Some times it just happens with players.... Guys get hurt at different times in their careers.   Were the injuries fluke?   Who knows?    The one that stands out to me was Derick Burgess.  He would have been a difference maker here if he stayed healthy.    look at his one year in 2004, we could have used him for all those other years.

  My source said that they wanted to get Rodgers Cap number down with a new deal, but Rodgers does not want one. He wants to be released or traded to a west coast team closer to home. What is not clear is whether or not this has to do with his recent marriage or his conflict with the new GM. It may be a bit of both.....

Yeah, they want to get his cap # down, for the team, I thought part of it was him wanting to help him in the deal as well?

At this point, not sure where he could go?  SF and LA don't seem like options.   To me Denver would seem the ideal place that would look to get him.   Maybe the Raiders? 

Will be interesting,  if I had to guess... he probably stays.

So,got back from the doc. Hit her with 4 different issues. I hope to fix 2 to least lol. I need to sign a big Eagles contract,so I can ride pine and make 1 million. OK 1/2 a mil will still work.I'm not greedy. I can play any spot they want since I will be riding pine anyhow

Raiders said they liked him and he was doing fine,but you know he's not Rodgers lol, so I imagine he would want a starting job someplace,which if he came here would further muck up the QB room

Me either. I don't even remember drafting him. Suffice to say 10 tackles all year from your round 3 pick is another fail in my book. Maybe we actually see him play this year? It doesn't say where the tackles came from
