IDK everyone said Smith was "too light" Waddle is only 5 pounds heavier. Both are on the light/slim side. I'm holding out for Tylan Wallace in round 3

BTW Elliott better pick it up. His norm was around 83-84% Last year he dropped to 77% so we even failed at kicking lol

He also like 3 inches shorter... 5’10 185 vs what 6’1 175.... Both are on the smaller side though rather get a bigger WR

Been looking for day 3 or later RB's. Know Siri's said he wants a better running game and guys who get yac, not statues. Could this be an option?

I have Etienne penciled in in round 2

Well, I really want Surtain or Horn at #12. If both are gone I would take Parsons and then grab a CB in round 2-3....

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/tylan-wallace-nfl-draft-profile-oklahoma-state-wide-receiver/  Same build as some others that will go in 1

What if lance is there at 12? Dullaz(at least the board fans) are all in on Surtain

I have Horn at 12,but IDK what I would do if lance fell to us

I suspect I would have to take Lance and settle for a round 2 which isnt the end of the world since about anyone would be an improvement

Newsome(possibly) Campbell, Stokes, Samuel all should go in 2

Waddle has that double move elusiveness and great speed burst. Still not sure in this WR class if it's the best move at 12. Really will depend on who falls to us.

I read that the Interior O-Line is deep this year. So maybe Gb is right and we draft future CEnter around 4-5? Maybe draft one that is more than capable of also playing guard so we have two positions backed up?

IDK, I got bashed for that lol. Apparently we have that guy already on our roster?? I would like to see him play at C if possible, because I have no clue who is waiting to take over. I guess that's what Juriga is for?

Here is one projection of the top 10.

Chad Forbes on Twitter: "Projection.. Lawrence Wilson Fields or Lance 4-6 Pitts, Sewell & Chase Mac Jones (Trade Up) Darrisaw or Slater Fields / Lance (one that doesn’t go 4) Surtain Giants at 11 will have choice of Bama WRs, potentially Slater or Pass Rusher 1." / Twitter

He also had this to say about OT.

Chad Forbes on Twitter: "Say #Chargers don’t view Slater or Vera-Tucker as Tackles. Must consider trading up to 4 for Sewell or potentially into 7 for Darrisaw. Lions will want to slide down. Not going QB, can get WR at 13 (or in Rd2). Hearing a quiet Lions do like Darrisaw. Especially John Dorsey..." / Twitter

The Chargers trading up to 4 makes a ton of sense to me. For one, they need a tackle. It's no good hitting on a qb if you can't protect him. And waiting seems risky because a lot of teams behind them also need oline help who could jump in front of them at 13. Atlanta wants to trade back, and there's a 700 point difference between 4 and 13, so a first next year should do it. It seems like a good deal for both teams.

With that in mind, I think the draft goes Lawrence, Wilson, Jones, Sewell, Chase, Pitts. The Lions seem to like Darrisaw, so pencil him in at 7. The Panthers take Surtain, the Broncos take Fields and the Cowboys take Horn. The Giants take Slater or a pass rusher, so we have our choice of Waddle, Smith, unless the Lions take one of them, in which case we just draft the remaining guy.

OK, so I want to throw this out there:

Knowing Howie and Lurie like we do, what is your worst nightmare for the pick at #12? Chances are one of us will nail this. Here is mine:

Howie and Lurie have all 3 CB's ranked close on the board. Surtain, Horn and Farley. So 2 of them go before the Eagles pick. No one wants to trade down so the Eagles draft Farley at 12!  then you hear from the Eagles that he was on their radar all along. They felt he was the best CB on the board and were fortunate to get him. PS comes around and he goes on IR.....

Worst case scenario.     Which I think the pick likely going to happen,  but who knows how the player actually  turns out.

They will draft either OL or DL that you all and everyone else has projected to go like 25-30.    Then he plays like a guy that should have been a 4th round pick.

On the flip side this could turn out to be great decision when we look back 3 years from now?   But I think a linemen with first pick... and they pass on the PSU LB who turns out to be a 5-7 time pro bowler.

Don't see it,but if thats how it goes Parsons is there at 12 as well as lance ,Fields(cause I dont see Denver taking a QB) and Paye, so have more than 2 WR's to choose from

Carolina's LB's were 6th worse in the NFL last year. But if they do not resign Douglas, I could see them going for CB. If they do, I would think Parsons is the pick at 8.....

Why? Pitts would be awesome for them

Adam Caplan is convinced they will take a corner, and he seems pretty plugged in to what teams are doing. It makes sense to me. Surtain seems like less of a risk than Parsons.

Dullaz wants Surtain(badly),they could trade up with Detroit ahead of Carolina

Well, I don't see Chargers giving away a #1 pick to take Sewell over Tucker. Just does not make sense to me. Tucker is solid and will be fine once he adds some weight. #1 picks you trade for QB's not Tackles....

On top of all this... look at a few of these guys not even playing football last year.  It's odd times for sure.

Teams trade #1 picks for tackles all the time. We did to get Peters. Tunsil was worth two #1 picks.

Sewell is apparently a prospect on that level.
