IF CHASE IS THERE WHEN EAGLES ON THE CLOCK

What's the approx percentage of possibility you feel of this happening? No wrong answer, just looking for opinions. LOL I have no clue but interested.

I'd think minimal (say 5-10% at best).  It is hard to say anything with certainty (i.e. saying "zero") - crazy things happen all the time during these things.  Four possibly 5 QBs will go ahead of us.  Pitts seems likely.  Perhaps a couple OL.  Maybe a DL.  Probably Parsons.

I could also see a scenario where Howie moves up if he really wanted to take him.  If he wanted to go to 8 it would likely take only our later 3rd rd pick (#84) and our 5th rd (150).

So while it is likely we won't get Chase, I wouldn't say it is definite.  :-)

Sure, but who will be willing to sell the farm to make the move to 4?

Could Detroit be looking for a QB?  Hard to know if they view Goff as a long term solution (would you?  haha).  It wouldn't take them the "farm" to move from 7 to 4.  Can say the same about Denver from 9 (it wouldn't take more than their 2nd).

Of course anything is possible. I think Detroit will see what they have with all the new pieces they placed. Denver is possible, but they could probably get a QB where they are. I was talking more like the teams that did patchwork, like the Wuss and the Pats(post Brady). I think those teams would be more prone to look for their future, but sure Denver could pull a Jets/ Darnold move lol

Detroit should be willing to roll with Goff for two more years. They have two first rounders next year and two in 2023, so they will have ample time to get a qb. Their draft strategy is pretty clear. Draft a WR and OT in the first and second, then add to the defense.

Never said that, what I meant is can't,you see the double standard???? I was being sarcastic which you missed

What double standard???? At one point did I say Mills is the future of ATL??? They are going to want to try and groom someone in ATL I don’t think they want to do that at 4 so I’d look in the middle rounds for a guy with potential.

I never believe in Jalen Hurts didn’t like him coming out of college didn’t do anything for me in his 4 games not impressed or a believer in him. As I stated before I 100% hope he proves me wrong but don’t see it.

Has nothing to do with the round of the QB it’s opinion on the player

This obsession or the mindset of Wentz.. it seems I miss the issue that everyone concerns themselves about.  I think he bailed on an absolutely pathetic team that was in place for 2 years.  Everyone seems to think he was concerned with Hurts,  the guy with a slow pitch softball secondbaseman type arm.   Idk, I just look at it if it were me....I would say F#$@ you to any organization that seems to try to make me want to fail... putting nothing around me and trying to blame me for losing.  I would want to go play real football with Indy and leave the soap opera behind if it were me.

Again, I think we just wait and see. No need to talk now.  In a year it will all show itself.

QBs that miraculously learn how to play in 2021... Wentz, Daniel Jones and Jamies Winston.    The NFC Least will have one team under .500 The green team.

The heads up the arse will figure it out soon enough.

Mindset isn’t me thinking oh the competition when I say it was thinking more on the lines Wentz isn’t pissed at the FO and they actually land him some help mindset that part of the big falling out between the sides

If they draft a QB in the first 3 rounds look to the west, you'll see a mushroom cloud.

Unless we go into bizarro world and Lawrence is still there

Wouldn’t shock me if we draft a QB in the first 3 rounds. Though this article makes it feel like we looking more for a trade down again at least that’s what I got from it

I'd expect them to trade down again more than to trade up

This the problem this would be what we expected Howie never does that lmao

Most runs of 50+ yards since 2019

Nick Chubb - 5

Derrick Henry - 5

Miles Sanders - 5

I have no clue what ATL wants to do,neither do you. Round 2 QB's all stink, it's pointless to take one. Round 2 at any other position is fine, just not at QB. No possible way Hurts could succeed cause he a round 2 QB, so there is no reason for us to field a team.Just forfeit or start Flacco until we get a round 1 QB. Whether you "like or believe" in him is immaterial. And as I said some teams do "stupid" things and actually plan ahead for their QB replacement

Your the one making a point about the round of the QB not me lmao.

Also never stated I know what ATl will do stated my OPINION on what I think they want which is not a QB at 4

The hurts pick was literally the worst pick ever in the history of Howie roseman. Doesn’t mean I think he will be a bad player but the pick was terrible

SO is he a bad or good player that you don't believe in? Unfortunately,he is your starting QB either way. And I disagree, MS2 was the worst pick by FAR

I don’t care lmao think whatever you like

I tend to agree too. We voluntarily removed ourselves from the Pitts/Chase/possible QB pool. Seems to me the strategy is to not only get more picks, but let the other teams battle it out and snap up the guy thats left behind. And now with coaches seemingly second guessing if Chase is the top WR,there is a chance(albeit SLIM) he could fall to 12. At 12 there are a bevy of nice linemen,so could easily see that although I would opt for Horn.

A look at some Travis Fulgham routes.

Travis Fulgham has what Nick Sirianni wants from a WR - YouTube

There was some good route running there. But here is a video from the Giants game where he struggled.

Philadelphia Eagles, What Happen To Travis Fulgham Vs Giants?? - YouTube

You can see that he was asked to run 15 yard out patterns and deep curls over and over again, and the defense adjusted. His routes were fine, it's just that the other team seemed to know what was coming. If you stop the video on the 8:27 mark, we have three guys all on the 50 yard line, 20 yards from the qb. At the 7:07 mark, three wrs on the 40, 20 yards from the qb. At  the 6:13 mark, the same thing. And we saw that over and over again. No creativity in the passing game.

I think Siriani will really help in that regard, and Fulgham will be really successful.

Agree... plus I think how Jenkins and Ertz were treated on the way out... and more importantly not having any faith it will get any better any time soon.  Why waste another few years instead of actually competing for something.

This team does not have success drafting WRs but they have drafted them highly as of late.  Somebody help Howie. He clearly needs help!

He just needs to chew on this board!

Right.. it's why it's easy to see trading the pick we used for Reagor....to get an already established no-brainer WR like Diggs was easily the right move at WR.

I'm hoping they don't draft a WR until day 3 if at all.   That's where I would spend the money in a year or 2.

Could do worse than Lawlor's latest mock;

http://igglesblitz.com/author/admin/

Depending on who falls to us, it could be Waddle - NP. The Eagles are ( for now ) behind Hurts succeeding, so giving him another weapon would be in the cards. Do believe there's a pretty big dropoff bet 1st & 2nd rd CB's.
