You won’t commit to SB victory! Which should be easy if you upgrade a very good team from need to retire QB to the great Wentz...

I'm SURE you remember The Great Wentz' Houdini act escaping from the pass rush vs the skins. Just bustin' chops, having fun.

Yeah...I really don’t see your point. So our third stringer wasn’t great? Wow. I’d like to every third stringer to rise up to stardom. But that very rare. I’m more concerned about paying the starter boatloads and him sucking. What third string QB is great? I’ll wait for your answer.

Point Ham(the one you aren't seeing) is if you know your QB3 STINKS, but you keep him employed for 5 years anyway, that is poor management even at the entry level. If you are a store manager would you keep a cashier that can't function employed for 5 years or would you replace them for something better? Piss poor management and a WASTED roster spot IMO, and once again it's not that QB3 is a big deal, what IS a big deal is you can't fix low level issues, but we're supposed to trust you on the BIG issues?

All I want is cheese steaks for a year brother……………your choice LOL. And not surpass Rivers' numbers. LOL "THE BET" is - AND WAS -  Indy will be a better team and have a better season than the former.

Yeah too many variables. The defense steps up and plays great and carried them...then you are anointing Wentz the savior? Nah. He needs to be better than the washed up QB that had to retire because he was done. Seems like a really low bar to me, no? Just be better than the guy who knew his career was done? Not like I’m saying he has to be Patrick Mahomes. The guy actually said I can’t do it anymore...and posted these numbers on the same exact team. Sorry....but that has to be the bar. He must be better than a guy who turned in his cleats because he knew he had nothing left. That’s the measurement and bar.

Answer-Apparently they are good enough that other teams don't need to employ an "emergency QB"

Exactly. You have no answer for the great third stringer QB. Suds was what he was. Never materialized even though we gave him every chance. Oh well. But no third string QBs are good enough...for pretty much anything. Best answer is probably situations where the second stringer was absolutely terrible.

I answered,go read it again. How many other teams pay QB3 and hire an emergency QB? (I'll wait for YOUR answer). I also said the theory is to get them good enough to be QB2. I never said they would be stars YOU did. Suds never progressed AT ALL yet we paid him for 5 years. WHY????

You always good. I dish it out...so you know I take it. But I’m also opinionated. So you got to come correct if you think you changing my mind. But I’m also always good for trying to add humor. Of coarse you know how sick my humor can be 😂....too old to change now

Sure that's fine. I'll except your stats bet. All in fun and just offering my opinion and feelings. I'm expecting to see Wentz play at his MVP 2017 level or very close.

I’d say plenty of teams. When your starting QB goes down I’d say it’s fairly common for teams to bring in a guy. Nobody’s QB three is good. Suds never progressed. Your right. But wow...shocker. Name the QB three that did. Was SuDs worse than Thorson that we drafted? That guy was terrible. Just look across the league. Name the third string QB you going to ride with.

SO Ham let me ask you what you would do if Suds was still here(hypothetically). Would you keep him and pay him  or dump him for say Felipe Franks as a UDFA?

I’m excepting your opinion...,and the bet. Always all in good fun. But of coarse I’m roasting you to my full extent if you lose....no mercy. And you would expect no thing less I’m sure. What else we got to do LOL

LMAO you keep harping on the QB3. The POINT was(once again) it's NOT ABOUT QB3, it's the fact you let that problem go for FIVE YEARS!!!! WHY??? We lost better players for less

I would make him sit in the corner with a dunce hat

We drafted a guy that was actually worse. Hard to believe ...I know....but it happened.

SO After year 3 and I saw ZIP improvement from my QB 3,you make the change and try something else yes???? Beating dead horses seems to be the talent of this team

LOL yeah you busted me there HAHA(only in Philly)

Ham all I am pointing out is even simple decisions weren't made at the very lowest levels. OK maybe they were too busy, but jebus the gatrorade crew could make that change(we're doing the same thing with Jjaw, it's NOW or never for him IMO. We strung along with Hollins and others

Right we're going to turn those round 6 and PS WR's into Lynn Swann and TO.. I'm really excited to see this. I can't wait to see this transition(hint,if the talent is not there you are wasting your assets)

But it seems you think round 6 DL will turn into Reggie White and Jerome Brown?

I'm all for giving guys chances, but at some point you gotta say "time to make a move" but we don't

No, but they can be decent BU's. At WR we have ZERO starters, they are all BU's. get some depth, maybe one pans out. At WR we have nobody that scares anyone. IDK maybe a round 6 guy can play better than Dillard? Or Barnett?

That could (and likely does) explain lack of perceived progression/development of young WRs but obviously not CBs.

Wentz held back the young CBs too... Hurts will help with his intangibles.  The water boy will improve under Hurts as well.  Ham will explain this later.

You gotta appreciate how much we were spending at QB. We always valued the position highly. Paid Chase a boatload even to be QB two. Really sooooo happy we brought Foles in. Absolutely genius move. QB3 behind the QB we traded everything for and QB 2 in Foles? I can’t really name any QB 3 around the league. Pretty much know if it comes to that we rather ask Favre to unretire.

Stop harping on the QB3,it was an EXAMPLE showing how we can't even cover entry level issues

The Water Boy loves Hurts. We all knew that.

I appreciate that, what I dont appreciate is leaving them alone with no surrounding/supporting cast

I believe redemption is at hand. Got so much draft ammo he almost can’t lose. He survived the very obvious reason to face the gullotine. I’ve obviously been alone in my ****ing about him for years. Seems everyone gets it now. But now I’m on my own again probably...because with  the best draft capital ever...I think he won’t completely screw it up.

You are just on board because of having Hurts over Wentz... Hurts is Howie's redemption.  Plus the bar is lowered again to the bronze level, so back to that level you enjoyed with the track team that finishes the Reid era... Vick, McCoy, DeSean and Maclin... that type of level that couldn't win a playoff game,  but had the flashes of speed.

Roast away. I'm good at taking it when I'm in the wrong. But ONLY when I'm wrong LOL. The reason I only have 60% of me arse left is 'cause it got chewed away slowly over time like a river current wears away stones. I'm only 53, but you get the gist    Right, nothing else to do with it than have fun. Can't change it. NFL is entertainment and most of us are nothing more than ants in the NFL picture.

And now you are catching up to where I’ve been. I’ve been that sole fan that felt we sucked. Saw things going downhill. Everybody bashed me. Called Rosie the GM of the Year a genius. Can do no wrong. Don’t worry about contracts....everybody tried to convince me. Rosie always figured out a way. But now you see...everybody sees...the piper must be paid at some point. Bringing in old vets at FA. And guaranteeing Alshon for no reason never made sense. Not to me anyway.
