If Hurts is your guy and he can’t beat Tyler or Brissett in camp why would we want him to be the starter not like they are a massive bar to beat

I think Ertz is a decent player,  but he doesn't block and really was a high target guy.  It's like a basketball player taking a lot of shots in order to score.   I think teams will take him for sure, but not to where they need to both pay him and give up anything significant. 

He's a nice compliment piece, let's not get carried away.

Like damn Hurts is apparently the only QB that can’t have a backup on the entire NFL now because it would make a controversy at the QB position.

Like if he is your guy and you believe in him than you should have no concerns over Brissett or Tyler coming

I have to be honest,  if I'm Indy, I would rather have Sudfeld back up Wentz. I like keeping similar style QBs so the offense in practice runs the same. Be consistent from day 1 of the off-season. It's why Brissett or Taylor make sense here....AS THE CLEAR BACKUP....NO CONTROVERSY!

Why I said whoever comes cheaper, so they know their place behind Hurts and to help him.
