How do they fit $10m under the cap?

By my math we are compliant with the Graham and Elliot restructures, so he fits.

So mills signing with Ne I’m going to be interested in his play see if he improves like so many guys have once they got out of Schwartz scheme.

I am wondering if he plays slot CB or safety. I think he fits better as a slot. I also think Wallace will be a good fit here in the same spot. In a two deep safety scheme, you need a bigger slot corner to help out in the run game, which fits both Mills and Wallace. Elijah Riley also fits that mold, so he would be a good backup for Wallace, and Maddox can move to safety.

On an unrelated note, Ford getting $2 million a year from the Jags is crazy, but good for him.

I think we will see Mills moved around honestly expect to see him as a S but wouldn’t shock me to see them bring him down in the slot. Similar to how we used Jenkins and seemed like we wanted to do with Mills.

One of the first games Mills was being used in a variety roles was against NE so sure Bill has an idea of what he wants

I’m little disappointed we didn’t get to keep Mills i thought he played well as a S and was only going to get better with more time playing the position.

Not sure if he would have exactly fit with the new coaches though. Oh well just going to suck if we see him flourish in NE especially if he is being used in a similar way that we started him with

IDK now I have to look at the 37 pick as either Newsome at CB or now Moherig at S, although I doubt Moe makes it out of round 1

Huge move by the Chiefs to swing Thuney.

CJ Mosley would be a huge addition. Only a six mil cap hit this season. Price might be fairly steep though in draft picks.

I’d rather us sign a guy like Walker Jr. former Colt knows Gannons system and was a tackling machine for them. Think him along with Malik Hooker could be really underrated cheap signings for us

Both guys could also be part of the long term future as well only like 24-25

I really don't get the love for Walker. He is bad in coverage (opposing qbs had a rating of over 100 when throwing against him in each of the last three seasons), isn't great against the run and there's absolutely no upside (he is what he is at this point).

The fact that the Colts have tons of cash and don't want this guy back should be an indication of what they think of him, and I tend to agree. If we are going to bench Edwards or Singleton, they have to find someone who is actually better than they are, and nothing in Walker's resume or body of work makes me think he is.

If I am going to spend the little cap we have,I like 93's suggestion that we pick up Hooker and Mack, that would open the door for a CB at 37(I will still take a late flier S)

Agholor to the Pats for $13 million per year.

Smoot stays with the Jags for $7 million per year. His stats last year were almost the same as Barnett's. The Eagles would be crazy to overpay Barnett.

I’d that is the case the same can be made for Edwards who is a limited two down LB. honestly again think Walker comes cheap knows the system and doesn’t have to be handed a job to start can compete. Really our LB are terrible Singleton is avg. but he is what he is also what 27-28 he isn’t going to become much more then what he is now.

But considering how we likely won’t draft a guy high or spend big on a LB I’ll take a guy that should compete and knows the system at this point.

In a perfect world Taylor and Bradley would take massive strides in year two.

IMO Barnett is not worth 10 million. I would rather sign Clowney for 7-8 mil

" She ain't worth ten million... maybe five "      Rodney!

SB winning coach(LMAO) we got LUCKY and everyone knows it. he was SOOOO OUTSTANDING as a SUPER BOWL coach teams lined up to give him a HC job(where????) SO Joe the building is on fire and you just walk away and give up? If enough throw their glass of water on it,maybe the fire goes out? The MVP candidate didn't want to play here and his play showed me that all last year and "the man" has never won a Superbowl he played in. I won't be upset if we don't get Pitts, I will be DISAPPOINTED. If we take a top WR,oh well.If we take a QB at 6,I will sell off my gear because I am DONE with stupidity

Every year you want to sell your gear....does anyone ever offer to buy it?

Avery is another guy to watch. He was out of position at DE, but may be really good as a mike in a two high safety system, which puts a lot of pressure on LBs being able to stop the run without safety help.

If you look at the Colts system, it puts a huge premium on LBs who can play zone and who can attack the run game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Edwards, Avery, Singleton and Bradley do really well in this system.

Put it out there, see what kind of offers you get. I'm curious what people would spend for stuff already owned.

My Carmichael jersey goes for around 75 bucks (still in a box in my garage somewhere)

You would think with this we would value the Lb position a bit more. Hell can he look at TB and the impact there LBs had in the SB. But sadly we will probably keep scraping the bottom of the barrel for guys

Clowney 7-8 per year I would think, 10 for Barnett is way too high. That's a sweet pick up for the Raiders

We can HOPE that somehow Howie decides to listen to "football guys". I won't hold my breath

With how meh Clowney was last  year I’d try and sign him cheaper(not say us but a team)Only played 8 games didn’t have a single sack.
