Tomorrow we find out what the Eagles do whether it’s WR QB CB DL OL it will all be over

This is definitely a team that isn’t behind Hurts though they might ride with him but can’t image he is the starter more then a year

AR was picking his guys with Banner before that. Not really much of a connection to where Rosie held AR back. Indy was 11-5 last year. Had a washed up QB throw over 4K yards. How is Wentz going blow that away? Pretty much has to win a SB.

Or idk not be the 7th seed and win in the playoffs which seems likely

Or get injured again....to me that seems likely

If they only hit Hurts to be a second stringer...hard to believe Lurie cans him for him not doing unbelievable as a starter. Already heard of them wanting Wilson or Watson. Wanted to trade to three for the BYU Wilson if he fell. Don’t see a version where Rosie gets crushed over Hurts. Actually seems like this draft a qb every year and Qb Factory thing is Lurie’s brain child.

All part of the equation.  You seem to be looking for just one thing.   I don't think it will be for one thing because Lurie likes Howie.

He can always excuse him for one thing.  It's different than you and I just looking for one excuse to get rid of him, Lurie only needs one to keep him.

So... Reid and Wentz success elsewhere.  Hurts busts.  No replenishment of the lines, nothing in the next free agency spending.

And results of still being below 500 and 3rd or 4th in our division in the next few seasons.   That is what it will take.  A bunch of reasons for failure where Lurie has no choice.

Lmao yea because he hasn’t been injured in 3 years not even injury prone. I’d be more concerned for Rodgers or your boy Jimmy G getting hurt, Burrow etc. getting injured more then Wentz

Trask is expected to be there at 37. We hired his coach. Just saying.

I think you hit on the key. He had every reason to fore Rosie this year. Didn’t happen. He survived. Rosie just needs a few reasons to make his case of doing a good job to stay. I don’t think Wentz and AR are much of a factor. Especially not AR.

Rodgers and Garrapolo getting injured is also think likely.

Ham... not about stats bro.    Lurie sees his favorite coach " coach for life "  and his ultimate " face of the franchise " playing in late Jan and Feb... while we keep drafting early .... it's cumulative.

Again, you want to be smartest guy in the room and look for one thing.  Like you said, he already failed multiple times.   We need Lurie to run out of excuses.

We know it's not going to be for skill position players dropping to 6, a slot where they don't value skill position players. He certainly won't get fired before either Chase or Pitts make pro bowl.

It's great that you give your reason... I am just giving the realistic point of view.   The whole fan base already wants Howie fired. It's a moot point giving the reason you are now.

What are you talking about? Wentz got a concussion. The year before had back injury.

Off the subject. I just watched the Santa Anita Derby replay. Looking at derby horses. Rock Your World is a freaking horse!  I normally never bet the favorite unless he is 3-1 or better. So it is looking like I am taking this one unless another can show me that closing speed......

Me neither. But half of the fan base isn't going to like him losing his job.  This goes to more than just football skills but the " face" of the franchise perception.

They are far more injury prone then a QB that played every game(would have) last 2 season. Played 16 games(would have) in 3 years. Out of 5.

And missed a grand total of what 11 games in 5 years because of injury so out of a total of 80 possible games he was healthy for 69 of them. That a pretty damn healthy player

Day two seems like the most likely to me. Any guy of quality will be gone by then. Trask, Mills....everything seems to be lining up for at least three QBs taken in the second round. After that....I can’t even guess at who you could take.

Better IMO to use those higher (day 1 and 2) picks to add talent either around Hurts or on defense.  Give Hurts a better chance at succeeding.  If he craps the bed get your QB next year ... there will already be more pieces in place to increase the odds the next guy will be successful.

Did he played 16 games???? Did he start that Seattle game???? And sorry I don’t count a cheap shot to the head on him he did everything right on the play got down after running... He can’t control a D player coming in late aiming for his head and hitting him helmet to helmet

So yea 3 years fully healthy

Cumulative? Like how we’ve steadily gone downhill since he was GM of the year? Hired a coach to keep Wentz...then he still left. Seems like it will still keep adding up. But Rosie will find positives to survive and keep his job. The negatives have been there. He has a great shot at actually having a good draft now. The negatives haven’t gotten him fired. He’s going to get some real positives now to back up his position.

Wow! Wentz is the picture of durability to you now. Ok. No idea how you think that. Seems like he was only durable when he wasn’t very good. Pretty weird. When he played well in 2017 he got injured. Wasn’t playing well in 2018 when injured. 2019 didn’t play well until playing decent the final few games...but then injured to start the playoff game. Seemed healthy last year though. Seemed healthy in 2016.

2016- started all 16 games

Year before the back injury was 2017 he won 13 games and tore his acl on a run... also came in to finish that drive threw a TD pass to take the lead vs the rams on that torn ACL.

Rushed back in 2019 had a record year in terms of accuracy for himself and could have still played and wanted to keep playing the team opted to sit him. Part of the downfall in relationships.

2019 carried a crap team into the playoffs started every game even the playoff game that he got cheap shot in.

2020 was completely healthy again

Missed 11 games in 5 years that is remarkably healthy for a football player

I only want him to be successful because we used a pretty high pick on him.  Well plus it settles the position.  If he plays like dirt I have no problem with him losing his job and looking for another.

Of coarse that’s not even going in to his injuries in college.

No idea how you can think a guy is injury prone  when he has been healthy more the not. Yet you think he is going to get hurt again based off what???? The fact he has missed 11 total games in 5 years

Stephon Diggs was injured all of college been healthy majority of his NFL career really don’t care about college.

Lmao yet you don’t use that for Wentx but is an excuse for Hurts

Yet we just don’t want to talk about how terrible Hurts really was last year

You are missing some games here. Missed three playoff games in 2017. Missed two playoff games in 2018. Only played for two minutes before injury in the 2019 playoff game. Was so terrible he didn’t have enough opportunity to get injured in 2020.

Hurts made multiple dumb mistakes turned the ball over at an alarming rate... Couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn, couldn’t make quick reads couldn’t read the field. Didn’t have great pocket awareness.

But that the guy we want???? He didn’t show me much honestly think Joe Webb/Tarvaris Jackson level backup is Hurts ceiling
