Our failure IMO is not at QB, it's keeping a surrounding cast which has been deteriorating ever since the SB win. Noone wants to play here because there is no supporting cast for a QB

Here another one of the 14 playoff teams 10 of them had QBs drafted in the first round. 
 

Can even make the case Washington was led by a former first rounder though he didn’t end up starting come the playoffs for injury. 

So I will ask again(3rd time) you take a QB at 6 and Hurts wins the start job, what do you do now?

Yep,we aren't going to the SB this year,as sad as that sounds to you, so this is the year to make the TEAM better. Hurts is "expendable" if it comes to that. Upgrade the team,get a supporting cast,let them play together a year,then we are in a position where a QB WANTS to play here. Maybe Wilson would come here in 2022,if not I take my round 1 QB then

Next year we would have something called CAP SPACE to actually go out  and woo a QB here? We can't do that this year even if we wanted to,so yeah I bite the bullet this year. I'm not tossing another rook in to  fail with this lame team. Let Hurts take his licks, he could do well or flop, we have no clue after 3 games.At least he was a round 2 that failed not a round 1

But I agree we got cap space next year get your QB NOW!!!! Then use that cap space and draft capital in 22 to build the rest of the roster

Well we have differing ideas how to build a team. I'm not going to set up a rook QB to fail,we already have that QB here. I also SAID if a guy like Wilson says NO,then I get my round 1 QB because we would obviously be in the top 10 again next year if Hurts sucks that bad. If I recall when we bet the farm on Wentz we had a fairly solid team for him,right now we are not close to the 2016 team

Pitts is a TE and WR both. He would easily be a top 5-6 WR even if he was only a WR. You want value? How about 2 round 1 guys with 1 pick???
