Doesn't matter now anyway with us picking up #12. But one of Pitts or Chase would have been there.

I find myself agreeing with Rosie. Bengals want Chase paired back with Burrow.

Won't matter if Burrow is on IR all the time because the Bungles can't put an O line in front of him

IDK If ATL takes Pitts and Cincy took Chase, then Joe would be right and maybe that was one of the reasons to move back. You know they have inside info we don't ,and although I had them taking a QB, there is no rush with the Ryan re-sign

They can get their OT in 2,3 and beyond. It's not like round 2 guys are trash, they are fully capable of holding down the position. Plenty of nice OT, OG's and C's in rounds 2,3

CIncy-round 1-Chase,round 2 Alex Leatherwood(OT Bama) or Wyatt(OG-OSU) these 2 aren't chopped liver and BTW Leatherwood can and has played both OT spots(would even be a nice pick-up for us who could get some snap time in before we find our QB next year)

That does make a lot of sense.  Give Burrow everything he needs to succeed.  They know each other well from their college days.  And Atlanta showing a lot of interest in Pitts - they could both be off the board by the 6th pick.  Wonder if that backfires on Miami (maybe they made the moves they did from 3 to 12 and back up to 6) thinking one of them would be available.  Wonder if they'd go either Smith or Waddle in that case to pair Tua up with his former college teammate similar to Burrow-Chase.

I know, so many think you need to draft OL in the 1st to get a good one.  Look at the guys we've had over the years:  Peters (undrafted), Brooks, (3rd rd), Kelce (6th), Seumalo (3rd), Vaitai (5th), Mailata (7th), etc.  The only projected starter that was a 1st was Johnson.  If Dillard starts that'll make 2 x 1st rd picks.

This will be the most interesting draft for me I think in quite awhile. Especially tough when there is no combine and some, well let's say rather "miraculous" pro day 40 times(like there is no bias there HAHA)

Yeah I had said Chase back with Burrow. Miami is in a great spot. Even if Pitts and Chase go they are looking at the top OT or a plethora of WR possibilities, so At 6 I really don't see how you can lose(which is the position we were in lol)

Since everyone feels we have Kelce's replacement already on our roster, that frees up the 84 pick for me. I was just not that confident that guy was there and I really want to avoid the "try them all and see if anyone can do it" routine because that's not a spot to keep doing musical chairs at

If you look at several NFL big boards, there are a lot of intriguing names ranked around 84th at positions of need. WRs Dyami Brown and Elijah Moore. RBs Kenneth Gainwell and Michael Carter. LBs Chazz Surratt and Cameron McGrone. I think we should be spending top 100 picks on positions where we aren't very good now rather than filling holes that don't exist yet, or might not exist at all.

I'm also not convinced we go WR that early. I still like Tylan Wallace for us at 70. I see no real drop off from him as opposed to a round 2 WR. I am leaning towards- Horn,Ossai(Edge-texas), Wallace and Surratt at LB with our first 4

I did this little mini mock before I read your post lol

After some research it seems both Ossai and Surratt have alot of ceiling room to hit yet. With little to lose this season, those are the player types I want rather than guys that are nearer their peaks

Quez Watkins changing his number to 16.... He is one of the guys I’m excited for going into year two... Didn’t get on the field early in the year but when he finally got a chance looked explosive we need explosive players

I would prefer Oweh over Ossai, but not sure Oweh will be around at 37

Especially with this strong class of lineman

You are 100% on this?

I say they go 4 and 5.

Agreed. Chase wasn’t going to be there. Man it would have been great to have that studly receiver. Pitts I’m not as sure about. Three QBs should be taken. Maybe a fourth before six. Doesn’t leave many other picks.

Didn't they make a couple moves on the OL?   A lot of times getting rid of you weakest link and making it your strongest helps a lot.  The other issue with OL, is prospects don't always step in day 1 and dominate.    I don't think OL is guaranteed for Cincy. If I am the QB, I absolutely want my #1 target that I lit it up in college with .

Think it come to the position on the OL interior OL never gets valued that highly and tend to go in the middle rounds why you find gems there... Ts tend to hold the premium hence why lot of the best guys are higher picks. Then if you do find a gem in the later rounds at T they still cost like JP who we traded a 1st for to get.

Can play edge or OLB and does both pretty well

You are ATL, who are you drafting at 4?

I like Andre Cisco the S from Syracuse. He would really fit in our presumed Cover Two look perfectly.

Looks that way to me also and why we probably moved back
