When Hillary lost Dems put on pink V hats and marched around DC.  When Trump lost Republicans put on body armor and attacked the Capitol.  We’re supposed to think the folks with the V hats are the triggered ones though

I guess all the people tearing up the major cities of the country during the summer of 2020 were Republicans, right?  My what selective memories you have.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said January 6 was 'interference with the lawful transfer of power using violence' — the definition of an insurrection — but refrains from using the word

Of course he can't use the word. What would Tucker and Trump say?

I'm glad you finally saw the light with regard to the Democratic party.  It took you a while to realize how much they are undermining America.  Imagine, the Speaker of the House suggesting that insider trading is ok for Congressional leaders.

The idea that anyone who follows politics thinks that their side doesn't do the exact same thing is F'n laughable. You should be embarrassed by this post.

Why - because you don't agree with it?

All politicians do insider trading. It's why they suck. Outrage about politicians monetizing their positions is even more laughable coming from a Trump supporter

Outrage about the friggin' SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE having this response.  You lefties having no defense - so Trump is your fallback position.  Shows your weakness.

I guess if you add one of these

Pelosi didn't say members of Congress should be allowed to do insider trading - she said they should be allowed to own stocks.

Pro-tip:  Most rich people own stocks, it's part of the reason they're rich (not that I would know.  LMAO)

Trump is currently under investigation for diverting campaign contributions and inaugural funds into his private business...and you voted for him...twice. I've never voted for Pelosi.

The dude who bootlicks dems all day getting butthurt that someone didn't "both sides" Pelosi's obvious insider trading is entertaining.

The honest answer would be that as a rule of thumb, most politicians are sleaze.  You can't honestly defend Pelosi as not being a scumbag and do so with a straight face.  And that's independent of any feelings you have about Trump.

Republicans are worried about political corruption

They couldn't even get Richard Burr for insider trading - and he dumped a bunch of stock in January 2020 after being briefed on the pandemic.

Pelosi sucks. Before Trump she was the politician I hated most in DC. However, she is in favor of holding elections and letting people vote for the country's leaders, which now puts her squarely ahead of 99% of republicans.

Fixed that for you

Fixed that for you.  Couldn't and didn't are two different things

And now you breathlessly defend her and anyone else with a D next to her name all day, bootlicker.

I know, I know, but drumfph.

I really don't care if politicians own stock - especially if it's companies in their district / state.  I have no problem with it actually.  Insider trading is illegal, but good luck catching anyone in Congress.

Jim Comey says in his book the only reason they prosecuted Martha Stewart was because she lied about it instead of claiming ignorance.  Always play dumb when you get in trouble - it worked like a charm for Reagan during Iran Contra.

Exactly. Your kind must defeated and swept into the ash bin of history. Pelosi and the liberals are useful to that end.

That's because, amazingly enough...insider trading isn't illegal for members of Congress.

More specifically, they can trade off things they know about legislation/regulation/etc. It's insane.

they live by different rules, all of them.

Anyone who's butthurt about politicians owning stocks is focused on the wrong thing.

JMHO of course
