Wentz had a bad year but before that played extremely well if anything 2020 was an outlier not the norm... Jimmy G had been mediocre and injured his entire stint with SF

Great...and fair point. That’s on Schwartz scheme. Well and....no one talks about the players and draftees. Rosie really screwed things up for the D. Invested everything in the O. But the Taylor’s, Jones and many many S....got us nowhere. Even Schwartz couldn’t make that work. He could have protected them more. Pretty much put the Corners in a terrible position. Just his style. But with our terrible CB personnel.....that just want going to work. His default to Darby, Mills, Maddox...was all bad decisions. I mean really? Did any of us feel comfortable with Maddox being the front runner for lead outside corner? I’ll answer. Heck no! Moved from S to Slay....but come on...we all saw that coming. I’m not even hating on Maddox. I think he could be great as a deep S. Who to blame for that? Pretty much feeling Rosie and Schwartz.

I actually think the problem is everybody knows it’s all going according to Rosie. But now we understand that Rosie is kind of just the voice of Lurie. Kind of hard for any coaches to lead from behind. But I also think it’s become very clear Rosie is the guy(chants coming at Baseball games). But to be fair....Rosie hasn’t had much draft capital. So he’s screwed up....but with limited ammo. Mostly his own fault for trading  for Avery....Tate.....you know. But I have to feel like he’s all about surviving at least. Had his best season as a GM after he was booted. He has to know his neck is on the line now. I gotta bet on him to succeed. What choice we got? We Eagles fans! Nothing going to change that for me. I’ve suffered endlessly. We all have. I’m not bailing now. Just can’t. Too invested. Live or die....E-A-G-L-E-S!

What was Wentz norm? That’s very debatable. Extremely  well I don’t think fits. He had ups and downs. I wanted to go all in on him. First one to admit I’m guilty. But....oh you know that was coming.....I’d have to say 2017 season was the outlier actually. You can’t convince me he played EXTREMELY well other than 2020. Not believable.

Actually I thought Garrapolo has been very good ....when healthy. Big caveat. He didn’t get flashy with a great team. I’m fine with that. But they had two...actually three moments they really needed him...and he delivered. So I believe he’s very capable. Is Wentz better than Garrapolo? I think we could have long debates about that.

Oh...I think IF Garrapolo could have stayed healthy the Niners win  it all. So I’m not on the same page with you. The Pats hardly missed a beat when the greatest of all times Brady went down and Garrapolo took over. You could maybe blow it off more if you didn’t just see Bellicheat suffer the season they just did.

You mean MVP level in 2017??? You mean carrying a team into the playoffs in 2019 passing for 4K with no WR over 500 yards lol.

Facts are Jimmy G never been at that level jimmy G was passing for 80 yards winning playoff games because of a stout D and ground game

Well yes it was a cheap shot. I agree! But was it also a fundamental problem for Wentz? Yes! He didn’t need to hold on to the ball that long. I’ve always been pissed about it. But also...what was he doing? Really got compounded this past season. He is who he is. I’m not really a hater. Just not going to live in make believe where Wentz always was going to be the best player on the league. We all bashed Dallas for Dak. Always thought we were so much better with Wentz. Signed him to a huge contract early. Yay! Going to be a good deal when you look back from the future QB salaries. But it was a lie. Didn’t remotely work out that way. We got fooled. Got played. Most all of us got snowed in on that. But....there it is again...always...and predictably.....it was terrible for us. We aren’t so much smarter than Dallas. It ended up being terrible. We were the fools. Sorry if I’m the first to make you realize this...but I’m a realist. It hurts! It sucks. But it really isn’t even debatable at this point. Dak isn’t an All Star in my mind remotely...but he’s been better than Wentz. Sad...but true. It hurts me to even type this. Kind of blame you(not really). But just face reality. Dak has always had a team around him on offense. Zeke and always a nice WR or 2. Did we provide that for Wentz? Will we provide that for Hurts? All we did was basically fall down the stairs in slo mo after the SB as far as keeping the team solid

He didn’t hold the ball to long he was running and got down and hit in the head helmet to helmet... What we all thought Wentz could be he was and when he is it again in Indy we will look stupid. Reality is Eagles Howie etc Fed up and will look stupid when Wentz is killing it in Indy
