According to the NFL Eagles and Cowpies have the easiest schedules this year.

Means pretty much nothing as teams change from year to year.

SOOO Kahlil Tate has a QB number but is listed on our roster as a WR-weird. he plays similar to Hurts, which is they the Flacco signing was a SMH moment. Perhaps he is here to teach them more about using the pocket instead of the "1 read and take off"(Hurts and Tate both do this) I suspect we will draft or snag another QB for competition

We have a bunch of young receiver talent. Might add another. Having some different QB throwing styles will help them develop.

Think it just helps with the fact he don’t have to drastically alter the O with Tate he same as Hurts... Where as With flacco you have to change half the offense especially with the ground game

Welp,I just hope those QB's can get the ball to them, that's the first issue for me. I'm hoping for a receiver who can top 500 yards(asking too much I suppose???)

yeah that's why I was SMH over the Flacco hire. But Siri has that experience I suppose with Rivers then Brisset who had differing styles. I'm hoping Flacco can teach Hurts how to go through his reads and process them instead of the 1 and run BS

SO is Kahlil a QB or WR??? (asking for a non existent friend)

This story has him at qb.

Philadelphia Eagles: Khalil Tate is back at quarterback (section215.com)

And it makes the point that wrs aren't allowed to wear single digits, and that Khalil is a Hurts clone.

So looks to me like we are going to let Pitts get away(I like the additional picks but.......) and make Ertz play his arse off here so he can score on his next contract(GL with that). I know Howie talks about a "QB factory" but really we tend to crank out TE's really well. Get more in here so we can trade them since we already have a TE factory going(Celek,Burton,Ertz,Goedert )

Yeah he's #6 but still listed as a WR on our roster. I was just wondering WHY. Yeah like I said they are both 1 read and run QB's

So we can try to change multiple QB's to WR, then back again, but we can't try out Dillard at ROG lmao. IDK why we keep trying to change QB's to WR's. Why not just get QB's and WR's??

This is what I’m expecting the O to be. Hurts getting out the pocket reading one side of the field nothing there take off and run.

Thinking early Cam in Carolina they did something similar.

At this point not expecting Hurts to win many games solely off his arm. If teams contain Hurts running to me the O struggles

Having Caff didn't hurt none either lol

Didn’t have Caff in cams early years did have a nice duo of Williams and Stewart

My understanding was, with the WR talent out there it would be nearly impossible to get him on a roster,so they are putting him back to the position he can maybe succeed in at some level

Didn’t say anything about when was he more of a threat though lol also had nothing to do with my original post which was our O being similar to what Carolina did early in Cam career for Hurts

NO, it's because the "odds" are better with the higher picks. Those "odds of success" drop incrementally every round (in theory). Occasionally you will find a DITR that slips through the cracks. Or you can scan for other teams PS releases because they may fit what you're doing better than the team that took them

GB, seems you missed my whole point.    I was referring to the high amount of players we get either on day 3 or UDFA.   Never mentioned percentage of success...or if those guys could be backups etc.

My point was, we have a few guys that stick as late round picks or UDFA, we assume that we have success there.   I was just saying a big factor is due to sheer quantity.

This year we have 4 picks at the moment on the first 2 days.   Let's say 50% success..  let's say 75%.   That's 2 or 3 guys.    With all the day 3 picks and UDFAs that will come through between the draft and the preseason... don't you think the odds are 4 or more of those guys will stick?    Does it mean we are good in those rounds or UDFA?  Idk, just know there is more opportunity there and that I haven't really seen a comparison to other NFL teams in this same category.

As happens with every successful team

Yes, but the success should be greater with the original team.    SF maintained success to a higher degree of the Walsh tree..  seems same with New England, Pittsburgh, Baltimore,  Green Bay...

I'm going to use our latest SB as the example.  We have a statue to 2 guys IMO... who were the example of the luck and all the outside things that go into winning.  The stuff Ham is going to write his future best seller about.   The guys in Indy IMO are the ones who did the heavy lifting and represent that talent part for me. The sustainable part.

The whole scenario where McDaniels turns the job down and Reich gets poached last minute, the offense goes to crap,  he proceeds to build a pretty good team but without a QB, we pay our stud QB, put him in the most brutal situation possible, and ship him off to Reich at a discount... to have a nice long successful career ... and both guys are locked in there, no place to poach Reich.  We get the understudy with the hope he is good, and a QB we hope can achieve mediocre level success in the league.

The top organizations never lose the better coach or put the stud player in such a brutal position.   Not this quickly.

I hope this coach turns out to be the real deal... because he is so young,  we could keep him for a really long time.  At that point,  once we get him a legit stud QB,  I hope we do better that we did for McNabb and Wentz.   Give me a great coach,  QB and #1 weapon for 8 to 10 years, we can fill in the rest , where success should be here, not elsewhere for any coaches that want to leave.

With the roster as it stands yeah alot of late picks will stick because our roster is BAD BAD BAD and it won't take alot to improve

But should be like that in general... simply due to the quantity of players from day 3 and UDFA.

Caff WASNT THERE!!! I’m looking at early Cam 2011-2013 things they did to make a young Cam successful... What year was Caff drafted???
