So that must be why Dullaz traded back instead of taking Zeke,or the Gnats should have traded back instead of taking Barkley

So are you using those organizations as the models to follow?

Why did New England drop a bunch of years in the draft and have a lot of success.  2nd round picks did pretty well for them?

But let me ask you... run a mock.   Pick 12 and pick 15 ... then go and add a player I'm the middle of the 2nd round to player 15.    You know these guys, you do enough mocks.

Which looks better for the Eagles... the player at 12 or the 2 other guys?

Because the numbers no longer matter once the picks are made... it's all about the players at that point.

Which looks better?

Yeah true, but a nice BU to Fitz in the event Fitz tanks. he would also be a better option in Chicago

I’d agree on Chicago but they apparently promised the job to Dalton... I’d say NO but not sure Carolina would want to trade him within the division.

Depends on the picks, and right now I have little confidence in Howie. We could have 5 round 1's and Howie could screw it up. AT pick 6 you can pretty much throw a dart at a board and hit a nice player. Are 15 round 6 picks going to make this team better??

Everyone is infatuated with Pitts. GB is also

Dude is a stud.  He should go 4 to ATL.

You do your mock like you were picking.  The Howie excuse doesn't fly for me... pick 12 or 15, he can easily screw up both equally.   In that event, better to have another pick.

But what do you come up with doing it yourself?

Agreed

Denver getting Teddy could play in favor of teams like NE in Washington that might be looking to draft a QB... Could mean Fields and Lance falls pretty far

I have Horn at 12 now.If I move back even to 15,I doubt he gets past the Chargers and the Vikes,so I have taken myself out of getting that player. AT 15 IDK I would have to see who is there

If Dallas can’t get Pitts wouldn’t shock me if they went Horn he would seem like a Jerry pick

At 15 I see a variety of edge rushers. DO we really want to give up the last top tier CB prospect for another edge rusher?

If the Eagles history is taken into account yes this would be there preference. And it gives them the excuse of we got more draft picks and still drafted the best player on the board at 15 at the position we value most

No longer a prospect or a pick #... once a player is drafted they are just a player for a team.

Go pick a guy at 15 and then either 46 or 51.

Or take your Kelce replacement with the other pick and now free yourself up to change your mock and go different where you originally had that C.

First question I asked you guys a couple months ago...  where were the top DL projected to go, it's absolutely the Eagles method and why I have always thought they go this DL as the highest probability with that first pick.

Welp, thats why we are a .500 club lol

I will say.. at this point,  I suspect that if the Eagles trade pick 12, it will be done while they are on the clock. At minimum Denver will have to pick first at 9.

Once again it depends on the players. Whats sad to me is people on this board can pick players(in any round) better than the FO that makes the big bucks 15 round 6's aren't going to make this team contend

Once again... please do a mock and see.

with just the move to 15? or the move up to 8(assuming Pitts gets that far)? and in either case give me the # pick acquired or given

Horn.

Vs 15 and either 46 or 51.

Or take your top DL at 15, CB at 37... Kelce replacement or whatever at 46-51 and see how that changes your draft.

If you want Pitts... do it by taking away pick 37.

Compare all the drafts... what do you like?

Just  quickie trading back to 15           1-15-Kwitty Paye_Edge(or Rousseau also edge)   2-37 marshall-WR  46(theoretical pick) Onwzurike-DL-Washinton 3-70 Kelvin Joseph-CB-Kentucky. SO IDK,Pitts is a guy that can affect your whole offense. What that value is worth IDK/ Maybe it's worth giving up 37? Conjecture either way

BTW there are other options/order,just did a quick one, so I can't say I like one better than the other in the move up/down. I just hope we know what we're doing and frankly there isn't a confident track record of doing that

A good breakdown of Missouri LB Nick Bolton, who is an option for us at 37.

Mizzou LB Nick Bolton Film Breakdown - YouTube

This video shows why drafting is so difficult. Bolton is a solid prospect, and certainly worth the 37th pick. But he also has flaws in his game that he needs to clean up, and there is always a chance that he never gets better at them. The video also has a good look at Dickerson just blowing an easy block at the second level.

Both guys are going to get drafted late first, early second, and both have serious flaws in their game that jump off the tape. If nothing else, this video shows why drafting is such a crapshoot.

No player is perfect the job of the coaches is to highlight the player strengths and put them in positions to succeed.  Correct some flaws make players better.

Off the subject. My Ex is screwing me. Just found out she is not retiring when she reaches full retirement age next January and wants me to pay alimony all next year. This after paying over $25,000 so both of our daughters could get married and $5000 for my son's rehearsal Dinner. All while she did squat. So now she wants me to dish out $7200 so she can collect 8% more each month? She needs to wait 12.5 years for that to actually pay off as she forgoes 1 year's SS for a 8% increase?  Sorry, but this guy is pissed off!

OK I feel better now   Carry on........
