Over 7 by going from terrible WR coaching / game planning, leapfrogging over competency to actually really good. I think we surprise people.

Like last year lol let’s pump the breaks on SF. And no don’t want to hear about the injury bug we got hit just as hard

But I do think SF beats us just that it will be a close game.

They were ravaged. We got hit bad.

7 wins would be a "win". Looking at 6 realistically IMO, but I will allow that 1 game where we slop out a win despite ourselves(see last years Saints game)

Agreed! And to be honest I'm not sure that I can even see 6 wins but hey we might.

Less wins equals higher draft pick at least with our own pick. Picking in the top 5 hell possibly having multiple picks in top 10(Miami) could be in a great spot.
Especially if we have to go the QB route rather just use our high pick on a guy over having to trade up giving multiple picks to secure someone.

W/L no matter to me really. What I want to see this year is some coherent play calling and execution. If we lose to a better team(which most are lol) I have NP, if we at least look coherent. The real "build" will come next draft, but at least show me some solid foundation to build from. Show me a team that wants to play 60, not the 30,20 or 15. That would be refreshing right there!!!

Agreed 100%.   Wins and losses mean a whole lot more when you are (minimally) on the verge of being competitive (we aren’t there yet).  So in that case, what you included as what you are looking for ... that’s pretty much the same for me.  I want to see a team that appears to be buying in to the new coaching staff and plays hard for them, and look like a team on an upward trajectory showing steady improvement over the course of the season.  I want to see schemes that look like they are going to work here, that play to the strengths of the players rather than trying to make the players fit the scheme.  All I know is, when you basically have zero expectations of wins and losses for a season, it makes it so much more enjoyable to watch.

If you come out the season knowing Hurts is your QB of the future with 7 win that's better than needing a QB and having 9 wins.

Also we finish with 4 division games, 3 at home.  Even if we struggle and lose a lot early we can have some momentum going into the next offseason if we win down the stretch

Sister in law had a 2001 VW beetle diesel with less than 50,000 miles that she was gonna sell for junk. Had it stored in her barn for 10 years. Brought it home from Florida and tomorrow i'll see if it runs.

Wish me luck

Yeah I disagree.   I think you had more fun watching in 2004, when expectations were high.     This Bull$@#t idea of expectations are low so its fun??    Couldn't be farther from the truth.   The high expectations and the pressure each game holds when they are there, is exactly what makes sports fun.

The journey of 2017 was the best part, not just the end.  And it wasn't even close.

OHHH barn find!!! What other goodies does she have stashed there? The guy I bought my Nova from found it in an upstate NY barn(still has 16,714 miles). I recently put the 14 miles on it lol. S/B easy to find parts for your veedub

New England fans must be coming off their most enjoyable season... finally having no expectations to win anything????     I doubt it.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/daesean-hamilton/32004841-4d20-0565-a51e-2028f6290d41    Could be an interesting pick-up for us. BIG slot man from Penn st(homer). Not a bunch of stats either, although they had some nice WR's in Denver to take looks away seems alot of his catches went for 1st downs. Could be a nice "clutch" addition. I wouldn't trade for him,but if he goes out on waivers,I might take a look

Yeah I agree. 2016 wasn't pretty at times but there were positives we could take that year. The team started well and lost a few close games that year. Let's see progress this year back in the right direction.

Of course when you have one of the best teams in the league that is the most fun to watch.  I was referring to the past couple of years when if you had half a brain you knew going into the season that we weren't going to compete for a championship even if the media was touting us - that's rough to watch when you already know you have a team that has been on a downward trend and see no evidence they are going to turn it around.  They needed that purge of Doug and his staff in order to try to turn it around.

Not that it's the bible, but last year before the start of the season , NFLN power rankings had us at #6 🤣🤣☠️. This year 25th,but they may be overly optomistic lol

The Eagles and Cowboys are currently not scheduled to play on "Sunday Night Football" in 2021, marking the first time since 2009 the two teams will not face each other in primetime on the Sunday slate.

While i understand both teams were pretty bad last year they still have some of the largest fan bases in the NFL.

Seems like another foolish decision

They are playing Monday night instead of Sunday night.  Basically the same thing

If you get ESPN. I don't watch enough TV to justify getting satellite

Grandson got a 3 star rating form sports 24/7? I think that's the name anyway

15 minutes later the Baylor O line coach called him.

He's already committed to Tulane

Nate Meadors-DB just signed
