QB is always exception to the rule for me.  I prioritize starter.  A punter round 6 could start. A ST player plays more snaps than a backup QB. Like I said.  Until we take care of the starters,  I don't want to worry about the backups.  Find QB one... then go get QB 2.   The UDFA for me is good enough compared to round 6.  Look at your draft board. Get me one of those guys you passed on for the QB.

I’m not really prioritizing ST players this year. Looking for position players. Starter or at least backup level quality. Some of them might be good at ST also. But if they can’t play offense or defense....I’m not real interested this season.

I’m talking about the compensation to pry Ertz  from us in a trade. Yes Ertz can talk to anyone but both sides have to agree on it. Just because Dallas could be interested doesn’t mean the Eagles Fo would agree to trade Ertz to them.

Aren’t we all speculating what is likely and unlikely to happen lmao your guessing that we will draft Pitts at 6 lmao

Let’s say dallas was interested in Ertz....I don’t believe they are...but let’s just say they wanted to trade for him. Could they get another team to trade for them? Making a second trade with that team giving them a little more...as a transaction fee(we’ll call it).

Sure I do it’s unlikely they go TE lmao it isn’t that hard to see.
Jarwin and Dak have a good connection they have 3 weapons at WR already poised to drop 30+ a night of healthy.

way more likely they sure up the defense.

Does it make it impossible they go TE no but again it’s unlikely. I know you only care about offense but there is another whole side of the football

They are definitely going CB. No doubt. Even if a run on corner happens right before them. They....are....going....corner.

Anyway back to Pitts. If we pass, I doubt they(Dullaz) would have any problem at all taking him. After trolling their boards they are set on Surtain.or that is the concensus there, but they are ignoring the fact Pitts could be there is we pass on him. Also have zero clue if it's likely on unlikely they take him if their hearts are set on Surtain. Noone knows until they make the pick, but I would be certain if it was Pitts or Surtain they wouold LIKELY have to think about it

Thanks man!

Since we're in a near total rebuild it's best to go with the vet QB2. Not just for the sake of a QB fuss, but mostly for me to get as many pieces around the QB and on D to make this team respectable again.

Respectable? Respectable? We suck. It’s ok. It happens. But we could be pretty exciting if we add some quality young playmakers. We showed we can generate sacks. Dline still intact. This defense might actually accentuate Slay’s playmaking abilities. Sanders is explosive. Goedert I’d call solid. Reagor and Watkins flashed some explosiveness.

Dolphins sign Fuller, which lessens their chances of taking Chase.

Does it?

Right the back up QB isn't really playing

I still see Chase going to Cincy. I'm sure Burrow is pushing for it.

Don’t think Burrow would be crying over Sewell.

Sad, oh you mean DUllaz, yeah they have their hearts set on Surtain on the boards

I am thinking more and more that the Dolphins and Cincy go oline. This is a deep oline draft, but only a few top end guys.

Wondering if Rosie is falling in love with one we aren’t thinking about right now

Like Chip Kelly era...  doesn't matter about winning,  just some exciting plays is all that counts.

Yeah, unless we let Pitts fall to them lol

Why would the fins NOT take Sewell at pick 3?

Why not just wait for his release?

Because they are assuming we take Pitts lol

I mean I don’t think that is against the rules but definitely not common in the NFL lol

Justin Fields ran a 4.41 damn

I think I’m more pondering just even the idea of trading with your nemesis....knowing they don’t want to trade you somebody. Or even is there somebody...maybe in the future...that we would want from Dallas, Giants, Wash ....that we could get a middle man to trade for that player...and we give that team a little sweetener for doing the deed....and get that player ....in a double trade  because they wouldn’t want to do it.

IDK I think a trade deal is a bit late now. teams have signed TE's this week. Buffalo may be the exception, but once again smarter to wait for his release. SO the only thing is if Bufflao thinks Ertz will be signed by someone else. That is their only motivation for not waiting

Exciting looks like our ceiling at present. Winning and contending look so far away. Really relying on some big draftee boost even for the exciting.

I think people were just struggling to envision bringing in a TE. They thought...we have Ertz andGoedert. Why a TE...at 6? But then once you wrap your head around the whole scenario Pitts becomes very much in play.

LOL didn't mean we're on the way to being respectable with good draft picks. MAYBE in '22. All of these young guys are going to have to gel.

Didn't we win the division in Chip's 1st year?  If that happens pretty sure I'd be like: 866429848_FredSanford-ItsTheBigOneElizabeth.GIF.addf81fa7eeccdc77b0b475de919c678.GIF LMAO

We already gave Ertz permission to talk to other teams.what makes you believe Ertz is staying in Philly? And I troll the Dullaz boards, they have already assumed we take Pitts,or at least he will be gone when they pick. They are settled on Surtain, BUT that is assuming Pitts is gone,so what if he is there???  I would think they would love to have a Witten replacement who is arguably going to be better than Witten was

So Golladay has an offer from the Bengals and is meeting with the Giants

Pretty much figure the Lions go WR, or they get Pitts if we pass and grab another WR later. Pitts could go to ATL, thats why I hope Carolina moves up to pick 4 lol. Of course with Howie noone knows who he will pick. He never picks the right guy thats why teams love sitting behind us lol
