Jones, Chark, Shenault for Lawrence. Now add Ertz to that and you have some offense going on

He opted out which meant his contract was basically on hold, so we had the option to keep him or nullify the contract. Basically we nullified the contract is how I am seeing it

Yeah, pretty much it was like the deal never happened. We could have enforced the contract if we wanted to, but with the talent in this years draft,no need to keep him

Per terms of the Marquise Goodwin-to-#Eagles trade last year, Goodwin reverts back to the #49ers, the NFL announced Tuesday. The 49ers must send the Eagles their original seventh-round pick this year. S.F. now has nine draft picks.

But it is the right backup.  Running QB backing up a running QB.  You practice the same all season with both guys.  Easier for everyone else the less changes that have to be made.   

The Eagles should follow suit if possible.  Not sure there is anyone out there that fits.  Smith I guess, we shall see.

Had him in a league last year...I would take him as WR 5 if he is there late

I mean,  technically we need to get under the cap first. If we reach terms , other teams know we need to cut players before that free agent can sign with us.   This is why I see us with no leverage with Ertz.   We can't sign guys if there is no room, waiting for an Ertz trade may prevent us from signing a free agent .
