Been thinking about the redskins a ton lately with them changing there name and rebranding etc. on what would I do if I was making the call for a new name. And I tend to lean toward the crowd that uses part of the franchises history I’d go with Washington Hogs or Red Hogs if they wanted to keep those HTTR. Ties to the peak of the franchise fans of theirs still wear hog masks as it is seems like an easy transition for them.

Also yes I know they a rival and all but this is such a rare thing that happens in sports a rebranding of a team name especially in major league sports I mean who was the last team to do in the nfl Ozzie when he left Cleveland for Baltimore and left the browns name/history??? I was to young for that one lol

May go back to the name I still think they have a copyright for the Warriors,but then again that is also "tricky".I read where a guy in VIrginia copyrighted like 500 different names lol.So if they chose one of them they'd have to pay him lol

They didn’t cave because of a small group they saved because Fedex refused to let them use the stadium unless they changed their name, Nike stop selling and producing anything with Redskins on it. Couldn’t get approved for a new location for a new stadium unless they changed their name.... And the NFL was backing the groups that said DC had to change thief name...

Really nothing Washington could have done minus taking massive losses of money and finding everything out of Synders own pockets

So Washington has no stadium to play at, no jersey and anything else Nike being made to sell to profit from... NFL breathing down there necks as well....

Not insulted at all.We are having an adult discussion(as it should be).The goal posts for this moves daily since NOONE knows anything.Dr Fraudi can't make up his mind as a so called "expert".So asking the question you posed "who do you believe?" Many deaths attributed to covid were for other things,but they get more money if they list them as covid deaths.Kids are back in school in other countries with no visible effect.many died because govt "leaders" put infected people into nursing homes. Then they blame spikes on "trump rally's" but totally ignore rioting as a cause. The initial "thing" was "30 days to flatten the curve" We did that,but now our freedoms are not restored.So,this is very hard to deal with because of the varying info and so called "science".You and I are free to believe what we want,but the fact remains,no matter how you feel about it,if this economy doesn't re-open and if we don't get our kids back in school,covid will be the least of your problems

BTW the 99.4% recovery rate is excellent,when compared to other things.Driving a car is more dangerous.I mean you could DIE!! Did we ban those? I have a greater risk of dying from a bee sting,so for me it is individual choice.This covid is on anything and everything,yet you grab your mail everyday right? I know many in the healthcare industry and they,like us have a variety of opinions.And also let's not talk about the growing cases of child abuse,and suicides among our kids,because you know that fits noones agenda(regardless of your party).You can't have a family BBQ with 25 people,but it's fine to go riot and burn cities with 2,000 people.Sorry,but that is inconsistent insanity and tyranny.JMO.Stay safe all,now back to football talk 🙂

Ohhhh brother I fell you ...I am involving myself with Vets and our  high suicide rates . About 20vets commit suicide every day. trying to find a role as a volunteer. The latest science discounts the Earlier reports that the Virus remained on surfaces for3 to 6 hrs is not true. The politicallization if that's a word Of the news papers , television is not a good sign for our Democracy. Who  do you trust. What is truthful today. Our Enemies Think they smell blood. I am working on starting my own Media Company. 

We the American people are the only ones remaining with knowledge of Free speech that have an understanding of freedom. In a World  more and more Authoritatively controlling their citizens . Washington already changed the Bullets to the Wizards.    I thought the NBA team in New Orleans changed their name recently.  I could have sworn an NHL team did recently too?   As for Browns going to Ravens... similar to Oilers to Titans... the change in city went with that, so to me its not a normal " change"   similar to the Expos turning into the Nationals.   But I'm not sure who was the last team to change names while staying in the same city?

IDK,then you have teams like the BALTIMORE COLTS,OAKLAND RAIDERS and the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS who kept the moniker even with the city change

LOL no matter,some said he would NOT return as a G anywhere because it was a pride thing.It was "LT or retirement". He was on the market a long time!!! Conjecture to know if Brooks injury had anything to do with the decision,although if we were on the fence that would tip the scale.Probably could have gone out and found a younger OG to add,but we didn't so who knows?
