At the time it didn't, but like I said we would have had to go find 2 FA QB's if Hurts wasn't around. If Wentz is too scared of competition, I'm glad he's gone He had Djax and Alshon a few games, didn;t seem to help him much, so still say one guy would not have changed much. Wentz would still be tossing picks and taking sacks no matter who the WR's were. And BTW it was cheaper to draft a BU QB to Wentz than it would be to pay another FA BU

Idk a WR who actually get open could make a world of difference or WRs that actually catch the ball. A War could have changed a ton

SO, would Wentz have had conniption fits if we had picked up Flacco last year? Gotta have  BU and he should know that

I don’t think Wentz was scared of competition think Wentz was pushed a out the stupidity of the FO.... And there lack of ability to put a team together.

The hurts pick was literally the worst pick ever in the history of Howie roseman. Doesn’t mean I think he will be a bad player but the pick was terrible

have you been here for the last month or so?

Yes but have been popping in less and less.  Just seems to be getting worse.  😕

Ed Kracz on Twitter: "I’m a violent edge. I got the length so I can stress them with quickness, and I’m big enough to bull rush them. I have a lot of versatility." Could Payton Turner be in #Eagles plans? He has talked to them, he said, at least three times. Here's more: https://t.co/V3mXFxP2LG" / Twitter

This is an interesting kid who may be an edge rusher they take in the third round.

The one thing about this draft is that there are talented players at the team's top positions of need (LB, CB, WR, Edge) in each round.

For example

Edge 1. Paye 2. Basham 3. Turner 4. Jordan Smith

Corner 1. Horn 2. Stokes 3. Adebo 4. St. Juste

WR 1. Waddle 2. Moore 3. Brown 4. Wallace

LB 1. Parsons 2. Bolton 3. Moses 4. McGrone

Obviously it's a crap shoot on whether those guys will be there. But it would be easy to do a mock draft where your first four picks would come from that pool of 16 players, and would vastly improve the team.

Sounds like a target to me. More round 3 than 2,but who knows?

Horn,Bolton,Wallace,Turner(in that order) would be a great draft start IMO

Believe he already did. All he has to do now is draft a few good players. We have arguably the best draft ammo of just about anyone.

That's fine and dandy. I'd like to see all of these picks amount to something. Don't agree with hiring Watson either.

What single season franchise record gets broken first by the addition of a seventeenth game?

Valid question Ham. But to me it shouldn't count towards what real football players did in history with 14-16 games.

OK fans,try this mock   1-12-Horn(CB), 2-37 Bolton(LB), 3-70 Wallace(WR) 3-84-Turner(Edge) 4-123 Sermon(RB) 5-143- Green(IOL) 6-188-Yeboah(TE) 6-223-Newman(QB) 6 224-Grimes(WR) 7-233- Johnson(DL) 7 -238- Ball(OT) If you wanted to move Turner to pick 70, then a guy like Amari Rodgers could be had at 84 IMO(still he's not chopped liver)

I love it too. As long as they know how to play within the rules. For instance - D forces a TO and this player causes a multitude of Unsportsmanlike penalties which cause the TO (especially pick 6) to be withdrawn, D stays on the field, then opposing O scores 6.

Legit point. But he’s talking about attacking these moving mountains we call Oline. Coming at them violently. He can beat them around the edge, use his long arms or straight bull rush. He talks a good game. I’m intrigued. He has the physical skill and measurables to potentially back it up also.

LOVE IT! We can always use more players with heart like that.

Eagles' draft succes in the past 10 years, according to PFF: - WR: 2nd worst - DBs: 3rd worst - DL: 5th best - TE: best #Eagles   Kind of tells the tale here

We have staff,we need "controlled anger/violence" I'm all for intimidation on the field

Washington supposedly loves Lance. Fitz  being a mentor for him makes plenty of sense.

I'm with ya

If we need a 3rd string TE or possible backup Thaddeus Moss got released by the skins... Could be worth a look

Not much else to talk about for the next few weeks. Happens every year, you should know that. No news coming out hardly,so we re hash old hash

Alot will hinge on what ATL and Denver do. IDK that either aren't looking at QB. Would make sense ATL could pass and take Pitts,  IDK that Denver is all that pleased with their QB either and Carolina having faith in Darnold isn't really a given. Pats want a QB I think,so the Wuss have all that to deal with

I thought Rodgers looked pretty solid last year.  I’d consider bringing him back as #2 assuming we move Ertz and then drafting a TE on day 3 to serve as #3 and move to #2 next year.

I’m alright if we decide to bring Rodgers back as a backup for a year was just looking at some possible younger options... Thaddeus was pretty high on my UdFa board lol thought he showed ton of promise
