It's all good analysis.  Bigger point... with Pollard in there and the OL getting back, it's easy to see him being an issue for 5 or so years.   75% of Zeke is still a good football player.  I don't think their offense will need to rely on him as it did early on either.  Basically they aren't going away any time soon.  And I think they are 3rd behind NY and Wash.

Think your higher on Pollard then me.... Zeke again looked like a shell of himself last year maybe he rebounds maybe with a lessen load he returns to form not sure

Well he's cheap and as 93 pointed out, he can pass block,so it's not the end of the world here and frankly everyone looked bad last year

He can pass block... as a #3 RB how much does he play, and does it mean not having Sanders and Scott out there as receiving options?

IDK maybe be beats out Scott for the 2???? It at least gives us more play call options with this running style QB I would think

It's a tricky line where we are now in my view. At what point do you trade back and give up a difference maker in the draft??? I mean we could trade out of round 1 altogether and get 5 more picks if you want 5 more "mediocre/ WIP/ BU's". And IDK, if Pitts got past the Fins, I would think we could move up to 8 in front of Dullaz because A) Pitts can play and B) I dont want to have to defend against him twice a year(either in Dullaz or NY), so there is that little bonus issue of not letting a division rival have a top player they can use against you  and at 12 Carolina could still be in position for a QB if they wanted one. A move up to 4 would make sense if Pitts is the guy we want

My man, once Pitts gets selected,  where ever it is.  For you it will be like Santa on December 26.

Just saying I can't rule that move out can you?

Or getting the starters back on the OL.  Which is why I don't see total disaster for the Eagles this year as much as I could see the drop off the following season(s) as the older guys leave.  The QB for them also was an issue.

I was just looking at Zeke himself he didn’t seem at explosive as couple years ago. Could have just been the down year team not going anywhere and the lack of OL sure. But he just didn’t seem the same.

idk before I seen the boys O went with Zeke that to me seems to be shifting

Yeah, I don't see going back then going up..  not for a skill guy.   I think DL, OL, CB ...  and I think they would prefer to swap with New England as best case, and Washington 2nd best case scenario.

You look at it linear, like it's automatic the player gets worse or not as good as the draft continues.  It's reasonable that a player at 15 or 19 could be better than the guy selected at 12.   I absolutely think that the Eagles would love to move down a little if it gets them a day 2 pick.   Idk why you seem so against it?

Also just to get GB blood boiling been reports that Jerry loves Pitts and is willing to move up to get him.

I think Pitts goes at 4,just saying it would be interesting. Moving back is fine, until you take your self out of getting a top tier player. For once we were in a position to get a top 10 pick, now we are trading back to where we usually pick anyway, but the farther back you move, the less you are going to get that difference making player. if  that guy is there at pick 32,then trade all the way back lol

I agree... but the bar was so high... both his play and his role early on.   I was trying to point out that he shouldn't have to carry the load, both due to development of the passing game, and yeah I think Pollard is good.  I have Zeke in a keeper league,  so Pollard to me , I needed to see him look bad, he was getting better as the season went on.  He's legit and should get a bigger role going forward until they lose him in FA.

Good thing with this draft with so many QBs(especially if 4 or even 5) going we should still likely land a top 10 talent even at 12...Plus the added draft capital for next year

LOL remarakble how Lance just fell from grace from pick4-5 to where he could still be there at 12

Lance was always at best the 4th QB... The biggest shock to me seems to be the rise of Mac Jones especially if he is the 3rd pick to SF.

Also the complete fall of Fields went from possibly the 1B to Lawerance to #2 now he might be the 5th QB

Yeah pretty weird, usually guys are fairly well set in the lineup by now. But some of these FA/trade deals mixed that up

So wondering now what happens with Bridgewater. Could see him in DC since not sure they have the draft cap to make a major move up..Bears too

I just think you look at it wrong.  One player being a difference maker.   It's not basketball,  one player turning around a team going in the wrong direction.   There is a lot of work to do.   You will still be watching the draft after the first pick.

And I bring up again... looking at 2 things..  Lane could be the only pro bowler drafted since 1st round of 2013 ( once Ertz leaves)  that is bad, but is it as bad as ...Lane , Seumalo and Barnett) being the only 3 guys left on the roster from 2013- 2017 drafts?

I think the bigger issue lies in the 2nd part. We know Lane is a difference maker, we see the record when he is in or out of the lineup.   That's one guy.  Would it be nice to get that, absolutely it would.  But my concern is more of getting multiple players that can stick and help.

Two interesting things from yesterday - Carolina signing a corner and Dallas apparently infatuated with Pitts.

Atlanta seems almost certain to trade out of four, and Dallas makes sense. This would be great for us since it would be such a dumb move by the Cowboys, and also that the Falcons desperately need a pass rusher, so they may grab Kwitty Paye. There is a plausible scenario that Surtain falls into our laps, which would be ideal. Atlanta might take him, but they have invested first and second round picks in their starting corners, and Steven Means is their best DE, so they may need to reach for a guy and Paye checks a lot of boxes. He may not be a hall of famer, but he appears to be a pretty safe option. Carolina no longer needs a corner, so it puts us in a good spot.

So that must be why Dullaz traded back instead of taking Zeke,or the Gnats should have traded back instead of taking Barkley

I mean if your Dallas you might just become the most deadly O in the NFL.

Already a strong trio of WRs good OL, Dak and RB duo of Zeke/Pollard. If Pitts is even half of what’s advertised how do you guard everyone for them???

Defense would be hurting but if they can just be a bend don’t break unit would be enough with that high powered O

They letting him seek a trade I believe right??? Not sure DC would take him not with Fitz... Interesting one I think could be Minnesota wouldn’t shock me if he wants to return and Kirk has been meh could be a good competition between the two

WHy I am still holding on that we could move up to 8 and steal him,if he got past Miami

Yeah true, but a nice BU to Fitz in the event Fitz tanks. he would also be a better option in Chicago
