/ suck QB we had

I'll be surprised if they get more than 6 wins. Of course i haven't seen the schedule yet.
