No clue lmao from what I seen he was the backup in TB

Whoopie!

apparently Buffalo and SD are front runners for Ertz. Talk is maybe SD would give up one of their 3rd rounders in exchange for Ertz and a 6th round pick. I would take that.

Buffalo traded away one of their TE's to make room for Ertz..... Either way it appears both want him, which is a plus. Guessing whoever does not get him will go after Rudolph...

LOL. They can't afford a proven contributor.

Part of "the plan" Pay 2nd rate players, because right after you sign the contract, they give you a turn at the bingo wheel, to see when you will appear in the mash tent

I also saw on FB the teams "THANK You" to Alshon. Did he pay the money back??? I would thank him and Djax both after they did that. If not, you're a millionaire and I don't feel sorry for you and they should be thanking the teams that made them so.not the other way around. But I suppose we need to play nice, so we can bring them back when they turn 40 for that coveted "vet presence"

Kinda looks like antifreeze

I'll take one!

Jeffery was an integral part of getting that Super Bowl win ... I'd think all Eagles fans would be grateful for his contributions that helped lead to that, regardless of how the years following transpired.

I'm sure we thanked him for the SB win in '17(don't they get bonus money???). How many thank you's is enough for making a guy a millionaire? BTW he was paid well to do a JOB, just like you and me. My boss never thanked me every year for doing the job he was paying me to do

LOL Sry Stine. I had 3 with lunch with my daughter, then later I went to the local, taught them how to make them and had 5 more and my "constitution" was normal,so I am blaming the corned beef 🙄

Hey Stine,at least your pipes are clear HAHAHAHA

Heard on the Radio this AM that Adam Schefter stated 4 QB's would be taken within the first 5 picks. That would mean Either Chase or Pitts would be there if they could trade back to 8. I would assume cincy takes the Tackle.... Of course Carolina could be one of the teams that jumps ahead of Philly so that would scratch that trade back....

Either Way, you have to be real excited to get either one of those two players..... You may like one better, but both are game changers...

As far as Adams, not a terrible pick up due the indication he can play multiple positions, which fits right in with the aforementioned "Plan" lol. Maybe we turn him into a LB?

If those 2 are the choices i'll take Pitts because of his versatility

I find it hard to believe we would go with another NDSU QB but best believe if the FO falls in love with a QB in this draft we will end up drafting a guy. It’s that simple.

Why does the college matter?    If the guy can play, you take him.

Nope,we still need a BU QB(2 preferably) somewhere yes??? The cheapest option is to draft one or UDFA 2. Maybe you don't pay attention to what i say either lol

The vet minimum is the cheapest vs the cap. It's one year with no signing bonus and does not require use of a draft pick.  Cheaper on 2 counts than drafting one.

Howie will take the top kicker, since we need one. I also feel Carolina will move ahead of us,

That's been my pick for quite awhile

Why pay one??? You already know he is gone year 2??? Why waste the money? league min or not it's a waste ,of resources. You have 4 years to decide if you want to pay your  draft pick or not. How good have our draft picks been? You are talking about ONE pick ruining it all? Aren't we already ruined? So pick 189 is a bust,we haven't had those before??? Instead you want to pay a guy who is gone the following year? OK whatever, but I disagree. A fail is a fail whether you draft one or pay one

???? So the draft pick is an unpaid intern .... it's what you make it sound like?    You do understand that the draft picks get guaranteed money and signing bonus which becomes a little dead money if they get cut year 2.  The vet minimum has the least effect on the cap, both first year and afterwards.

Players selected in the sixth round will get a salary ranging from $662,972 to $642,353. The first pick of the sixth round gets a $662,972 salary as part of a four-year, $3.5 million deal.                 So find me a vet who will work for less and I'm in

Lmao yes how it should be I agree but do we really believe that how it always plays out? Can’t image Howie and Lurie are jumping at the bits to go for another QB from NDSU.

The cheapest option is to NOT pay someone and draft one. It gets no cheaper than that. Draft a late guy, take a UDFA too, start Hurts and see where it goes. I have spent no money on a QB. I will take your 4-5 mil BU QB money and find and fill a position of need even if it's a decent depth BU lineman, because we need everything

So the vet minimum is $4 -5 million?   This is where you get into unnecessary debates all the time,  you don't pay attention to the other guy's post.   The vet minimum is not $4-5 mil.  Did Sudfeld make $4 mil last year?  He was over the vet minimum and made less.  The designation of "vet minimum " actually allows the player to make more money ( idk the exact #, maybe around $1 million depending upon how many years of service) but the whole amount does not count vs the cap.    And there is no dead money or any cost year 2.  Plus you don't use the draft pick.    So it's cheaper than a draft pick.
