So Rosie has a great track record of drafting WR? We haven’t spent any draft capital on WR recently? I think I actually agree with No Mas here. Probably best to see what we actually have at WR. Then trade or sign a guy next year to fill the vacancy if there is one.

Isn't that why the entire staff is gone????? yeah Howie stinks at WR picks(and others too) What we actually have is possibly Reagor, maybe Fulgham does ok although he seems limited. Ward is a BU,who else ya got? What 3 will strike fear into every defense we face?

But it's a new coaching staff.  Can we agree if I taught music.... ( I don't play an instrument) and then you taught them... they may possibly improve?  Or should we give up totally?  Only so much class time... same with this WR group.  Bog picture we don't need to have anything set in stone this year.  If we find out they all can't play, then we make moves later.   I want to see all of them with this staff.  In this system.  So I know better what I need.  Reagor is perfect example ...is he a Z or a slot?  Or neither?  Fulgham may be nothing,  idk.  Watkins and Hightower,  I have no clue yet.

And to be honest... IMO Hurts is brutal as a passer,  these WRs may need more than just a year with him.  In the meantime I can build the rest of my roster.   Each year we can add , but this year I will start with pieces I know for 100% that I don't currently have.

You really passing judgement on these young guys. I don’t think they’ve been given anything near enough a real chance to say either way. JJAW has been given the most. I’m still not giving up on him completely. Coaching staff is good at developing WR ...supposedly. They like a guy that can block. JJAW is good at blocking. Maybe with new coaches and not having Wentz he flourishes. Wentz wouldn’t throw him the ball. Wentz is gone now. He really didn’t develop anybody. Guys got a chance now.

So who is better by September of 2021 will absolutely be the case for the rest of their careers.  Before even going against real competition?  Just drills in camp?  You will define guys by just that?

Oh I never said not to let them compete. That's what you are not getting. What I want is to upgrade the (perceived) talent level. Of course it's a crap shoot,but you can stop trying. Just give me the best 6 WR's we can fine. It can also be improved later/ as we move along,but I want the 6 best,not a boatload of medicocrity

We both know it's fluid, but I'm not going to change players out every week. I will play the best 22 I have win or lose. When will jjaw play against "real" competition? Then we coddle guys like Hollins.; Such a waste

Like I said, the biggest reason to get a top WR is to give Hurts a legit shot.

Hurts or any other QB. We need to make this team appealing again. remember when guys would play here for less why was that? Because the team was appealing. If I'm Wilson(Russell) next year and I look at what I have to work with you better overpay me or I will go elsewhere

I think this is their absolute favorite scenario.   Or Barimore or kid from Miami.

Wilson isn’t coming here. Your reasons are legit. But he wants certain things in life. He’s a superstar. Philly isn’t the market for him. Never happen.

So the whole city already wants Howie fired...for bigger reasons.  But simply firing him for trading down. ...before seeing how the draft turns out, and what we get with the trade... is putting you down for.  " I called it status "

Why aren't we in the market? Because we have nothing that would make him want to play here. You could argue if Djax and Alshon were still around(and younger), but really as far as a QB why would any of them want to play here?

Fine.. keep the same starters for play #1 each game. I don't care. If it means that much to you.  I'm just talking about not adding anything to the room. I want these 6 guys to get the reps. Practice and game reps.  The first play of each game doesn't mean much to me as it does to you.

What is coddling?  They play for a $hit team... trying to get a 2nd contract and a full time gig.    What is the great privilege of playing for the 2021 Eagles to where they are coddled?
