There was evidence the Committee showed where Pence’s Secret Service agents were described as "not sounding good.”  A source who the Committee let remain anonymous said that meant they feared for their lives.  It might be interesting to see some of their texts at the time.

support the blue .... unless it's a coup !!!

Meh, F her.  But she's right and I said that well over a year ago.

It’s impressive how calm her demeanor is when she’s torching Trump. She basically shows no emotion at all.

But have you seen the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop?

Is it even plausible that something they'll show will disqualify him for 2024?

And here come the memes...

"The election is over."

"I don't want to say the election is over, ok"

My only goal was to insure the integrity of the vote? You can't be serious.

The Best is when he slams the lectern in frustration. Definitely can see him throw a plate of ketchup. LOL.

What are the odds, there will be an emergency hearing before September?

Is this about Hawley or Barney Frank?

What's already has been shown has been enough.

But Trump voters live in an alternate reality and have no bottom when it comes to Trump's behavior. They'd be apoplectic if a Democratic president did a tenth of what Trump's proven to have done, but with Trump they just don't care about his behavior - they're numb to it. Their rationalizations are endless.

Would that even matter if he was disqualified?

The only way tp formally disqualify him was through the impeachment, if they added that he could never hold office again (separate vote in the Senate). I guess someone could go to court saying he is disqualified under the 14th amendment for "engaging in insurrection or rebellion" (same thing they tried with MTG, among others), but doubt that works.

Even being in jail wouldn't technically disqualify him. You'd hope the GOP would refuse to nominate him, but...

There really hasn’t been a shift in conservative talk radio at all. It’s still "Trump good, Biden bad.”  I don’t hear any other Republicans discussed.

"Well, to be completely honest, to give you the first thoughts that popped into my mind — Josh Hawley is a b!tch. And he ran like a b!tch," Fanone said when asked about the Hawley clip.

Fanone told Politico that there was an "eruption" of laughter after the video clip of Hawley fleeing was played.

I don’t think that’s the issue. It’s that the AG has no interest in prosecuting him

Just a point of clarification you might want to consider, or maybe you will just brush it off, up to you.

Many in here conflate people who supported Trump based on his policies/(vs the opposition), with Those who bliindly follow Trump.  (There are the blind followers to be sure, just not sure what % they are, if I had to guess, it's a minority number) Discounting the former or mistaking the former for the latter overlooks that for those in the former category, Trump is not the goal, Trump can go away, and they still want to VOTE for the same type of nationalist/populist policies.

And the mistake being made, is that you can remove Trump, but it becomes the next man up.

So when you say Trump Voters, to be sure there are a % who will support him to no end, but dont overlook the % that just wants someone to represent them instead of the elites. Something Trump ran on effectively.  My perspective is those former are a larger % over the blind Trump supporters.

Now go ahead and call me a Trumpbot or Trumplican.  Carry on.

It sounded like from what Liz Cheney was saying last night that they are going to make a recommendation that he be disqualified from future service in their final report.  But I tend to agree that it sounds like the Department of Justice isn’t going to act.  And he’s not going to be disqualified by Congress.

Point?

No, but everyone else also didn't:

(i) start the whole drama by being the 1st Senator to agree to challenge results (leading to others like Cruz joining in) in a desperate attempt to raise his national profile and please his orange overlord; and

(ii) encourage the mob by throwing up a closed fist salute
