Pay attention to my full posts.  I'm not paying him, whoever comes cheaper as a backup.   Because both are backups at this point in their careers.

The whole world knows.  We know it's rebuild.  We know Hurts will struggle.  We know a vet might help him get through it more than a rookie?    I'm baffled with this one as to why it's hard to understand?

GB... nobody.... zero people.   No Eagles fans want Brissett or Taylor as the QB.    They would be here to help ...like vets do to young QBs. If Hurts gets injured,  they come in and run the same plays.   As compared to a pocket passer type.  If it was a rookie going in and that rookie played well...then it could be controversy.  Getting the vet totally eliminates the controversy.
