You are missing some games here. Missed three playoff games in 2017. Missed two playoff games in 2018. Only played for two minutes before injury in the 2019 playoff game. Was so terrible he didn’t have enough opportunity to get injured in 2020.

So again only injuries were 17-18 missed 11 games in a total of 80 regular season games.... I’m not missing anything dude has been reality healthy in his NFL career.

We all know we are taking a QB in this draft...again. What round is crucial.

Nah, I will snag a UDFA like Thomas or Franks or both

How many games did Wentz throw for over 330 yards last season? One. Out of 12. Hurts threw for over 330 yards twice out of three starts. I have plenty of nitpicking to do on Hurts. But these are the facts. What actually happened.

How many point per game did we avg. with Wentz vs Hurts???

Playoff games don’t count now? They aren’t important to you?

I think you hit on the key. He had every reason to fore Rosie this year. Didn’t happen. He survived. Rosie just needs a few reasons to make his case of doing a good job to stay. I don’t think Wentz and AR are much of a factor. Especially not AR.

Ok... let's eliminate his reasons for staying.

1. Coaches win less elsewhere... nope, AR the example

2.  Players don't play better elsewhere... nobody bigger than Wentz to prove him right or wrong?  Most dead money ever BY FAR... if he plays well and Indy takes the leap from mediocrity.  ..that's a nope!

3. Well my QB that I drafted to be smartest guy in the room worked out.   That's a big nope if he doesn't

4.  At least we have a good young nucleus.   It ain't here yet is it?

5. But look at the records of our teams.   Right not 7 out of the last 10 seasons...less than 10 wins.   3 more years of that... not good.

So I ask you... fast forward 2 years... what excuse do you think Lurie could use for keeping Howie?  Not much left.

But yet....we all think this team isn’t very good. How great can the QB be?

I wouldn’t expect anyone to look great this year.  But if he shows promise, shows he checks a bunch of boxes that you want to see in a starting QB (smart, accurate, capable of reading defenses, ball security, ...) shows he continuously progresses as the year goes, then that’s a good start.

For Wentz purpose that I need no I need him to play 70% of snaps which he has done majority of his career. Again 19 cheap shot got him hurt when he did everything right he can’t control that.

Besides that he only injuries were 17-18

Sorry I’m not looking at a 17-18 span calling a guy injury prone when he was healthy every year besides that

Slightly more with Wentz... I knew this better before.

Big picture.. Wentz outscored Foles in 2017 and 2018... and Hurts in 2020.   Outscored Foles every week they both started in both 2019 and 2020.

What did stand out....was the increase in the amount our opposition fumbled and lost fumbles when Foles and Hurts played as opposed to Wentz.    But that is part of the intangibles that Wentz is missing.  You need that ability to make the opposition fumble.

On top of throwing pick 6s that get dropped by the opposition. Wentz stinks at that, instead you see CBS make those nice catches like the Dallas kid.  If he can learn these things in Indy, he can really step up his game.

Chip...sucks. Coach surely didn’t make the case for Rosie being banished to the coat closet.

Players like Vinny Curry only doing well here. Wis started for our SB team. Long track record of nothing elsewhere. Robinson career season here....nothing elsewhere. Howard left and sucked. On and on. You are putting everything on Wentz. He lost the team. That’s on him.

Young nucleus? Well he traded away picks and had little draft ammo before. Sanders looks good. Brought in a bunch of developmental guys last year. Got huge draft ammo this year. Probably even more next year. Easy fix. Have to be the worst ever to blow this( ok that part might be possible)

Records? Won SB. Won playoff game. Won division. Sucked. Good track record I’d say. Hard to fire a guy with that resume...ahhh sorry Pedey.

Want facts 52% 4ints 6fumbles. Sacked 13 times. 7/20 in the final game SEVEN completions. I don’t care if it is tank game or he has 5th strings in(Wentz dealt with it).

Dude was dreadful but hey he got yards whoooooo I forgot football games are won based on most yards.

So besides the injury in ‘19 he only was injured in ‘17 and ‘18. That’s three out of five years. Got benched the fifth...not sure you can count that on your side.

Yeah...nobody considers a guy injury prone because he got hurt in college.

Tell me go look how many games has Wentz played in his 5 year career with us in the regular season. Then tell me how many games he has missed due to injury in that 5 years in the regular season.

Id say it very much on our side

Again... pay attention.   I'm fast forwarding ahead. You are giving reasons he can use now.     He already has the job, these reasons mean nothing.   Fast forward ... all the things I said add up.  The biggest thing, the team goes nowhere in a couple of seasons.

You keep wanting to add a cheap shot head shot as on him when he got down nothing can be done about that but he played all 16 games and started the playoffs

The coach was told to make sure not to win the game. I do care about using those Tank game stats against Hurts. It’s not remotely fair. Your main point seems based on a game the owner demanded the coach lose. Tom Brady wasn’t doing much better in that game. Fail! Try again

Of course you don’t because it doesn’t fit your narrative... Did Doug tell Hurt hey go out there don’t complete passes and throw ints I highly doubt that. 7 completions

But the main point even without tank game he was dreadful he got destroyed by Dallas one of the absolute worst D in football threw 2 picks and only managed 17 points and that all came in the first half nothing in the 2nd

It was a cheap shot. But he also should have already thrown the ball away. Both can be true.

For me I'm giving him a couple of years.   My expectations are low, he can only make me happy by surprising me.   But if after a couple years he and the team don't do anything...  will Lurie be happy being at the bottom, while his former coach and QB have success?   I don't think so.

It hasn't happened yet so we don't know.  But I forsee Lurie having to fire Howie just on sheer egg on the face.

Like I said, saw article. " Andy Reid has to leave Philly to succeed"  if another one is written for Wentz.   And this lingers for a few seasons.  Similar to how your hatred for Wentz has been a few months... it won't be pleasant for Lurie being embarrassed.  We know he hates being embarrassed.

You only want to talk about oh Hurts threw for 330 yards twice let’s ignore was against two of the worst Ds in football. Let’s ignore his 50% accuracy let’s ignore his fumbles and ints. Let’s ignore how terrible he was and look at the one good thing he got

Yeah just my narrative. Toth at T. Pryor manning the other T. Reagor pulled almost immediately. No Sanders. Whole organization trying to force a loss. Any QB would kill it in that situation. Clearly you are right. If any other QB was in he would have lit it up...like Suds...oh wait

You mean WHEN HE WAS RUNNING THE BALL AND WAS DOWN. again everything was done right by Wentz he had no need to throw the ball away he was running and was down he gained yards it wasn’t a hit behind the line

So basically everything Wentz has dealt with. Bet they complete more then 7 completions
