Your round 1 pick should start? SO who are you replacing on the line? I'm thinking more guys with high potential that may be a bit raw. Guys to replace/BU the guys that are aging for possible changes in 2022. IDK that you'd need the 12 pick for that

They can justify a DL that gets into the rotation and gets playing time.   It's why I see DL over OL.

For us the draft starts w/ Atlanta.

Really want to see teams move up for QB's after that.

Nice day here for yard work but done after cleanup, bushed but it felt good to get out.

I'm the opposite... I'm hoping one remains at 12 to where we get a trade offer that's decent.

As good a chance as any lol

I have to give you the credit.

They're all punters

Funny, NFL Now is going thru the PFF simulator, has us taking Mac Jones.

Can hear the WTF's now!

Would be interesting tho. Between him & Hurts we'd prolly get a starting QB, maybe decent trade value for the "loser" or competent b/u, and we'd have all those high picks next yr to use on non-QB's.

I hear ya.

I'm trying to get back in shape since i can walk again

Saying NE and Carolina have done ground work on a trade that would be for a QB... Fields in Ne makes sense if they plan to keep an O similar to what they already doing with Cam

Don't know too many people who are guaranteed a job except business owners. Even then if you don't run it well you'll lose it ( except for Lurie ).

Don't want any players at any position who aren't willing to compete.

I don’t want Mac but I did say I thought he might be the best fit for how people were describing Siri O

How's that coming along ASG? Tough coming back from surgery, it's def slowed me down but keep pushing it

Heard the same w/ dullas & NE. In one way I'd like that, on the other gives dullass more ammo

I really hope Fields doesn't end up in NE. I like Fields and want him to have a really good successful career but not in NE.

Doubtful this will happen but NE's shopping Gibson. If Miami wants a vet WR a trade could be there

Maybe New England could swap Gilmore for Julio

The board is the best right after pick 1 is made.  Since we can't pick all of the best WR, CB, Parsons,  Pitts,  get a QB or improve both lines.... the criticisms come in for who we don't get.   Always entertaining.

I’m still sticking with firing Rosie immediately if Pitts or Chase make it to six

I think allot of people are going to be surprised this year. I feel we do not stick to the old basics this year. So O-Line and D-Line will not be the pick unless that is the highest rated player. From what I can tell, only Sewell is rated higher than 13. Just a feeling I have. I have been wrong almost every year with this draft so not afraid to make a statement like this one lol

Most likely WR/CB/LB and possibly QB (UGH!) will be the pick at 12. Pick could change if we move though....

Rashawn Slater might actually be out top Oline on the Board. Shut down Young. Facing him twice a year..,,that would be a nice counter. I have Darrisaw also right around twelve.

Dunno what Dullaz will do. I troll their boards and the fans are clammoring for Surtain

Looks to me like LB will once again go on the back burner(another Howie trait)

Took two last year. One of the few FA positions we added this season also.

Just curious but would anyone be willing to trade for Odell Cleveland supposedly looking to deal him... Good chance he could be had cheap maybe a 3rd or 4th. Possibly a conditional pick in 22

Isn’t he owed a fortune. He’s not a real positive influence bringing on to a (getting) young team. You want him mentoring Reagor, Hightower, Fulgham and Watkins?

Not really what 15m for a top WR and can be cut no dead money on 22 after

As for mentoring can care less I want a guy that makes plays Odell gives you that. Plus Odell is a character but not a bad guy or teammate

Pretty good.  I'm 4 months out and walking around pretty well.

In fact i'm planning to have the other knee replaced in August.

We have like 4.5 mil in cap space... if he gets 15 mil then you have to cut additional guys plus Ertz or keep pushing more down the road.   And still need to sign the draft picks.    I don't see it. If they make a financial move like that I would assume it has to be for a QB or a DL.

Not If Pitts falls lol

Yet he probably wouldn’t be 15m this year since Cleveland likely pay chunk of it next year we have cap..Ertz is going to be moved. The again following year it’s 15m which is fine for a top WR and if he wasn’t that guy can cut with no dead money.

I don’t think it’s likely to happen but just stating a possibility at WR

I would rather not sign an expensive WR because his career will end here. I would rather sign a guy like Dede Westbrook, who can be had very cheap if his medicals look ok. AKA no big bucks until I know what I have on this team. He is only 28 and not a huge cost, but could be a reliable target and could be used in a variety of offensive schemes

I wasn’t trying to shoot the messenger. Was just kind of thinking it through some. I do think he was pretty disruptive in NY. There was that shot of him in a hotel with a ho and a huge pile of coke laid out also. Just saying we have a pretty young impressionable WR room. Not sure he’s that mentoring vet to bring into that. I do believe he can still be a great WR.
