This is going to be a long year. Those of you expecting 8 wins are in for a huge let down. At this point matching last year's win total should be a goal. That is if Hurts performs well. If he doesn't we will be easily in the top 5 of next year's draft.... I guess that is a good thing if you are looking for a QB.....

IDK to me the HC is not the developmental guy. He's not the "hands on" guy. It's the staff under him that should do those jobs. The HC is the leader, the organizer, the guy that takes the heat,but IMO the OC,DC and those minions under them are the key cogs in the developmental process. Agree partly. A HC has to be a hands on guy though. He should be everywhere teaching the players as well as the assistants. Ever look at how Parcells and Belicheck coach? They are constantly teaching at practice, in meetings and one on one during the games.

I want Kelce's replacement. Some feel that he is already on the roster. I don't feel that way. Really we need to know about Mailiata and Dillard and IDK that Siri has had all that much time to evaluate them. D line needs a youth injection to get them prepped to take the reins later. Also need to know what we think about barnett

Yeah a HC should teach his OC/DC and let them teach the players. Not saying the HC shouldn't be involved, but the main load/heavy lifting of development should, fall on the OC and DC. There is no need for the HC to be present to count bench reps in the weight room

What did we think w/ the Siri. Howie boy wanted a yes man - sounds like he got it.

Even w/ all of this I'm not giving up on the season - it could be what most expect or a pleasant surprise

Missed picks like those are what I'm waiting to see in this draft - does HR use a consensus board or his own? If it seems like it's his own I'm sticking a fork it right away. If he goes by consensus, there's hope.

Should anyone keep their job with his results? What's it say about Lurie not holding HR responsible? We'll see if there are corrections this draft. I would have held HR accountable and gotten a new GM. Lurie himself is now accountable for not doing so.

The issue is Laurie is likely involved in the process of how Howie got those top 50 players. He agrees with him. 

We'll see next week. At least I'll know whether I'm going to become an actual fan again or simply a casual observer as I've been since this fiasco's begun.

correct, Lurie tells Howie if he likes someone and Howie gets that Person. Now Lurie's son and his college friend are involved... A real mess....
