That's my hope as well, that 2 more teams trade up between 4-11 to take a QB pushing non-QBs down to us.  Obviously Dallas being one team that trades back is best ... that should push a CB down (assuming that is the position they will target).

Dunno what Dullaz will do. I troll their boards and the fans are clammoring for Surtain

I think allot of people are going to be surprised this year. I feel we do not stick to the old basics this year. So O-Line and D-Line will not be the pick unless that is the highest rated player. From what I can tell, only Sewell is rated higher than 13. Just a feeling I have. I have been wrong almost every year with this draft so not afraid to make a statement like this one lol

Most likely WR/CB/LB and possibly QB (UGH!) will be the pick at 12. Pick could change if we move though....

I feel like this exact post... we see every year...lol.      For me, I'm not predicting anything different until I see it first.  Idk...I went from a guy just legally drinking to seeing 50 coming around the corner.... and it's been the same...lol.    I might pop champagne if Parsons is the pick just seeing a LB for the first time since Jimmy Carter was president.

I have WR/CB as my first 2. I would definitely move back and still take one of those 3 WR's and get an extra 2. Maybe take 2 CB's too in round 2. Possibly a D guy in 3 there with LB going on the back burner yet again(it's history) or use that last 3 pick on one. That would add WR/CB/CB/D line/LB with the first 5. That would be a solid start

But what about Kelce replacement?

Lmao damn come on honestly speaking and I know you being sarcastic with this comment but his replacement is on roster already.

Semaulo/Juriga and would not be shocked if we tried Herbig giving him some reps

Assuming a trade back how about  1)Toney-WR 2) Samuel-CB, Stokes-CB Browining-LB Togai-DT

Yeah I want to get one. Like Meinerz potential. IDK where he goes

Yes, you are probably right. the biggest difference is that the Eagles have failed miserably in the draft the past 8 years or more. Everyone is calling for Howie's head because of it. What I do think is that they will stick to the plan as it best suits them however. You build with the Lines first, assuming there is someone who is rated high enough at 12, which there isn't. Then you build down the center- QB, RB, MLB, Safety. That being said, Micah Parsons fits that mode at 12. He is the highest ranked player when they pick. They haven't chosen a LB in decades, so it does not fit their norm. But that is my pick should they stick at 12. Of course, if one of the top 5 QB's fall to them, I have no clue what they would do in this case. I guess it depends on how they feel Hurts will fit into their plans. BG is probably right about taking a QB if they move up. No one here likes that pick but it could happen. I do not think they go O-Line or D-Line unless they move further down to 15-19.  go ahead and bash me. I get it. But Howie needs to do well this year and to do so would mean to listen to the scouts for a change.... two days we find out.

Your round 1 pick should start? SO who are you replacing on the line? I'm thinking more guys with high potential that may be a bit raw. Guys to replace/BU the guys that are aging for possible changes in 2022. IDK that you'd need the 12 pick for that

Just curious but would anyone be willing to trade for Odell Cleveland supposedly looking to deal him... Good chance he could be had cheap maybe a 3rd or 4th. Possibly a conditional pick in 22

Right now I will ride the trade back scenario into the  20's and pick up Toney as my round 1. Now I need to decide around where in the 20's lol. I'm kind of eyeballing the Bears at exactly 20 or the Colts at 22

Round 2's- Bears 52, Colts -54  If Bears we get pick 20/52, If Colts we get pick 22/54 for our 12(plus whatever else we can get)

GB, What I wrote was that there was no Lineman ranked high enough to take at 12. So either MLB Parsons or a QB if they feel is ranked higher.... Fields could be that pick

If they trade back then Joe's pick of a Lineman comes into Play. Plenty ranked between 14-25

Sure it's possible. Just don't see it. I think we ride Hurts for better or worse because we are set up nicely next year with potentially 3 round 1 picks. EZ to go after the top QB prospect with that

Possible,I just see Toney first and adding lineman in round 2, as well as CBs in round 2,3 as really no problem. We really need a WR in here that can do some damage. L'Bs CB's,linemen still have nice choices in rounds 2,3 with 4 picks there like 37/52 in round 2  then the 70/84 in 3

Yes, that is what you want. Not sure what the Eagles want though. I would think WR would be towards the end of this long list of players needed. But if one was ranked so much higher than others I guess they could not ignore it....

The board is the best right after pick 1 is made.  Since we can't pick all of the best WR, CB, Parsons,  Pitts,  get a QB or improve both lines.... the criticisms come in for who we don't get.   Always entertaining.

LMAO………I will NEVER forget the boos when McNugget was drafted 2nd overall and the ultimate fanatics wanted Ricky Williams.

Now……here's a real gun slinger clip for y'all. LOL you're welcome!

1

Pressley Harvin III Georgia Tech
2 Louis Hedley* Miami (FL)
3 Oscar Draguicevich Washington State
4 Jake Camarda*

Georgia

These are my probable picks for the Eagles at #12

Beauty is we have 3 more picks in the top 100,so we can still nail some good players. Could go D line with both 3's I suppose and avoid LB once again CB, WR D line LB if we want to get youth everywhere(no particular order). But I hope we address all 4 of those spots

I'm interested in hearing your opinion of what you think the Eagles will ACTUALLY do. Not necessarily player, but rather position based on based on top players that will be there according to if they actually stay pat at 12.

No need to go "on record" so to say. Just your op.

They actually have horn as a better chance of being a Pro Bowl player....

I’m a bit skeptical of this seems like he bullied college receivers. But was real handsy...drew flags. Stronger NFL guys and Pro rules against Corners could really hamper his style. Can he knock the bigger better athletes off at the line as effectively? Most logic would think his hands on approach will only draw even more flags in the League. Those are my concerns with him. Be real frustrating if we get a first round guy that’s getting flagged all the time.

Hard to know. Hard to argue with Joe that historically they go D line. My personal thoughts are we trade back with Chicago(at 20) or the Colts(at 22) and pick up Toney/Marshall/Bateman. and pick up the 52 or 54 pick. I would go CB there. Maybe Stokes. Still have 3 picks remaining,1 in 2 and 2 in 3,so I would hit the D line with at least 1 in round 2, then possibly pick up another CB and a LB with the 3 picks(either order). To me that would be a nice start. From there we still have lots of "fill in the blanks" picks for BU's or development. I have zero clue what they actually do,but this gives us WR,CB,CB,D line,LB all of which are sorely needed. I suggest Toney at 20/22 because we have staff familiar with him and that would be one less thing to worry about since they already know how to use him(in theory)

Ran a quickie(trade with the Colts) 22-Toney-WR-FL  37-Samuel-CB-FL st.  54-Nixon-DL-Iowa  Surratt-LB-N Caro  Adebo-CB-Stanford    IMO this would be a nice beginning

Stine, I think you have the scouts draft board pegged.   The thing is... we all know the Eagles board is the one that will matter.

Parsons would absolutely be a refreshing choice.   To me doesn't even matter of its the right one, but it signifys a change in not sticking 100% to the position philosophy.

I do think their preference is to move down.  Because I think their idea of a home run is getting their position on the lines and more picks.   I also do not see them trading up this early in the draft unless it's for a QB or lineman.. and like you said, there shouldn't be a need to do it for a lineman.

What I see that can put them in a quandary...  staying at 12 and then having to choose from a better player or the position they value.    I think for the fans it could be easy, but for the front office... you just know they want to take a lineman if possible ...as analytics probably shows its not worth taking non QB / lineman that early.
