Rumor has it Gannon plays to run a lot of zone.

Wouldn’t that favor the notion that we probably don’t need to spend a 1st round pick on a CB???  Definitely seen people talk on this on both sides debate.

But is Surtain a guy you would want to give up a 1st and 3rd(maybe even a 2nd). I find that steep for a Cb in a zone scheme

It’s over them drafting a backup QB when they were literally one player away from winning it all. ARod has every right to be pissed about that.

Sounds eerily familiar lol(not that we were 1 player away)

No.... as a player you gotta look at the team.  Much different situation in Green Bay than the Eagles.

Nah,the "situation" goes with any team. Once they feel you have lost confidence in them, or you are asking too much from them and you refuse, they will want out. You can go buy a cheap BU,but if you draft a QB high, they know the writing is on the wall.So who would want to stay in that situation?

You’d think.  But definitely a need for better talent there so I’d still be on board with a CB at 12.  Don’t want to trade up for anyone.  If both top corners are gone and other prospects we’d be targeting there are gone too I’d be fine with a modest trade back to pick up another pick and then picking from the likes of Newsome, Samuel, Bateman, maybe Paye, Phillips, etc.

Any last minute shreds of wisdom here? I have my foam pillows to throw at the TV ready to go. Actually it will take more intelligence to make tomorrows picks. I hope Howie can summon some up

Who’s ready for utter disappointment???  :mellow2:

I don’t get disappointed by names taken I usually disappointed by the end of there rookies year though

"I’m told, it’s going to be the player. It may not be the position everyone thinks based upon the biggest need at the moment, but it’s going to be a really good player at a position this franchise needs in 2021, 22, 23, 24, and beyond.”

A player who thinks the team has a chance to win something.

DOesn't matter if you're not wanted

Urban Meyer is "unsure who it will be" HAHAHAHA lies right up till the end

So what………approx 1.5 - 2 hrs till we are on the clock?

If he wasn't wanted he would have already been traded

Use and abuse. being forced to play isnt a great place to be either(see Ertz)

I doubt they take the full amount of time early. You may start seeing it around pick 6(trades)

I hate the fact that Jax knows without a doubt they’re taking Lawrence yet they’ll still take the full 10 min to hand in their card.  Ditto with NY and Wilson.

Gotta hold those ratings up. As teams pick you will lose some of that audience lol(from that team) so every minute of ratings counts(sheesh)

I mean that was totally blowing it as a GM. Green Bay very likely wins it all if they draft a player to help instead of a backup QB in the first. Of coarse....the team was one player away from winning it all....so the GM did do that.

Jags-" we got out guy!!!"(uh of course you pick first) lmao
