Let's remember this also. We keep talking Hurts. If he can't cut it, Flaaco is no slouch and he WILL get the ball out if that seems to be an issue

Hurts is the presumed starter if we have to turn to Flacco at any point during the year(because of performance play) would definitely indicate we need a QB in 22. And maybe a lot more

Honestly if we are losing and really bad(like eliminated from playoffs nothing but draft position to play for)I’d turn to Newman or Tate whichever young QB before Flacco. Might as well see what those guys have at that point if Hurts isn’t cutting it and prepare for 2022.

I'm sure he will be given every opportunity, but lets not wait until week 12. If the teams issue is not getting the ball out put Flaaco(Falco) in. Although IDC what the w/l is,I would like to see some coherent QB play

Disagree. If you want the WR's to learn they will need a coherent QB,not a rook missing the throws. They won't learn anything doing that

I DO agree if Hurts is pulled we are looking at a QB in round 1 next year

well if Hurts is really bad we'll certainly have a really high pick

I'm wondering if Hurts sucks,if the fans at the Linc start chanting FALCO, FALCO HAHAHA

Picked up Casey Tucker OT we are busy today!!!

You do know Flacco didn’t play much better then Hurts right... also I’d say does more for a WR playing with poor QBs if they are putting up stats with bad QB play image what they will do with an actual good QB.

If he didn't play better than Hurts why was he the Ravens QB for so long? If a rook can't complete that passes the WR's learn nothing and put up no stats. Great way to ruin some top draftees

Only talking last year that what matter what have you done lately right.

Who here is confident this team will be free of injuries this year? Based on past history, we can expect to have many to deal with. So, I guess the question is- Who can we least afford to lose? I get that most feel we can compete for this division, as we are fans and should expect as much. I am more of a realist. I see what has happened the past few years and expect this to continue until I see proof we are moving in a positive direction. Other than Slay, we have no proven CB's. LB's are weak. Safeties are unproven. D-Line should be solid if they remain healthy. O-Line I expect more of the same we have had the past few years. Question is who remains healthy? Can Sanders play the whole year. What will we get from our WR group? Ertz is probably gone so our TE group is weak.

Injuries are a question mark every year.  I think the key injury would be Cox.   He goes and that hurts the whole D.   Graham would have been my other one, but the great Kerrigan is here now.   The rest are guys who I want to see play, but wouldn't be disaster to me if they got hurt.   Maybe Goedert if it leads to them hesitating to resign him?  Idk.

I don't expect them to compete for the division.  6 to 9 wins is my range, it's big,but it's because of so many unknowns.  I expect a couple teams in our division to win double digit games.  The Giants wouldn't surprise me if they got lucky and won 12.   But if I had to predict the division.

Giants 11 wins, Washington 10, Dallas 9 and the Eagles 7 or 8.   I do believe that the other teams had better offseasons for winning now. But they had more to start with so it was easier building around it.   The Eagles needed more of a foundation building offseason, and it looks like they might have done that.

Flacco played 4 games last year

55% 864 yards 6 tds 3 ints

Hurts in 4 games

52% 1061 yards 6tds 4 ints

Then we need to fire them both and you are comparing a successful QB(like Wentz) to a rook with barely any records. The fact is Flacco has experience and we only have ?'s about Hurts. He could be better or worse. We shall see

I guess we're gonna find out if that's true with Wentz in Indy eh?

Not sure how Wentz got added to this never mentioned him. Only care about the QB we have now on roster. Point being if we are down  in the dumps with no chance at playoffs and Hurts has been terrible I’d rather see a rookie QB like Newman finish out the year then Flacco.

Now if Hurts is terrible first game or two and we want to make a change then Flacco is my call it all depends on situations.

Not sure were Wentz came from but every been saying he is terrible based solely on his last years play. He has as much to prove as Hurts this year

I mean... I hope we don't see!

Welp if you "only as good as your last year" then Indy sure screwed the pooch lol

If your QB is bad and your BU is no better what is the difference?:

Why would I turn to Flacco who else do we have lmao

Then if they are both terrible and we are knocked out I turn to Newman give him some looks

You said you'd rather play Newman,so play him then

If he is no better just leave Hurts in
