Wondering here about the super DROP OFF of LeVon Bell once he left the Squeelers. Guys like this make a strong case for being around the same players every week/year. We see this all the time and why drafts are becoming more imperative(or should I say CORRECT drafts)

Could be another "tank this" game HAHAHAHA(ugh) Falco, Falco oh wait Flaco Flaco

6 wins puts us around 10. That is my feeling assuming Hurts plays OK. If he plays Good then we will win more, but no need for a QB so that is also OK. Finish at 10 with an extra #1 we can move down to 3-4 with just our other #1 pick. This may be enough depending on what the needs are for the other teams. QB is not always the #1 priority for teams finishing in the bottom. Sometimes the #1 QB is lost for the season, or they had zip for support.... Anyway, we should have a legit shot for the top 2 QBS if we fail this year as I think we will....

He improved so much he lost his job to TUA and had to transfer. I'm not annointing him yet

He improved and came in for Tua to win the SEC. To be fair Tua came in and looked absolutely amazing. Hurts doesn’t need to be anointed. You know he’s going to work his tail off to accomplish what coach wants. That’s all I’m asking. Looks to me like Hurts can handle the job. So I just need Siri’s vision to be realized. I just need Hurts to improve on his accuracy. Some of thats footwork. Some of its mechanical. Just repetition. Something we weren’t getting from the massively overpaid Wentz.

More correctly we never wanted Wentz to have to run

He was unstoppable converting that short yardage fourth down play. Gotta admit that

Am I the only one that would rather keep those picks??? Idk if I had the chance at QB sitting at 6 that I like I’d take it so I can keep all my picks.

I like what we can do with the roster more with two first next season over just the one first rounder this year.

He's not going to play here.   Gotta realize it.  Their play is to be petty, try to get a 6th rounder in the draft or cut him post June.   There is no good look, he's not going to perform on this roster.    Ship has sailed.

Airing it out..  someone who didn't watch the games I guess. Lol.

Just doesn’t fit your narrative that your Running QB threw for sooooo many yards.

This is an interview with Shaun Bradley that I found interesting.

(97) Interview with Eagles Linebacker Shaun Bradley | Flippin' the Birds - YouTube

Some highlights.

He likes Jalen Hurts. Says he commands the whole team and outworks everyone.

He said Gerry helped him out the most and knew the defense inside and out. He said he was blamed for a lot of things that weren't his fault, but he was covering for guys who made mistakes. He also said the scheme had issues.

He only played one year of hs football due to injuries.

He said the new coaches have "a lot of exciting things planned for the linebackers."

He said playing behind Fletcher Cox was amazing. He said he opened huge holes in the line because teams had to double him all the time. My guess is that he is salivating at the chance to blitz in our new scheme.

Kinda interesting to hear it from a player since coaches said similar things on Gerry

Nah... pretty much you described the whole season

The season sucked! But Tank Game was a whole other level. There were ways the rest of the season to pull some things out and be successful. At a low percentage a readily admit. Tank Game there was no chance for any success.

Dude... Foles had a great article written about him.  Where the first read being open was so crucial to his success.   I don't think he is good at reading the field.  He is good at dumping it off or putting up 50- 50 balls to his target.  Nothing on film is going to show Foles reading the field.

I don't want Hurts not to run.   I want him to show he cam do more, because when defenses took that away in the 2nd halves of games,  our offense did nothing.   It's 4 games same trend.

Your young team can't develop if your QB takes off too early.   It's why you don't see playof success with these running QBs.  I'd rather have my guy give his WRs a chance to get open as long as possible.   When your team stinks, you don't win by throwing the ball away, you need hero ball, which is exactly where both our QBs had success last year, playing hero ball.

They also showed where Hurts had time in the pocket and ran out for no reason.  It's a lot of instinct to change.  Even if he can, he's going to have to eventually make difficult throws.  Teams are going to force him left and make him have to make those throws.

Concerning Foles: accurate. His early success was the easy reads on the defense. Teams had to keep a high S over DJax. Fairly predictable reads came off this. Not a bad idea to create for the future of any QBs we have either. Foles has a glacial release. This is the issue. He can let it fly....but he needs to do so quickly. Hurts doesn’t have the Huge Cannon arm. So he would benefit from quick decisions as well. Where he’d really benefit is having a trustworthy blocking in front of him. Providing a better pocket I predict will allow Hurts to work better from an actual pocket. Not rocket science here.

Carolina signed Denzel Perryman at LB,they are putting a team together and I expect them to move to 2,4 in this draft(IDK that they have the draft capital to go to 2) 4 is possible,or they could choose to stay at 8 and maybe get lance there, unless they have a high expectation of someone else . IMO ATL trades back and takes lance,he has the tools and could sit behind Ryan. Carolina needs a starter. At 4 they could have one

Oh no supporting cast in Bama I guess lol. Hell they would make ME look good. Did he win the title at Oklahoma?

We are opposites, I want to see a solid team heading UP before I pay my next franchise QB(although we have Hurts for 2 years yet).In those 2 years I want to build up this roster. If Hurts is AMAZING by then,so be it,sign him long term. If not then take your TOP QB because I have a good enough TEAM to go places

And nearly the same % of picked passes. C'mon Ham you gotta take the good and the bad, you only sort out what you want to see. I am not anti-Hurts, but let's put the pom poms back in the trunk and see what he does over the course of a season. he will be learning along the way

I want to get the roster in shape to allow whatever QB we have to be able to perform. As it sits now, grabbing another QB will not do anything to be able to decide if Hurts or the QB we drafted are any good. So we draft players next year and then find out we failed on both choices? Then we are even further from competing IMO....

Although it's WAY early, the WR class next year is rather "slim" 2 nice QB's(maybe 3) next year. Hopefully we get some semblance of normalcy to see them play Reagor is fine,we need another DECENT WR(they are all through this draft) 2022 seems to be a nice O line draft, better than this year, but of course it's WAY too early. SO, if there ius a QB next year and we have 2 round 1's,that is the year to go for your QB while getting players at other positions THIS year. Just my thoughts

Can be on anyway we draft if we don’t hit on players. We get Chase and he is a bust wouldn’t be the first sure fire WR to not pan out . Hurts sucks we still need a QB and WR is still not improved.

Reality is we have to hit on draft picks.

We see it the same way

But to get that QB next year you could have to give up both 1s and more to do so. Over being able to get your guy this year at 6 and keep all your picks.

I get the logic on your way and fine if we go that route just stating the way I think about it though.

2022 QB class is thinner than this one(at this early point) if that holds and Hurts at least performs "OK" he could be used to trade up a spot or 2 if we wanted say Howell at QB in that draft, so I am hoping Hurts "shows well". if he blows us away, obviously you keep him. Thats what we need to find out this year

I have to admit with this Flacco grab we could be looking at a QB now. Totally different style than Hurts. But if we seek a pocket passer THIS year, Flac is a good teacher. I DONT see him helping Hurts hardly at ALL

Really it's an easier move with 2 round 1's than what we had getting Wentz(if I recall)

I mean one of hurts biggest flaws is his ability to work in the pocket was even mention more then a few times to leave the pocket way to soon when protection was good.

Having the ability to run should be a bonus but your job as a QB should be to beat teams with your arm first and foremost. So maybe just maybe he couldn’t aid in that aspect of Hurts game if he is the guy

I just think a Qb at 6 makes Howie look bad,and he hates that because people would now say "why did you waste that 2 pick on Hurts?" I would be one of them
