I don’t think You have to go to that level. I’d think most teams would like the second best QB in this class. We’d love Lawrence also. Doesn’t mean Hurts can’t play.

Ham I have been saying this for awhile now everything the Eagles have done have shown we are not sold on Hurts. I have said once will say again think Hurt was our 3rd option. We looked into Watson we looked at a trade up for who I think will be the best QB in this class in Wilson. The price was to rich so we are settling on Hurts

Look doesn’t matter how Hurts got the opportunity he got it so now he has to take it and run with it.... If he is as good as you keep spouting then he will prove me wrong be our franchise QB and we will have nothing to worry about at QB in 22. Truly hope that’s the case(I don’t see it but I’d rather be wrong on this one)

I’m fine and would agree that Hurts wouldn’t be the option in front of Watson or Wilson. Probably only a few guys that would be in front of those two.

It's for that reason I almost hope he whiffs again this year.  Almost.

It's like wanting to root for them to lose (to get into better draft position, whatever).  Your gut almost thinks that but when the time comes you can't help rooting for your team to win.

Actually we need Miami and Indy to suck but Wentz to have a good enough year for us to get the 1st

I’m honestly expecting a late 1st from Indy and hoping Tua tanks and Miami gives us an extra high first rounder

I thought this was already assumed?

Some think he does it for the team 😂

Keep looking at this draft and keeping lean our top 4 picks should be Defense.

Round 1- I’m sticking with Parsons until the Eagles disappoint me and don’t draft a LB round 1 lol.

Round 2- I’m sticking CB this to me is still the best value round for CB and don’t really see much of a drop off.(side not if one of the top guys slips at CB think you can look at moving back up into round 1 for them).

Round 3- I’d look at another CB and DL help since we have two picks

Same reason you still don’t understand we won our SB. We weren’t the best, most talented team. Gotta have talent, yes. But the chemistry....those guys were ready to face any adversity and ride or die together. Made the 53 pieces stronger than any individual piece.

We got lucky................starting with the fingertipped Bears FG

I’m sure you guys are up to speed on Farley. He is totally in play for our pick. Tall long corner that has all the tools. He is supposed to have minor back surgery. So he didn’t run at his Pro Day. Guy could be a stud. Back surgery always is a big worry for me. Having back problems is a really quick way out of the NFL. Horn tested through the roof. So I’d think Horn probably moved ahead of Farley. Farley has arguably the highest ceiling in this class. He needs more experience. He is a swing for the fences type pick. Can Rosie afford to pick guys like that? I’m thinking he’s going with the safest players that will pan out.....as capable...,not necessarily studly. Rosie really has a ton riding on this draft. He has to be perceived as successful in this draft or he’s out. He has great ammo. So I think he can turn the perception of him around very quickly with a few good picks. Don’t think he has the long leash like before though. All the blunders will be water under the bridge if he can pull four good players out of this draft. Like it or not....that’s all he has to do.

Horn

Horn, Oweh, Surratt and Josh Myers (replacement for Kelce for the next decade) round out my top 4

Rhamondre Stevenson- 6ft 245 I’d take him round 4-5 be our big RB should pair nicely with Sanders/Scott

My QB pick is moving up the boards fairly quickly(Mills)

Different year. Don’t think 2018 playoff win was luck either. The Bears were the better team but Pedey did enough to keep us in it. Their weak spot was definitely K.

Why do you love Oweh? Physical beast. But shouldn’t the guy record a sack. Super underachiever. Not sold on him with a high pick. Test through the roof....but produced nothing

Except he has been healthy last two years... The injury label been overblown

Why we have coaches???? Just gotta tame the beast and get him to focus.

I mean to be far we went for the guy that recorded all these sacks in Barnett and he has been a massive disappointment

You must be stoked on signing Flacco. He has a big arm and can make all the throws. Must make him an elite QB, right?

Ham.. talk to me in January.   One more question.   Ziggy Ansah or Lane Johnson?  Who would have been better pick for the Eagles?

Yeah no doubt.  Hoping Wentz can stay healthy for all of 2021 but his struggles continue as he tries to overcome whatever mental hurdles built up over the past couple of seasons here and Reich refuses to bench him hoping he’ll work his way to overcome them.  Him playing a full season and Indy missing the playoffs is best case scenario IMO.  Probably wishful thinking.  Probably also wishful thinking Miami will tank.  But we shall see ... anything can happen.

I'm not getting him to start game 1, he can start when he is ready(maybe game 2 lmao)

Safety needs to be addressed as well.
