I didn't say trade, I SAID I can see him going to Dullaz

Nope, thats what I WANT to happen. it's not etched in stone. I have no clue if that is likely or unlikely to happen

Lmao and me saying Dallas is unlikely to draft Pitts isn’t etched in stone it’s a guess just like your 9000000 mocks and how you think the top of the draft going to play out etc. it ALL THE SAME !!!!!!

Anyway back to Pitts. If we pass, I doubt they(Dullaz) would have any problem at all taking him. After trolling their boards they are set on Surtain.or that is the concensus there, but they are ignoring the fact Pitts could be there is we pass on him. Also have zero clue if it's likely on unlikely they take him if their hearts are set on Surtain. Noone knows until they make the pick, but I would be certain if it was Pitts or Surtain they wouold LIKELY have to think about it

LMAO, Sure,it's how I see it go, as you do,it has ZERO do to with what's "Likely". it's a guess just like you make. I have no clue what is "likely" to happen and I wont until the picks are made. I think it's LIKELY jax takes Lawrence, after that I have no clue

Lmao it’s completely does...

If I’m doing a mock draft I’m picking guys I believe are likely to go to those locations it’s a guess on what I believe is most LIKELY to happen

A mock is who you HOPE is there. I have no clue if Pitts is Likely or unlikely to be there, I will know after pick 5 lmao

Lmao maybe that how you do yours I don’t I do my mocks on what I believe is the most likely outcomes.  So more power to your on just wishing and hoping

The one thing about this draft is that, in the draft network's simulator, it seems like after the fourth round, a lot of the best players available are safeties, corners and wide receivers. Given our bevy of late round picks, I am hoping we can hit on a position of need in the fifth, sixth or seventh round.

I HOPE Pitts is there at 6 I don't know if that;'s likely or unlikely(neither do you)

Dolphins sign Fuller, which lessens their chances of taking Chase.

I still see Chase going to Cincy. I'm sure Burrow is pushing for it.

I am thinking more and more that the Dolphins and Cincy go oline. This is a deep oline draft, but only a few top end guys.

Ok buddy lmao you can use whatever logic you want I don’t care anymore

Vet minimum depends how many years you’ve accrued in the NFL. Each year you have to make more(as a minimum). But part of the cost of going with a draftee is the draft pick.....not just the dollars. Draft picks (should be) are valuable.

Thanks man!

Since we're in a near total rebuild it's best to go with the vet QB2. Not just for the sake of a QB fuss, but mostly for me to get as many pieces around the QB and on D to make this team respectable again.

Except Pitts is more than a TE. If he was listed as a WR with NO TE play he would still be one of the top 5 or 6 WR's. Detroit could use that in a trade down also(smoke and mirrors) to get another team to come up to 7 if we passed on him,so now you'd be looking at Dullaz or the Gnats on a move up to 7. I would hate to have to face this guy twice a year for 5 years

GB, I know you think you or Ham discovered this guy.  I went to same high school,  I know his game...very well. You don't have to sell me on him.   I think you have to look at the draft and see the possibility he may fall.  Teams like linemen and QBs.   We shall see, but I just hope he goes someplace neutral.

I said unlikely not impossible but Dallas had no issues putting up points with Dak they couldn’t stop anyone though so why I see it as unlikely they go TE

Idk....he is more than a TE though.   Absolutely you could finish off the offense with Pitts .. and go D the rest of the way, plus they can sign actual free agents.   We are the team stuck at the moment due to limited space with Ertz and Barnett still on the roster.

Imagine...  Zeke, Pitts, Lamb, Gallup and Cooper.      That is what you give your franchise QB... then the soap opera of all the other stuff doesn't happen.

In that case.... here is my mock.

1. Lawrence.  2. Sewell.  3.  Pitts.  4.  Chase.   5.  Smith.   6.  Waddle.  7 Farley  8. Parsons. 9. Surtain  10. Rousseau. 11. Barmore.

In my mock... we get the franchise QB, the OT, all 3 WR spots and a stud TE ... you could build an offense around this group.

On defense, you get a DT, Edge, both CBs,  and stud LB.    For a rebuilding team, this is a good start for the defense.

In addition,  I could pick up some extra picks and open up some cap space by trading Hurts and possibly a veteran or two.  Long term, I feel it's solid, especially being first year with a new coach.

I'm sure we thanked him for the SB win in '17(don't they get bonus money???). How many thank you's is enough for making a guy a millionaire? BTW he was paid well to do a JOB, just like you and me. My boss never thanked me every year for doing the job he was paying me to do

The difference between your job and that of a pro athlete.  You get paid to do your job.   Take Aaron Rodgers for instance.   He gets paid to win a SB...like all the other QBs.  This year Tom Brady was the only one who got paid and won it... so he can get thanked.  Just like other WRs were paid in 2017... but Alshon helped win.

So he can get thanked.  You follow.   Just like if your boss paid you to beat out 31 other competing companies... and you did... he could thank you.  I imagine that you and all the other guys still get paid though?

But what the guy gets paid .   And what counts vs the cap are 2 different numbers.  You can pay the vet according to years of service, and won't count extra vs the cap.

These are moves I don't think we can make until Ertz and Barnett moves make more room.

I didn't get to see him in HS, but I watched him plenty in the swamp and I still followed them after I moved to NC. If you saw my "composite" BB then you'd see only Sewell is listed as a top 10 lineman. I'm not "selling" anyone,I am merely suggesting in my view, Pitts is the most impactful (is this a word? LOL) player we can get at pick 6. Other than Sewell and Pitts the "composite" feelings are the top 10 are QB's WR"s and CB's. Who knows, the Eagles may have Rousseau as their top pick. I don't control that

I hope those are all there also!! I never said hope was reality. It may even be "likely" we get one of those, but with Howie you can't state that as certainty

Except I only "assisted" beating out 31 guys in 2017, why would he thank me the other years?

Would you say thank you to Dawkins if you saw him?  He didn't win a title for the Eagles.

No, he did the job he was paid to do
