My goal this year is to have a receiver get over 500 freakin yards. I guess Djax and Alshon were SUCK vet presences

I think McLaurin in Wash is probably a good example of your point

DJax wasn’t on the field much. Not sure he’s the guy for the film room study either.

Well like I said Djax and Alshon were here and I saw no real vet presdence on our younger guys. I could be wrong, maybe they got a few tips or whatever, but Im not going out to hire a guy for them. I mean a 3rd/4th rounder like Grimes is pretty much ready to roll

Well we had TWO vet presences here,so really you are just replacing those with another guy and maybe they got a few tips off them, but for me thats no reason to spend 10 million dollars

So really look at  how many McLaurins do you see in this draft? I see quite a few that could be equally as good

If I want JUJU because he will get my team to win, then by all means go get him,but not as a vet presence. Although thats an added bonus for the developmental guys,I need my starters to start. Rook or vet. So I mean if you want a guy with experience, then get a cheap has been and add him to the staff. same result I would assume

IDK,we haveFulgham,Reagor and other guys that now have a year in and this is a deep WR class. I see no reason to empty the checkbook on one. If I'm gonna do that,I would rather spend on a CB to pair with Slay

Yep, if choice I want a 1. CB or 2. LB

I think ten..eleven million over three years is pretty good for your top receiver.

If you could get Juju or Golladay for that

Bears releasing Kyle Fuller. That’s huge

Maybe Luck comes out of retirement lol. I think he is only 29?

GB - LOL wishful thinking. Not out of the realm of possibility though I suppose.

Lmao Tua just has a way better arm more accurate and still progressing and getting better. Only real knock is durability but yea I give that one. But far more impressed with Tua then Hurts in college and rookie years in the NFL.

Both are gimmick QBs.... same as Murray... and all less athletic than Lamar.... who we have seen 3 years and 4 playoff games... that stuff doesn't work.    They all can entertain and get some stats for your fantasy team..... not going to win anything of substance come playoffs.

They were picking on Siri this morning on the radio. Every other word supposedly was "Like" out of his mouth. I wonder how they talked in public when they first started out. Sure he sounds like a novice. Guess what? He is! We have no idea how he will coach, so lets let this play out before critiquing him with every little thing.

Reminds me of people I deal with on an every day business. One woman always says "You know what I mean"..... LOL No I have no clue! My sister always says "Oh My God".... Drives me crazy after talking to her for more than 3 minutes.....

Anyone else have something to add?

Yeah. I'm having a hard time getting excited for the draft or the season.

Too many unknowns.

A draft Q and A.

Philadelphia Eagles NFL Draft Q&A: Best Big Running Back Fit? (insidethebirds.com)

Nothing earth shattering. Two interesting points were that he wouldn't draft any qb at 6 except for Lawrence and Fields and he wouldn't trade back past nine as the talent level drops off pretty considerably.

Seems to me that I would address CB, LB, RB in that order, before DE. Only because of a more pressing need in those positions. Having said that, You need to take the best option at your pick. If no LB is available or graded when you pick, you need to take a player that is graded at that spot and fills a need for your team. IF there is no one obviously you try and trade back....

With McLeod in the final year of his deal and Mills having moved on, I think S needs to be a priority too - I'd probably put that up there with CB.

Oh and who needs a LB ... we have Avery!

I wanted to see Malik Hooker brought in as a FA thought he would have been cheap.

Another interesting move would be Maddox going back to S still think his best spot is the position McLeod plays(or guess played under Schwartz).

Cam Johnson to Texans. Even with all the probs in Houston he felt things were better there?

Now Howie has an excuse for a 1st rd kicker. Yep, kicker all the way!

Did Hooker already get signed elsewhere?

They gave him a decent contract and he wasn't good last year. I don't think he thought about the culture too much when they were showering him with benjamins.

I’m not sure honestly. I haven’t seen anything but could have easily missed it
