Roast away. I'm good at taking it when I'm in the wrong. But ONLY when I'm wrong LOL. The reason I only have 60% of me arse left is 'cause it got chewed away slowly over time like a river current wears away stones. I'm only 53, but you get the gist    Right, nothing else to do with it than have fun. Can't change it. NFL is entertainment and most of us are nothing more than ants in the NFL picture.

I had an ant farm when I was 6. Mom wasn't too thrilled when I let them out in my room"to play"

And now you are catching up to where I’ve been. I’ve been that sole fan that felt we sucked. Saw things going downhill. Everybody bashed me. Called Rosie the GM of the Year a genius. Can do no wrong. Don’t worry about contracts....everybody tried to convince me. Rosie always figured out a way. But now you see...everybody sees...the piper must be paid at some point. Bringing in old vets at FA. And guaranteeing Alshon for no reason never made sense. Not to me anyway.

Draft fail, the replacements for the lines should already be on the team. Mailata was a nice surprise, but here we are once again trying to fill a zillion holes because of the past failure to draft and develop

What was Wentz norm? That’s very debatable. Extremely  well I don’t think fits. He had ups and downs. I wanted to go all in on him. First one to admit I’m guilty. But....oh you know that was coming.....I’d have to say 2017 season was the outlier actually. You can’t convince me he played EXTREMELY well other than 2020. Not believable.

Yes....he had to be excellent with garbage around him every year...  but Hurts just needs to let the excellent group of playmakers make plays...lol.   The bar is lowered.

Amazing how you drink the kewl aid.   Idk... I think we see what he does with a roster that was middle of the pack ( 7 out of 16) that didn't really add anyone... and we get a better idea this year.    But remember... Hurts can mess up ...he had 340 yards the one game, that one game is enough for him with the lower bar.

You are just on board because of having Hurts over Wentz... Hurts is Howie's redemption.  Plus the bar is lowered again to the bronze level, so back to that level you enjoyed with the track team that finishes the Reid era... Vick, McCoy, DeSean and Maclin... that type of level that couldn't win a playoff game,  but had the flashes of speed.

That team looked good. Actually pretty unstoppable. But then...Vick got figured out. DJax wasn’t paid and disenfranchised. What could you do differently in that situation? McNabb was  done. McCoy was awesome. Arguably MVP of the league right after that.....unfortunately with the Bills. And of coarse we ALL remember your label for AR...the Bronze Standard coach. Never agreed with that. Do you still think the same about him? You know after he won the SB. And then went to it again this past season. You still feel like Andy Reid is just a third level...bronze coach? I think he’s great. Not perfect. But I don’t think of him as Bronze. I thought of him as the best to not win it all...of coarse...before he won or all. Pretty much thinking he’ll win another. That sad...two time SB champion coach. On the verge of Hall of Fame level. Not bad for the second runner up guy.

Actually I thought Garrapolo has been very good ....when healthy. Big caveat. He didn’t get flashy with a great team. I’m fine with that. But they had two...actually three moments they really needed him...and he delivered. So I believe he’s very capable. Is Wentz better than Garrapolo? I think we could have long debates about that.

Idk... the moment I the SB where he had a dude open for a TD and missed the throw pretty badly... that could have changed the narrative.    But he was good managing the game when they had a dominant running game.

So now we are talking to ATL about Jones (supposedly). There's a career killer for him if he comes into this disaster.

Can’t argue against any of that

Actually two out of his three starts over that passing

Oh...I think IF Garrapolo could have stayed healthy the Niners win  it all. So I’m not on the same page with you. The Pats hardly missed a beat when the greatest of all times Brady went down and Garrapolo took over. You could maybe blow it off more if you didn’t just see Bellicheat suffer the season they just did.

The Pats last year compared to the year Brady was suspended... totally night and day.   Really anyone with football knowledge knows that.

How could a team with the worst cap situation take on the massive bloated aging contract player? Doesn’t even remotely sound believable.

Like Wentz in 2017?

What level are you seeing Wentz? I was wanting to believe all in on him but come on?   What are you calling him some Super Hero? Never won a single playoff game. C’mon! Facts are facts. I doubt he blows away Rivers numbers from last season on the same team. Mind you ....Rivers decided he need to retire after that. Not remotely the bar you are talking about.

We shall see more after this year.

We do this at WR annually. Last "big gun" we had was Agholor(meh) . We draft ONE, then find used FA's. Heaven forbid we draft TWO or one every year. Maybe Reagor pans out, we'll see,but we need to stop the 1 and done at WR if you want any hope of contending. So we have Sanders, the last RB's we drafted are trash(see suds again). We will see if Howard has any gas left, but once again we should get a decent RB draftee in here. Scott is OK,I hope Howard can contribute, but other than Sanders we are ignoring the future there like we do at WR

I’ll give you that as a fair point. But ....they won with Garrapolo. If he sucked..,that wouldn’t have happened. When the Niners got down...Garrapolo delivered. He threw for like five TDs. So....ihe didn’t post huge stats on a great team...until they needed it. But he did deliver.

Because it's HOWIE and he loves the attention. Ertz and cash for Jones???? May not be believable, but it's possible. It's a RUMOR like the 157 other ones

Jump in on the bet. You think Wentz is the greatest. Surely it would be easy for you to back him to post better numbers than the guy who knew he was washed up and couldn’t play anymore and had to retire..on the same exact team.

ATL with Ertz and Pitts(pick 4), Ridley and a fixed cap situation can grab another WR and they are back in business

ATL didn’t have offensive struggles. They have no defense. Don’t see anything your saying fixing them winning. They gotta get some D or Matty Ice can’t save them. Did you see them at all last season? They just got out scored...like every week.

So you are in the belief that Indy now wins the Super Bowl because they got Wentz? They were a great team with a QB that was washed up so much he had to retire. I’m not with you on this!

They were a 7th seed out of 16 teams.  That is the definition of mediocre... 7 out of 16.   Playing in a division with 2 of the worst teams in football, #1 and #3 drafts slots.       They just lost their long time LT, and basically spent free agency trying to retain guys, they made no real additions.

So we shall see...  how does a QB do when he has average surroundings that you could expect a GM to provide.

That’s why ATL is dying to trade back. The very top players are offense. Trouble is the Niners paid a kings ransom for the third pick. Nobody else will pay that. So ATL has a brand new first time GM. How could you explain taking half of what the guys hit that had the pick right before you? Terrible situation for him. Acccepting so much less is actually probably best for them so they can fix the D. But you look like a chump in comparison. But what defender do you take at four? I wouldn’t envy his position. Kind of why he needs to take offense. Hence...gotta trade Julio. Which ..,,that guy has been a beast. Big fan. But his price tag...at that age....he would have to be the missing piece to a championship. An all in..,be damned about the future situation.

I like it. You are already apologizing for Wentz....again. They have a great draft record GM. Why they wouldn’t give up picks easily. They lost one guy..,and you already can’t even commit that Wentz will be better than a guy that knew his career was over and hung up his cleats. That says everything. Even after you stated his division has two of the worst teams in football. That parts arguable. You could easily say he sucked terribly in the worst division in football last year...but let’s keep moving the bar to wherever we can apologize for Wentz at.

I wanted Wentz to be the savior.

This is your issue.    No player needs to be the " savior"    why do we want a guy to save anything?  There shouldn't be anything to have to be saved from.

Yet your bar for Hurts is much lower ?   Why?   This is where you are not consistent.  This is my issue with a fan like you.

Actually it was seven out of thirty two. You know because they were better than all those crappy teams that didn’t make the playoffs...you know like us....that had him as our Franchise Guy.

Easy. Because we traded all kinds of stuff to get to two to take Wentz. Then paid him crazy money to be that guy. What we got was a guy that got everyone fired.

So of coarse the bar isn’t as high with Hurts. Why should it be?

I'm already there.... I absolutely think Wentz makes that mediocre team... which was the results...7 out of 16... better.

You need him to be better than the Chiefs ....who have studs all around that QB... that's the bar you set for " the savior"

It's why I am saying let's see what happens.  I think all this nonsense you are spewing where you try to make him seem like the failure and not the garbage that was around him be the issue will get proven wrong.    Does he have to elevate a mediocre team over the Chiefs?    Idk maybe for you...  but yet Hurts wouldn't have to?  Just be consistent.

It was 7 out of 16 in the AFC.
