Smith is a high character guy. Parsons has been mentioned as a thug. Can’t really see a new regime beginning with that kind of character. Really seems they made character and love of football high priorities in this draft.

Isn't that their theme all the time?   A couple years ago " we want guys that love football "   to me all the same rah rah BS.  They aren't taking LB first because it's the way of the men who wear a calculator in their shirt pocket.   I don't think the particulars of Smith or Parsons matter... no LB with this Eagles group.  Maybe when new ownership takes over.

The whole 100 yards extra their RB had versus the Bills. I really appreciate you guys making my point for me.

So let's compare on the real.

Singletary didn't get hurt, played all 16 games... 687 yards,  it's pretty bad.

CHIEFS rookie... played in 13 games officially, but let's look at weeks 7, 8, 9.  Two blowouts in week 7 and 8, they took him out with 14 combined carries in those games.   Week 9 he  got hurt after 5 carries.

You look at the reality he had production like a 1000 yard rusher for most if the time that was needed.  Singletary,  had him in fantasy,  was pretty awful.

Moss played 13 games had 480 yards.  TJ Yeldon played 3 games had 70 yards.

If you look at the Bills... 6 phases...   pass / run on O,   defense vs pass / run.... ST return/ coverage.     The clear weakness is the rush offense. It's really not close.  It's keeping Josh Allen fantasy stats up there.

because they don't need to lean on their RB every play because they have receiving threats? Would you ignore Hill and Kelce just to get your RB 1,000 yards?

Hill and Kelce are the 2 unique weapons in this league that simply create their own space... one with ridiculous speed and joystick ability.  And the other with power.   The compliment of both inside/ outside and short vs deep..  I don't think any other combo of two elite offensive players compliment each other like those 2 guys do.

And both can run with the ball.   You give your QB that amount of space,  even a Chad Henne can and did move the ball and put up points consistently.

Why do other teams retain WR's for years and years but we can't?

Dude, we need to get a good one first, before we worry about retaining.. lol

Reagrding the Chiefs it's all Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill. A little bit of watkins thrown in

Their RBs are no better than ours and their O line is worse.

I'm cursed with watching these guys every friggin week.

If Mahomes has a bad day their screwed.

What happened the last 2 years as Mahomes missed time?

Didn’t KC just overhaul that OL Brown at T Thuney at G drafted a C some pretty solid options at the other G spot.

That OL could be poised to be very good

Idk... worse than what Wentz had last year....lol

The 2017 "dynasty" lasted 1 year lol

Like the Bears, doesn't really make 1985 and worse though.

Miami sips champagne due to 1972... no other reason.

Well to get proper FA's you need to identify the talent and either we CANT or we are clueless when they get here. We tried the dream team approach, how did that go?

And that was a decade ago.   And Sydney Jones was one pick 4 years ago.   You can't stop things simply due to one bad result.   Each incident is its own thing.   We got the wrong players on the dream team.  Shouldn't stop from ever trying again.

So this 4 decade problem is on Wentz?

Like I said... the spin at Novacare puts CNN and Fox to shame...  we give it enough time we can blame Wentz for the Kennedy Assassination.   4 decades of crap at WR is close enough I guess.

Good thing we have Hurts now... intangibles baby, no excuses,  the WRs are going to be UNLEASHED!

DJax and Maclin don’t count now as quality receivers? JMatt was fantastic out of the gate as well.

You could say, some failures were brought on from the division going through a pathetic phase up until last year... if we were not in that bad division,we probably don't make those trades.    Slay is another one, 2 picks plus cap space.

I’d say ESPECIALLY  last year. They knew we sucked and needed to rebuild...but the terrible division having fired all their coaches made them double down because of the pandemic. Seemed like the highest hope was we could go 8-8.
Slay you can look at all kinds of ways. To me they were being cheap and didn’t bring him in before the trade deadline a season earlier than they did...you know when our whole Secondary was injured. The whole deal was already on the table.

If you think the draft only consists of the first round. Otherwise I’d say it’s very relevant. New regime in place. Team stinks. But what we need is guys that will grow and get better to have a good chance of being a part of things. You don’t necessarily have to be the most talented...but you have to be committed. Some may only ever be a fourth string DT...or backup Lb that plays as a core ST.

See I’d say Josh Allen rushing for eight TDs is a part of the rushing offense. He’s really good at it. Nothing wrong with most of these younger top QBs running the ball. But I get that you are all about pumping your agenda. Helaire rushed for 800 and Singletary rushed for 700. Helaire is, according to you, been an elite RB and Singletary stinks.

Exactly! Hill and Kelce are elite. So just say that then. Don’t go all...the Chiefs surround Mahomes with the greatest players on offense everywhere. Hill and Kelce are sick! That’s what I said. Are they a better combo than Thomas and Kamara in NO? Adams and Jones in Gb? Zeke and Cooper, Gallup and Lamb?

Firstly, it's WAY expensive to do. Secondly, it's waste of money if you can't even get your drafted players to play.Instead of a billion dollars on high profile prima donnas,I would spend it on  finding the best coaches in the league, but like players, we have a hard time finding those coaches. I remember when one was asked why they had a 5 years plan and they said "because my contract is 5 years" Find a coach who is good enough to re-sign

I heard that we just signed 1 UDFA? Just wondering if the word is out that Howie stinks so don't sign with the Eagles.

Looks like we addressed every position on the Offense. So just have to work on the defense next year......

Unless Hurts stinks up the joint....
