Lol... this is hilarious ... and pathetic.    You have at least one kid there.... and you punch a hole in the wall... and drop F bombs.    It's not even a game, it's a stupid draft...lol.

Wait 5 minutes before punching anything dummy.... you might end up with an extra first round pick...lol

That looks like 6 year old Bam Bam from the Flintstones LMAO………pathetic!

IDK, anyone think we could pick up Vander-Esch? Or would you want to?  I know he always wears that neck brace, obviously that did not help

Wonder if that will change their ranking for this year?

LB with pick 1 and I liked KJ Britt for us late, but we never draft LB's

Pushing the wife away while staring at the screen.... the kids are going to grow up to be great for their future spouses....lol.

Btw, I don't get the fixation for having to watch , let alone stare at the screen.  It's news, see who the pick is then move on and wait until the next pick comes in.

I mean he needs to be a free agent first. All we know is Dallas didn't pick up the 5th year,  so if they don't negotiate a new deal by the start of next year we can then sign him.

But that might cancel out Ham's completely pick for Ertz .

Baldy's Take on Dickerson:

Landon Dickerson, C/G, Alabama

6-6, 333 pounds

Round 2 (No. 37)

"He’s my favorite player in the draft. He’s as close to [Colts All-Pro left guard] Quenton Nelson as I’ve seen in the last three years. He just wants to be great. Nobody knocks more people down in college football than this guy. He’s as nasty as they come. He’ll start the fight and finish the fight. [Nick] Saban has called him the best leader they’ve ever had. He’s just a culture builder. Going in to play the Cowboys, you want this guy leading you out of the tunnel. He’ll make everybody around him better. Everybody. Just like Quenton Nelson did in Indy.

"I know there are injury questions about him. But I didn’t have any problem with them rolling the dice on this kid in the second round. Because if he stays healthy, he’ll be the best lineman in this draft. He might take over for [center Jason] Kelce this year. He’s 50 pounds heavier than Kelce. He’s much more physical. We all love Jason. But he’s flirted with retirement a couple of times and his body isn’t getting any fresher. His strength is on the perimeter and getting to the second level. This guy has Jason Peters-type power. He just knocks people in the dirt. Like over and over again. When you’re going against Dexter Lawrence and all these big nose tackles in the league now, I don’t see anybody backing this guy up. You look at all those [defensive tackles] in the SEC that are 320, 330, 350, he didn’t have a problem with any of them.

"I think he can be the best center in football. But if you want to put him at guard, I’m OK with that. The way he pulls and runs and knocks people down, he looks like [Hall of Fame guard] John Hannah out there.”

IDK they drafted a bunch and they have a bunch, someone will be out. I suppose they could re-sign him,but see no reason they would need to

Agreed!

Yeah, LOL I was thinking those kids will be a psychologist's job security for life. BTW, I had a neighbor at one time (Eagle's fan) who was like that. I named him (to myself) Anger Management.

Oh yeah, he should be left unsigned going into next year.

I don't get it... I'm not ruining my own stuff because I think my team made a wrong draft pick....lol.   lose me a Superbowl or a playoff game and then maybe I will curse or do something funny... not going to do any real damage.  Purely stupid right there.

Yep, if he turns out like this I'll be thrilled. I agree with your view of wanting a C to be "the man" for years to come and that he is the anchor + director of the OL. Only big ? for me is can his knee hold up. I imagine (hope!) the progress of his knee was thoroughly checked out.

Right... idk about all this, but I'm a huge fan of Nelson and the way he plays,my favorite OL to watch.    Said if I were the Giants, he would have been my pick instead of Barkley then get a RB next pick ( would have been Chubb but does it really matter)    Will Hernández ironically was their 2nd pick that year.   Nelson 20 times better, just changes the whole attitude up front.

If Dickerson is half of Nelson...   lol half Nelson...   that would be great.

He was doing cartwheels as Mac Jones was getting interviewed at the pro day.

In my view C is the spot where you "get your guy" for the next decade and check off that box. He anchors your line. He is the piece you need to "set and forget" and I can't say we accomplished that. Year 1-10 you need to have a C that will be there every game,so this, for me personally, is not a position you experiment with or take risks at. At any rate,it doesn't matter now. What's done is done. I won't rain on his parade, but suffice to say I can't count on this guy for 10- years until he can give me a year with no injury. Maybe he will be fine, time will tell. point is there are 32 teams. Someone is C #32. We could have taken C #2 in this draft and I doubt he would be pro C #32. Instead we took a chance on Pro C #1 or a total bust out due to injury. We hit it out of the park, or we strike out altogether. Possibility still remains he becomes a G, which we have more than 1 of,but like I said it's done. Onward we go

I think this hits on the difficulty of the situation. It would be nice to have a durable stud C so you don’t have to roster several. We’ve been spoiled only really needing Kelce for a decade. It was telling of how Siri is looking at things. A big C that can really move some people at the point of attack. Much different than Kelce. Kelce could lock on defenders. He was always good with angles. He also could get to the second level. But he couldn’t blast anyone off the line. Johnson, Brooks, Dickerson, Seumalo and Mailata can punish some people. Big and physical. Let these it’s run block and attack defenders.....pass blocking becomes much easier after the defenders are bruised up and tired....maybe even a little leery of getting mauled.
