Rumor is he going to the Gnats, or at least other players are helping recruit him

Adoree seems to have a pretty good size market for his services. Visits Giants today has a meeting with us Monday. AZ & KC are supposed to be interested in him.

Sheldon Rankins(DT) and Kwon Alexander(ILB) are 2 I would look at from the Ain'ts. Both coming off injuries(remember Jones we let go???) With that, maybe we can pick up a bargain if we have time to let them heal properly. Depends on how long it takes for them to get healthy and what $$ is involved

Yeah despite this being a "bad year" for deals, he should do better than some

would argue that the pass rush is way more important in both those schemes than linebacker play.

But we will see. It is pretty likely we will go into the season with Edwards and Singleton starting. They didn't hurt us last year, and I doubt they will do so this year. They only had 6 games playing together, and by the Washington game looked pretty good together. But we will see what the new regime thinks.

Ultimately, the best case scenario would be Taylor developing, and I think it is worth giving him one more year to see what he becomes before losing our minds and drafting a LB early or paying someone in free agency.

I think pass rush is important in any D scheme that obvious. But the LB play for both Minnesota and Indy is FAR superior then ours and are pretty big pieces for both squads.

Your far higher on our LBs then me Edwards is a liability in my eyes and will start to show and Singleton is what he is a decent LB.

Rumor is we could have interest in Eric Wilson Lb from the Vikings think he would be a massive upgrade over what we have

He got hurt .... the team around him was a dumpster fire.   Let's not act like anything was normal with the firedrill OL and a different combo of WRs each game and Sanders in and out of the lineup.

You act like it's a conscious choice to play poorly.

The front office is responsible for the experience you are going to have as a fan the next few years.. all the defection you do here isn't going to change that.

Yeah....it seemed like his head wasn’t in it to say the least. It’s possible he was actually trying to sabotage force a trade early on. That is a legitimate strategy to force your way out. Other things going on wouldn’t have been as bad if our top receiving weapon didn’t completely tank. That hurt the offense more than any other single factor probably.

I will say at Lb the biggest wild card to me is Avery think he could really thrive in this scheme have himself quite the breakout possibly.

Wilson is crap. He had a 53 rating by pff last year, missed 12 percent of his tackles and produced only 10 pressures on 75 blitz attempts. He is okay in coverage, which is why a lot of people are high on him, but if you think he is an upgrade over what we have, be prepared to be screaming at your TV a lot next September if we sign him.

The goal should be to improve our LBs signing of drafting a guy is fine now upgrade. Best case scenario we get a good LB to start and guy like Taylor that we drafted beats out Singleton so we have upgrades at both LB spots.

Singelton Edwards would be great backups think we can do far better at starters though and that should be the goal

I’m already going to do that watching Edwards in coverage

Yup, I agree with this 100 percent. But I would focus on the draft rather than signing free agents.

I don’t limit myself if we like a guy in FA sign him if not draft a guy either way think we have to upgrade LB

IDK I would look at Kwon. Depends how far along he is in recovering. I believe he is only 27,so some tread left there( I still take Barnes in the draft)

So I’m looking at the Vikings D and the Colts, and the one element i see is they have a stud Lb(or LBs) then I look at our D and we at best have 1 decent guy in Singleton.

Feel like for this D to be at its best we need a game changing LB seems to be a key element.

How optimistic are you that Taylor will develop/transition?

What about the teary eyed interview when he said he wanted to stay?

LOL that was just Visine

He didn’t play really so nothing to judge him on really. I think physically he is talent but that doesn’t always translate to being a good player.

Hopefully new coaches coach him up and can get him on the field

"up to 6 months", so Kwon should be fairly close to recovery. he does seem to have a variety of injury issues, but maybe he is busting every play which would be refreshing lol

I think Bradley has a better shot than Taylor. He stood out in training camp, and probably would have had a better shot to move up the depth chart if there was a real preseason.

And, as previously mentioned, Avery could be a diamond in the rough. He has the athletic profile to be really good. He struggled in coverage as an OLB in a 3-4 where he was in man coverage a lot, but could be better in a zone scheme.

Pretty good acting. At least he'll have a career later

I was thinking more of a team up with Dorenbos and doing the Vegas circuit. Jon-"I will now make this whiner disappear"

If we are lucky enough to sure up our secondary in FA which we seem to have started getting Harris maybe we can land Adoree. It would allow us to be able to focus on the front 7 more in the draft

He was always thought of as a more developmental talent. I’d like to see him get involved some though to launch that learning curve. Playing time will be key on his development.

Bradley is more developed. But he doesn’t have but so much more room to grow. Bradley is a backup /ST as a ceiling.

 What does Avery do well?

I was wondering why we got Adams at S also. I know we got him first, then landed Harris. IDK if Adams can play LB???? I don't know much about him

Think he could do really well as a blitzing LB I’d image we will see lot of creative blitzes. Kinda only a niche but hey could be a start lol

Sounds like it was to help STs and be a backup S from what I read essentially replacing Ford
