Ertz could really put Buffalo in a position for a SB run(IMO). If we trade, I still look there even though we have been rejected already

I agree... seems like a good chance a deal can get done tomorrow.   We trade 224 or 225 and Ertz for 213.  I can see it happening.

they use their money to buy other positions.   Does it really matter?   You gotta do both to eventually win.

NP, but let's eliminate ONE position. IDC if it's WR, CB, LB but get a pipeline going for one of them.It saves you money down the road instead of having to fill all those positions in FA.just eliminate ONE of those 3

I mean, I think they try to do that all the time... investing picks doesn;t necessarily mean its going to work.   I think the last 3 seasons they invested enough draft capital in WR

GB and NO rarely have to take a FA WR because they have ELIMINATED that need

QB issues, O line/injury issues, staffing issues. I hope this new staff can develop SOMEONE..ANYONE!!

Right Green Bay really doesn't do much in FA.  The Saints usually do but at other positions.

Staff at the skill positions. Other than TE,name me one skill position that we drafted, that has thrived in the last 4 years(I'll wait) Leave FA's out of it, WHO has progressed from within at the skill spots? If there are any at all,it's a very short list(BTW Wentz didn't progress,we destroyed him)

See??? We are only as good as the players we can buy other than taking round 1 guys, who over time, figure out they can do better elsewhere. And the beat goes on.............and on

Maybe Agholor, but then again he didn't improve much more after we got him, but at least he didn't fan entirely

Lineman we are good at.NP there, but at the skill spots we can't get out of our own way and that needs to change

RB we seem to be fair, nothing special, but we are ok there, but the rest is a disaster

IDK I cant say what the teams ahead of us will do

Yep 5 corners went last night.  They are a hot commodity. And several teams still in need.  Can’t rule out a team like Dallas using that extra 3rd they got from us to get up to the top of round 2 and take one.

LB seemed to do well with the talent he was given. S has always been a good spot for us. RB Duce got the most of the guys he was given usually

Biggest issues for this team have been WR and CB

Irony at it's best and they can laugh all the way to the division title

True, hard to know. As you said we dont draft the talent. I mean to the point where we are DOMINANT,but OK I will give you an "ok/fair" at LB

Right?  They’d use the pick we gave them to jump ahead of us to take a player they know we want.  Just like we did with them a few years ago with Goedert.

It's coming HAHAHAHA(jebus)

I have a conspiracy theory!

So, we know Jeffy loves to watch film and pick players.  I was re-watching the senior bowl and these guys stuck out to me:

Patrick Jones, DE, Pitt

Sam Ehlinger, QB, Texas

Michael Carter, RB, UNC

Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson

Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M

There are probably others, but just at my cursory watch this is what I saw as guys who played well.  One of these guys will be a Lurie pick sometime today or tomorrow.

We have basically an entire new coaching staff though so hard to say how the new guys will develop players. Only hold over is Stout I believe

We got Adams in FA. If that was true we wouldn't need to get him either. Not saying there is perfection, but if we were really good at S,Adams would not be here,so I will give you a "fair" on that also

That is my hope, that we can reverse this trend of NON development

LOL I just saw a report that Tim Tebow (33) worked out for Jacksonville as a TE!  OMG that is funny.....

Which brings me to Ertz. Does anyone here feel the Eagles will trade him tonight?

QB, no need to draft one at this point-wasted pick IMO. Only guy I would look at is Rodgers(round 4) to complete the WR puzzle. Carter is ok, although I like others better. Welcome to the bored(Spelled correctly lol)
