Did it really matter lol if you are 9-8 or 8-9 or 8-8 I would look at the teams the same a middOr of the road squad

Well if you are 8-8 you can't claim you had a winning season lol

Well, At least We can basically agree on what positions they should address with the first 4 picks:

Either WR, CB, LB, Edge or DT ... Get 4 of these and hit on each one. Then we should be in good shape. Possibly a O-Guard Center....

Yep, I have Horn, then (pick your WR at 37) a LB at 70 (there are many) and Myers at C

With the added game the SB will be Feb 13th,the latest in history

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022   Big board in 2022. these are the guys to watch in college this next season. I see no reason we can't be in a position to take Howell(QB 2 as it stands now)

Next year I will take Howell and Teague(RB OSU) with my 2nd pick

As lifelong fans, we've seen the ebbs and flows. They'll gain an extra week of prep before the 1st game. Would much rather have camps start earlier/be longer. Drop another PS game?

IDK bud we hit high tide in '17 and have been "ebbing" since

It would also depend where we are picking and where Miami and the Colts are picking as wel lots of unknown variables. But cap wise definitely cheaper also gambling on a bigger unknown vs a proven guy like Wilson/Watson.

Something to worry about next though when we know what the QB class looks like where our picks are and what Hurts is

Agreed.  Not something to give much thought to now ... let's get through 2021 and see what Hurts looks like.

1/2 UDFA QB pick-ups(aka QB3)

2/2 UDFA QB

One of my HS classmates was Steve Bader lmao

Togiai bench-pressed 225 times a whopping 40 times on Tuesday, nine short of the modern NFL Scouting Combine record from 2011, held by Stephen Paea. (49). The defensive lineman came within a couple inches of No. 41, but couldn't quite finish.

A look at the receiver situation of the teams in front of us.

A top three wide receiver should be available to the Eagles at pick 12 | PhillyVoice

It seems really likely that one of the top four pass receiving targets (Smith, Waddle, Chase, Pitts) falls to us, and my guess would be that it is Smith due to his size.

This would be a huge win for the Eagles, as many people were mocking Smith to them before the trade. To get him at 12 would be fantastic.

Waddle  is5’10”....dropping do to size.

Waddle is what 5’10 185-190

Smith is what 6’1 170

Short and small are different things

Pretty major concern on Smith size weight wise apparently or it could just be teams throwing smoke

I do think Bateman is one of the more nfl ready guys I’d expect him to make a bigger impact early on then some other that maybe have more "upside” so they say lol

He has been my personal 2nd favorite WR prospect in this year’s draft.

All the talking heads have the Eagles picking ANOTHER WR for their first pick. Really? They didnt get it right just last year. Please go get the best player on the board period. Plenty of needs on this team.

I have very little faith in Howie to make the right call if they go WR early again.  Then again  I don’t have much faith in him drafting any position.  But you are right, this team needs an infusion of young talent across the board at practically every position.  Just have to hope he actually heeds the advice of his scouts this year when making the picks.

I think if Waddle or Smith are there, then they qualify as the BPA. If they are gone, Horn/Surtain or Paye/Phillips is fine.

I don't think this draft will be defined by what they do at 1. There are plenty of really good but not spectacular options at 12. The concern is the second or third round, where there will be legit decisions to be made, and those are the rounds (Hurts, Taylor, JJAW) where the team has really fallen behind the rest of the league.

I prefer we stay away from those two. Only because they are smaller type WR's and we already are loaded with them. Draft a CB Horn or LB Parsons if they are available to fill another need. Grab Marshall round 2. Bigger Body frame and not much worse IMO....

We do not want another Reagor. But to be fair, we really do not know what Reagor will do yet. He was hurt most of last year. That is why I don't want Smith or Waddle this year. Same body type and prone to injury IMO....
