But really I just think Pedey is a pretty positive dude. Can’t really remember him saying anything negative about anybody.

He has called the team out on different occasions but no he never said anything negative about a player specifically

Yeah...no! He knew that he won our first SB. He knew that he should be in charge of his staff not Lurie and Rosie. I think he’s absolutely fine not staying here. He coached Hurts for a year. I’d say he knows a little about him. Siri just got here. They gotta develop a relationship and understanding

We had players here for him, he walked into a much better situation than when he left lol. Why did it degrade after the SB? OK part was Howie, the rest was on Ped and the S&C staff. So IDC if Siri just got here, I'm certain he can read Hurts medical reports, watch the vids, and make his own call. It's not rocket science here. SO to make the assumption Hurts play was bad based on a wittle boo boo is fallacy. If that was a REAL issue, Wentz would have come back in, so sorry NOT buying

I mostly blame Lurie and Rosie for the decline. We had coaches poached. Happens when you’re successful. So younger guys got promotions. So maybe they weren’t the best day one on the job. Who is? But most I think clearly see they were quality coaches. Needed to grow into their positions. Just like how AR was forced to fire McDermott by them. You still believe he wasn’t a worthy DC? Now he’s an excellent HC. So they forced Pedey to fire his OC. Did things improve after that? Them bringing in these Senior assistants..,did that help. Bunch of different voices forced on the situation. The outcome was bad. Not really arguable. The more Lurie and Rosie mettle the worse things become. Back to Pedey’s opinion in Hurts. Does a thumb injury on your throwing hand effect a QB? Seems obviously a detriment. I like that Pedey backed him and brought that up. I don’t think Hurts played bad. It was a bad team. He made some things happen in a tough situation. Thought he really sparked the whole team. Wentz wasn’t coming back in. He lost the team. You have to see that.

I think Pedey walked into a pretty crap situation. But Rosie had two of his best off seasons and helped put things together. I’ll tear him down for the bad. But I also need to congratulate and acknowledge the good.

Buy that is the frustration that is Howie Roseman.   The 2 excellent offseasons were totally off script of their previous methods.    They win... then they go back to the old ways.    Very frustrating.

Almost worse than never winning because then you can just say they never figured it out.  It's worse when you do figure it out, yet refuse to understand it.

Only thing worse to me is Jerry Jones.  He was in Robert Kraft position... just let Jimmy Johnson do his thing and collect your money and rings.    Don't mess up something that works.

The whole 2018 offseason attitude was an issue to me.  Reich was unexpectedly poached because of the d- head McDaniels in New England, ironically he is still just an OC.  Then a statue to the 2 symbols of total luck,  because of a trick play?    Teams have statues of hall of famers , we celebrate the luck of the backup?   Right there it shows a loser mentality.   " look at us we won"  couldn't rush fast enough with banners and signs all of the facility.   Was probably the start of Jenkins being on his way out as he called them out on it.

Just seems like Lurie and Howie have to be smartest guys in the room.  Like kids that have to show off the present their parents bought for them.   Just seems childish and seeking attention.   Jerry Jones on a smaller scale.    Just be like Kraft,  hire the right guys and get out of the way!

Yes and I'm sure siri would recognize that also

Yep 100% That's the whole problem with this organization(because there is no "organization" just 2 ego freaks) A bosses job is to hire the best people under him to make him look good and do less work. SO when you say "my boss doesn't do much" that's why he is the boss because he was smart enough to hire you to do the work, although he should know how to do your job also.

War room footage shows alot of fist bumping. Childish actions really. You know your board, know who you are targeting, and getting them is your job. No need for childish antics for the cameras. Fist bump at the end and say "nice draft everyone-dinner's on me" I suppose they all put on the show for the fans, but IMO very childish and we also saw how that can backfire lol

Well and also... Sure they got their guys and that's great. But with this teams draft record I'm not sure they should be celebrating anything until they know how this draft pans out.

Nope. Don’t see it that way. I saw a bunch of guys that wanted it real bad. Refused to lose. Everybody thought they couldn’t possibly win the whole postseason. But all kinds of random guys bonded together and formed a unity that was greater than any individual.

And alot of luck along the way. The tipped kick in Chicago, the rare Brady strip sack, Foles call for the Philly Special(what if Ped didn't agree to do it?) Although what you say is true, alot of planets aligned for us

It's always better to be licky than good.

That year the Eagles were both

I would rather be consistently good and not rely on luck

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/chicago-bears/artie-burns-18973/market-value/  I would take a shot. This guy was a former round 1 pick. He should be good for sumtin

NM he re-signed with the Bears Friday for under a mil(why can't we get these guys?(sigh)

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/pittsburgh-steelers/cameron-sutton-21836/cash-earnings/  OK get me this guy then lol Estimate shows his value at 7+ mil a year, but he never made that much,so IDK how they come up with that, but he is young yet(26) and has played 100% of the snaps. Anyone helps us at this point, but we're gonna have to shell out a little green

Look at the Pats. They played in the weakest division in the NFL for years.  Pretty much guaranteed 6 wins. Then they pick Brady in the 6th round.

I call that lucky.

Not sure if I like the move or not but we signed Ryan Kerrigan

I’d also be curious as to where he plays on the line or in that rush Lb position we seem to want along with Avery/Turner

Mike Kaye on Twitter: "Former Washington pass rusher Ryan Kerrigan is signing with the #Eagles, per his Instagram. Interesting Chris Long-Michael Bennett-like signing and might further hint at a hybrid scheme." / Twitter

I would think we will be going with a hybrid front, which makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is paying Derek Barnett $10 million this year. I would be shocked if he wasn't traded or if the team didn't restructure his contract.

Another odd thing is that we are spending money on pass rush instead of on a corner. I would have put CB and TE at much bigger needs than DE.

Just signed Kerrigan at DE
