The kid from Liberty is getting some serious heat due to Quincy Avery liking his game.

Howell has ZERO picks in 2 years(42 TD's)

IDK Cincy signed a ROT, Fins signed Fuller. Both on 1 year deals, SO these could be stop gaps for the draftees they are targeting,so you guys could be right about who takes Sewell/Chase. Right now that could go either way. This will be one of the most interesting drafts I can recall. before it was fairly well set,but this top 10 is wide open(well 2- 9 anyway lol)

I was reading about the Reiff acquisition. They took him to dinner, not uncommon, but what WAS, was that many of the cincy players also showed up too, and they were all recruiting him. Thats a TEAM attitude

No,I want him gone so we can take Pitts lol. I'm not paying millions to keep a guy just to "make a deal later"

Some guy keeps saying..." Pitts is more than a TE"  so Ertz should not effect whether or not he gets drafted here.  Lol

True, but it would be a bit "awkward" lol

I’m not comparing Hurts to Brady but I’m sure Brady’s scouting report wasn’t that glowing either.

Welcome to the board, chime on in,we could use some fresh perspective

Rieff signed and if Cincy can draft Sewell, thats the beginning of a brick wall O line lol

Marcel Louis-Jacques on Twitter: "Buffalo was believed to be a suitor for Zach Ertz, but a league source told me Tuesday night there was "nothing there” between Bills and Eagles Heard from multiple sources that Eagles’ asking price for Ertz was as high as a 3rd round pick" / Twitter

I actually like the fact that he is still on the roster. It keeps the team from making any really dumb free agent decisions and we might be better off holding on to him until some team has a TE get hurt and needs one really badly. Also, note to Zach Ertz, when Jacob Hollister is some team's Plan B, you may want to reconsider your position if you were Plan A.

Man you can spin stuff.     You want the CB from Pittsburgh,  but don't consider the fact that we need cap space for the move.... which Ertz release could open up the space... but then you are glad we don't have the space to make a move due to Ertz?

And the reality is the Eagles are coming out looking bad here, not Ertz. Ertz wants out, the Eagles goofed by asking too much before he got hurt last year.  Keeping the unhappy player to squeeze a minor return is not a good look around the league.  The players and agents notice this.

Joe, you are local What is the feeling about our O and D lines(sans the BS drama hype). I understand we need to get young guys in, but what is the local 'flavor" about hitting that early? We always need CB and LB and I really want newsome at 37. I was wondering what the locals are saying bout our O line. We need to think about  C also. Not a BU,but one we can have for 10 years when Kelce retires

We signed Anthony Harris S from the Vikings

Local is all news about Wentz still.   Plus they had to pick on the coach about the press conference yesterday.   It's not the usual buzz about all the little details. Still just mostly venting about all the negative stuff.   The local media loves to soap opera.

Ertz is under contract. If he is so unhappy, he can give back the money. I am sure that agents and players don't pay too much attention to situations like this, since every team goes through it, including the Steelers with Nelson. I am sure they aren't going to give him away just to make him happy.

As far as the cap situation, I think the team in the past has made moves just to make moves, which has often not worked out great. Now that they are strapped for cash, they are being more prudent. If that's a hard concept to grasp, you probably aren't married. My wife can make a dollar stretch a mile when she needs to, and make money disappear like David Copperfield when she doesn't.

$5 million for one year, so great value. He and McLeod should be good together.

Thats ONE exception in 2 decades lol. Anyway that was only Walters take. I will look at some others

I get that but does it really matter what the reports or talking heads say, Jalen is all we have at the moment and as Eagles fans we will hope he proves them all wrong. I’m actually looking forward to the young coaching staff and getting younger overall then watching them grow.

You need to get a job talking to terminally ill patients.   You could talk them into investing in some good long term products.   Great spin.

The counter... during the past the Eagles have always done the classy thing and release the player.   Except DeSean. Now you do this to Ertz ,to try to squeeze a little return.  That's a bogus move, and you know it too.  Put the kewl aid down for a minute and see what's going on.   It ain't pretty.

Google Marcus Hayes from the Inquiror... most recent article on Wentz. That is the Philly media agenda.

I don't think it's a bogus move. It's a business. Everyone knows it's a business. And Ertz doesn't need to get released right now. Teams don't have any OTAs for weeks, and may not have them at all. Ertz is just throwing a hissy fit, like he did right before the start of the season. And I don't have time for that.

JJ Watt released.   Jenkins last year.   Foles before that.  Plenty of other times the Eagles did that.  Ertz has earned that here.  It is a business... the agents will remember if this gets too far out of hand.   I'm not talking about a couple days... but this idea of holding on to him until training camp and waiting for an injury... that is ridiculous.  Right now the PR with this team is not good... except for maybe in your house?   The Ertz situation is not helping.  If the team performs badly again, along with the bad PR, things can stay that way for a while.

And a Duke Riley signing means squat about how the LBs were.  Every team needs special teams players.

OT-my Buckeyes got kicked out by Oral Roberts in the tourney lmao, so right now I am a NC fan
