IDK because I don't know what we have. You can't book anything off last year

Right... but my point,  this year, the record means nothing.  We need to find young players for the future.   I don't care if the old guys get injured. Or if we win or lose, losing might actually be better in the big picture

Justin Fields and Trey Lance could be poised to fall... Sounding like top 3 QBs going to be Lawerence, Wilson, Mac.

Dont think ATL takes a QB at 4

Carolina just got Darnold they likely out on QB

Denver is possible though I’ve read reports they want to still with Lock(could just be smoke).

After Denver the next team is who??? NE maybe at 15 Washington at 19???

BTW.. . What does common sense tell you.   Wentz totally forgot how to play, and he was the issue...  but the crap that you just mentioned wasn't?

We have young WRs.  It was year 1, they have room to grow and learn.  They could be better.   So could the OL.  Just that last year it wasn't going to work with so many guys playing their first ever NFL snaps. And not going to work with guys practicing all week and then getting hurt during games.

The only thing I take from last year are the ages of the players.   Do we have young guys that might be able to play at certain spots.  They get their chance this year.

That's why we cleaned out the house Joe. There was enough finger pointing to go around. We still don't know if Hurts can play or not,not after 4 games. We still don't know if Dillard can play or Mailiata or if we have Kelces replacement on the roister. We don't know if we have a 1k yard receiver on this team, but we're going to find out this year

How did Mac move to QB 3? If Lance falls to 8,Carolina will have to think about it

I don’t know lot of reports saying that is the guy SF will take could be smoke I guess but sitting at #3 really no reason for a smokescreen when you know what the top 2 teams doing

I agree with you though Joe,that the old guys are expendable now

I suppose that's possible,if they think he is the best fit, just seems difficult for me to put him ahead of Lance

So if the top 3 picks go

Lawrence/Wilson/Mac

4-Pitts

5-Chase

6- Smith/Waddle wouldn’t be shocking here pair Tua with one of his former weapons from Bama

7- Other Bama WR or first OL

8- OL protect the new QB could be first D player as well top CB or Parsons

9-4th QB???? OL??? Slater could make some sense as well

10- CB Surtain maybe wouldn’t shock me if it was Horn here either

11- Think the best edge rusher Paye maybe if one of the OT falls could be an option as well.

12- Anyone’s guess lol 😂

I'll take Lance at 12, let Hurts play and have 3 round 1 picks next year lol

Just the way the draft is playing out seriously looks like Lance and Fields could fall. Lance might be slipping because of his lack of playing time only 1 year and 1 game(2020). Little shocked on Fields slipping so far though at one point he was the clear cut #2 guy now he might be QB5

Lot of talk on Mills and the A&M QB climbing as well could they overtake Fields????

1st round I would prefer either Parsons, Surtain or Horn

Second round- If they draft Parsons I would try for a CB here or Etienne, If they draft a CB I would draft Etienne or a WR

3rd round - If they drafted a LB in the first I go either CB or DT with my first pick and a WR with my second one, If they got a CB in the first, Draft /browning then RB or WR....

Dont' care after that...

We didn't really clean house.  I think the coach, the defensive coordinator and the QB all wanted out.   I don't really think Lurie had much choice, unless it was fire Howie.

Anyway, I don't think we find out everything this year.   If the vets on the OL stay healthy, and Herbig and Driscoll don't play, idk if that's good?   The WRs, if Hurts runs a lot and we don't get too much into the route tree, will we really find out about the WRs?

Idk...  the kid in Baltimore, the WR, can he play or not?  With Jackson running all the time it's hard to evaluate?

It's why I think it will take some time with this team to truly evaluate everything.  In the meantime,  just add players and elements that we need regardless.  The defense needs a lot of help!

Is this horse dead yet?

Since 2014 we have spent

2 first round picks

2 2nd round picks

3rd round pick

4th round pick

2 5th rounders

6th rounder

we have used 5 premium picks(to me that’s top 3 rounds) at WR in the last 6 years and we got nothing to show for it

Mills is on my mock lol,but hey if Lance is there that opens up another spot

I think Horn then Etienne makes good sense, then I get my WR and a LB in 3. I have Wallace, but could be others there. I have WR in 3 and my LB in 5,but he is a sleeper and I suspect he moves up shortly. One could opt for a LB with the first 3 and a WR with the 2nd 3 and hope there are some linemen hanging around. I think though I will remove Mills from my mock, because I believe we are going QB next year(which makes Hurts the BU). So that would be "new guy"/Hurts competing to start and picking up a 3rd QB isn't too awfully tough to do,so I will go back to my original premise that we take a UDFA QB, because we need more positions filled besides that one and a UDFA QB or 2 costs little

Big difference there,Joe, Balt already knows what they have in Jackson, we DONT know what we have in Hurts yet.We can evaluate it all after this season, but 4 games is too small of a sampling. I mean give him a solid consistent O line, maybe he shines? Add a RB to the backfield. Or maybe it proves he can't cut the mustard(why we brought Flacco in and pretty much got into position for a QB next year right?).Your right records don't matter, what matters is evaluating these young players and getting it right this time and not letting good guys go that we invested time in

Add in the failed FA's we bring in(Tate,Alshon,Djax to mention a few) LOL

And Duce too. So although we didnt clean house, they cleaned it for us lol

LOL yo 93. This would be interesting if Lance fell to 12. We could squeeze the Pats bigly and trade back to 15 😀 SO would you trade the 12 pick to the Pats for their 15, pick 96(late 3rd) and a late 2022 pick??? HMMMM

BTW Elliotts numbers tanked last year also. previous seasons he was at over 80%(83-3-84.3 roughly). That fell off to 77% last year. If we can't move the chains and we can't kick FG's it's going to be an extra long season

Can you call Alshon a fail??? Huge part of the SB winning team Howie failure on the contract...Tate was just a dumb trade but not a bad player we just used wrong.... Djax made no sense from the get go that was a fail
