Lmao wow I think I have literally just seen the dumbest trade scenario ever.

They had us trading back up to 6 giving up 12 a first next year and Barnett.

Why would we have traded out of 6 if we were just going to give up more to get back that selection

I mean... Have you met our GM?

Our GM is a moron in terms of picking players but he is pretty good at trades.

Why wouldn't you want that? It seems like a fantastic draft to me.

Would prefer...

CB Horn
LB Davis/Browning
DE Turner/Perkins
WR Collins

I'd like to see the Eagles get legit players at CB and LB for once.

But it won't happen.

I offer trading with the Titans. We move back from 12. Trade with Tennessee for example. We would get Pick 22,Pick 85 and 126. We would get the Titans first, third and fourth round picks.

That would give us 22, 37, 70, 84, 85, 123 and 126. Infuse the team with seven players from which I’d judge the meat of a potentially strong draft class.

Because we moved up from 156 to 123 .... that's a game changer

It seemed like Fulgham got figured out a little bit there. I thought he gave up some reps because of that. Guy’s got plenty of growing to still do.
As far as the playcalling: sure...I can always nitpick. But you have to understand that with the inexperienced Oline(no time for the five started to even gel) and inexperienced WR....the playbook was narrowed down. Probably tried to implement a set of plays each week in the gameplan they actually run through in practice during the week. So those core ‘matchup plays’ were repeated in a given week. Pretty usual. Maybe overused a bit out of necessity from all the inexperience.

Which run plays were " overused " ?

LMAO welp,we can use the next 2 weeks to run through every trade scenario there is but this is even more insane than the 500 mocks I put up. There is zero way you can gauge what teams will trade, nor what they will give you,and once again the farther away you get from the 1 pick, the less chances you have of finding an impact player, unless of course your goal is a roster full of mediocrity and if we're posturing for a QB next year, you'd better start getting some impact players in here and I don;t care at what position. Why not move out of rounds 1,2 and 3 and get 40 picks in round 6? At some point you need to get the talent in here and the farther you fall back, the less likely that becomes

LB and CB are 2 we rarely value, especially LB,so I am looking at Howie to hopefully buck at least 1 trend. Horn, Onwuzurike-DL, Wallace-WR Turner-Edge,Rice-Mike LB, Green-IOL, then maybe Kylin Hill at RB

Not enough.  Terrible trade.  Their 2nd and 4th ... sure.  That's about the right value for that 12th pick.

Tennessee needs players too what would move them to give all these picks away?

I think you need to find the team that wants the remaining QB(s) bad enough in order for them to move up.   It's why I am looking at New England or Washington... staying at 15 or 19, but getting the 2nd rounder.

This is where I am at now as well after having moved to 12.  At 6 I thought we could get a game changer like Chase but between 12 and 19 the talent is likely close.  I'd be all in on moving down some ... 15 or 19 would be perfect landing spots if we could get an extra 2nd.  That would be a prime spot to take Bateman then.  He is my 2nd favorite receiver in this draft for what our needs are ... I think he'd be a perfect fit at XWR for us.

Thank goodness we didn’t overuse Sanders.

The more shots you take the better chance you get at bringing in the impact players. I believe we need a massive youth infusion. So adding a third and fourth round pick to slide back ten spots seems wise to me.

You guys are on opposite sides here. I think it’s probably worth while for us to make that move...,partly because the guy we take at 12 will probably still be around at 22 anyway. Not sure what massive dropoff in talent occurs between the two spots?

I’m thinking we can move back and still get our Dline guy. Where does the best pass rusher in this class go? Azeez Olujari I believe to be that guy. The other option is taking the best DT in Barmore. I’m thinking you can get at least one ....if not have your choice of either by trading back a bit.

So if we get the best pass rusher or best DT and add a third and fourth rounder .....to me that’s a win.

At 37 add one of the Georgia CB

As stated in a separate post, I am not against trading back some.  It just has to make sense from a value perspective (I don't think Tennessee's 3rd and 4th are enough to move down 10 spots).  What may interest me more is their 2021 3rd and 2022 2nd.  I'd love to add another day 2 pick next year - we already have 11 picks this year I don't see how we add more players than that.  In fact I'll be surprised if we don't end up with just 9 max because of using some to trade up here and there.

Sidney couldn’t even play his rookie season. Farley it’s been said is on his way to being cleared for Training Camp.

Ham, we obviously have different views here. I am sick of drafting players with injury history, only to see them go on IR. Or worse yet, not even play this year and get injured the following year. So now you have to wait until year three to see what you have. You saw the quote I copied for an article. Elite Football players coming back from this type of injury typically have 2.7-4.6 years. So, you want to spend a 1st round pick on someone who will not last the contract? Add a ACL to the equation. Sorry, I pass. You like it. I agree to disagree.....

Saying that Howie probably jumps on this guy..............

I'm with you on this.  The draft is a big enough of a crap shoot as it is now ... finding a player that works out seems hard enough (especially for this organization) ... why compound the problem by taking a chance on a player with yet one more thing against him?
