What am I hyping? Waddle is a slot. Smith can move all over the field. He's a better route runner. He is a much better fit for our offense. I would have been fine with Waddle as well, but he is much more limited in what he can do. But he fits in Miami because they have outside guys already.

I would strongly disagree with the claim he is a better fit if your looking for guys to get open quickly and YAC Waddle seems like the obvious fit and way better suited in Siri O. But all matter of opinion

Smith is a possible elite, but we need a QB for him. He didn't seem overly thrilled we picked him. Like him better than the Agholor pick 😉 

I’d argue Waddle plays the Z....same as Reagor. Would force one of them into the slot. Gotta remember that Siri it’s thought loves two TE sets. We needed an X. Chase.....was never going to happen. Smith was number two. Believe Rosie’s Big Board was Lawrence, Wilson, Chase, Pitts then Smith.

LOL Lawrence and Wilson were not on the board. We gave that up with the move down. I'm thinking Surtain was on the board and Horn also

I think our big board had an OL and two CBs higher then Smith(Waddle I could see going either way but think Philly would have leaned Waddle if both there).

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said team and Eagles had a conversation about tonight’s trade scenario earlier in week. Eagles told Cowboys they wanted to move up for an offensive player. Cowboys didn’t want to move too far back, having eye on LB Micah Parsons. Worked out for both.

So if true .... Dallas valued Parsons over the Bears trade... so the Bears trade wouldn't have been an option for them, they would have taken Parsons at 10.... now the Bears offer or Smith is sitting there for the Giants and the Eagles....  this is my point.  The Eagles either unnecessarily gave up pick 84 to Dallas ... or they passed on a potential Bears offer.
