Now we have a reserve/covid listing.will they employ an emergency roster count addition? I mean,it's no good if you have 90 players with 25 on covid/reserve and 20 more "opting out" lol.IDK guys,I may have to suit up after all

Feels like everything is already set then. DJax, Ward and JJAW at WR. Ertz and Goedert at TE. Sanders with Scott contributing at RB. Dillard, Seumalo, Kelce, Peters and Johnson left to right. Carson leading the band.

Reagor needs to start

Pedey already came out and stated Reagor is training behind DJax at the Z. So things aren’t going like you are thinking to start the season.

Yes once a quote is made it CANNOT be changed(lmao)

Reagor said this week he is learning multiple positions.

Yeah I said earlier he needs to learn the slot spot. There are "tricks" learned there that can be applied outside. If you wan to be a complete receiver, you learn as much as you can

Reagor studying the playbook is one thing. Actual practice and games is different. I’m not a fan of learning a little of everything. I want him to perfect and add to his repertoire. He’s at square one of his NFL career. I don’t want to see a bunch of sloppy WR covered up by athleticism. I want him to strive to become the greatest. Sky is the limit! But that won’t come by half assing everything. Tight, crisp and extremely deliberate....that’s the approach. Some really good benefits that can be obtained by watching and learning from DJax. I also think Duce might not be here but so much longer. I want Reagor absorbing his knowledge as well. How to carry the football. How to explode upfield. More than learning the X I think get him in the RB group some.

https://www.viqtorysports.com/x-y-z-receivers-explained/   At full strength(rare for us lol) this is how I would like to see us play.We have the personnel to do it(watch the triple move by KC)

Ughh, how do you know what you're best at if you don't try them all? That is exactly what you are saying, his SPEED(Athleticism) is all he needs.I dont want a 1 trick pony for 4 years. How do you "add to your repertoire" if you run the same play over and over?.So yep,I will disagree and say learn a little of everything. We already know he's fast, what else can he bring?

Nate Solder is opting out. That means the high pick Andrew Thomas for the Giants will probably start at LT.

I never said learn only one play. But I’m saying perfect plays. Perfect a position. Your suggestion is to throw him out there all over the place.... just go play and let his athleticism overcome. I believe learning the technical part of the game is what’s really crucial for him now.

Pretty much like they tried with a JJAW. Or even their attempt with Dillard. Both epic failures. Got to learn from experiences....even, or especially failures.

Z is off the line. To learn the X he would need to focus on beating the jam. Is that where you want Reagor’s focus early on? I don’t. I want him perfecting his route tree.

It’s not that I don’t think he can play Xor the Slot. Heck, he probably mostly played X in college. He has plenty of ability. More than are just measured in height.

Here's the protocol for return for players that land on the COVID-19/Reserve list.  The good news is some DL from Miami is already off the list only after 2 days.

Better now than later for all 3 of these guys.

I think it comes down to how big the list becomes. It’s not just players either. Coaches, trainers....all these people that work with the team in so many capacities.

Tryin' to stay optimistic, but this season looks FUBAR.

Yes, I’m not seeing it being realistic at all to pull this off.

You said you didn't want athleticism to overshadow actual learning, yet thats precisely what you said you wanted from Reagor.I see nothing wrong with teaching him all the receiver positions.Apparently you do

I want him to find out what he's best at.If that is the X,then thats what we need him to do.if you can't beat a jam in the NFL,you aint goin anywhere and now he becomes officially defensible and worthless(aka 1 trick pony that you want) Learning the slot(even if it's in camp) helps you learn body control, footwork, how to blockout, and all the things you need to become a complete receiver, yet you don't want him to do that and I do

If Dillard is an epic fail why the HELL is he starting now?????.Jjaw was rushed into service due to massive injuries.I will give him a pass. This year he needs to show me why we drafted him

So to be a complete receiver, you need to learn all that.So just say I was right and be done with it lol

I can agree with you eventually. But you are rushing everything....all at once. Like you feel he must know everything all by week one of his first season. Just seems detrimental to me. I just want him to learn the right way.
