Me either, and we could have had Meinerz at C in round 3 to boot. At least this makes logical sense. We getting 5 more wins with pine rider?

Getting 5 more wins with nobody that was selected this past weekend.

BTW - once the tourists are here, we hardly go to the beach or go out to eat, esp this yr.

We have the same problem at lake of the Ozarks.

You don't go on the lake because of all the drunken idiots

1.  Which year would be a better year?  When you are close to winning like Green Bay last year when they took a player who didn't have to play at all year 1?     Or when you are still miles away and it's irrelevant what that player does year 1?

2.  Never underestimate the stupidity of a bad franchise.

In my view C is the spot where you "get your guy" for the next decade and check off that box. He anchors your line. He is the piece you need to "set and forget" and I can't say we accomplished that. Year 1-10 you need to have a C that will be there every game,so this, for me personally, is not a position you experiment with or take risks at. At any rate,it doesn't matter now. What's done is done. I won't rain on his parade, but suffice to say I can't count on this guy for 10- years until he can give me a year with no injury. Maybe he will be fine, time will tell. point is there are 32 teams. Someone is C #32. We could have taken C #2 in this draft and I doubt he would be pro C #32. Instead we took a chance on Pro C #1 or a total bust out due to injury. We hit it out of the park, or we strike out altogether. Possibility still remains he becomes a G, which we have more than 1 of,but like I said it's done. Onward we go

In way I was glad to get out of FL. During season(which lasts forever it seems) you couldnt get anywhere to save your bacon. Line to the beach was 3-5 hours waiting time(and GL finding a parking place once you get there). Here there is nothing, so in "Land of the Lost" there are no tourists 😀. It's "serene" to the point of boredom but if you want no stress you came to the right place lol

What about this kid from Florida..  the WR Grimes?    Do you know anything about him?

@cunninghamtheman LOL, JIC you missed it, in reference to Gainwell hammering Parsons; is that vid the same one you saw? Do you have one longer than 5 seconds? If yes, can you please post the vid or link? Thank you!

Pitts, Toney and Grimes all played everywhere, almost interchangeable. They had a "strange" offense. He shined at the senior bowl. I think he can easily replace Jjaw. I believe though out of those 3 he was the best run blocker

It's a chip block... Parsons was engaged with the RT and he got chipped by Gainwell.

https://distinctathlete.com/2021/03/30/buccaneers-nfl-draft-target-running-back-kenneth-gainwell-memphis/  No vid but TB wanted him lol

I think Parsons was off balance and not "pancaked" lol.But Gainwell isn't afraid to mix it up

Mike Norvell has long valued versatility in his ball carriers and Gainwell is a perfect example. Gainwell finished his redshirt freshman season with 1,459 rushing yards to go along with 610 yards receiving. The only other player in the FBS the last three seasons to rush for at least 1,000 yards and have at least 500 yards receiving? Saquon Barkley. That’s the sort of company Gainwell put himself in last year. By the way, this was a heck of an eval by Norvell and his staff. Gainwell played quarterback – yep, he pretty much does it all from a skill perspective – at Yazoo Country High School in Missouri. Don’t be surprised if Gainwell gets to throw a pass or two next season as Memphis moves into the Ryan Silverfield era.

Great article on Pitts and his father Kelly by Mike Sileski.  Also,  saw a great video they made for him as he returned to the old high school last week.   Amazing, nobody ever drafted from school and this kid goes #4.   Absolute beast.   It's ironic the first time I saw him play was the preseason game that had the hype for DeAndre Swift and the St. Joe Prep squad... I remember telling my cousin, this Swift kid looks pretty good but our TE looks like he is going to be special, and he's only a junior!

Thanks brother!

Westbrook used to do that.. something we need in this offense.... the blocking from RBs was brutal last year.

Yes... but still a nice fundamental play.

He just turned ATL's offense into  a defensive nightmare. Kids gonna be impossible to cover

So I won the dynasty league last year.. no money for some reason...now watch I will pick last...  get screwed at a shot at Pitts.

On top of that this draft just lowered value for Tee Higgins and James Robinson...lol.     Fun stuff, hope to get Pitts somewhere and figure out a Kool team name...  still love " My Ball Zach Ertz"   lol

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2931999-trevon-grimes-nfl-draft-2021-scouting-report-for-philadelphia-eagles-wr  He reminds me of a slow TE,but one that will destroy you to get the ball. This was supposedly why we got Jjaw, for his block out ability. I think Grimes will take that job from Jjaw

I gotta be honest... I don't know what kind of job JJAW will have to lose... but just seemed interesting this guy didn't get drafted at all?

Grimes, his best attribute would be in the RZ

He was the unsung workhorse/clutch catch guy at FL. That guy that will convert a 3rd and 4(TE2???? Possibly)

He usually wins high throw contested balls, which makes me think he will be used inside the 20

Lol... Google a Giants fan punching a hole in the wall after Eagles drafted Smith..... this is hilarious there are idiots like this.... the wife is great....lol
