Of course it does.

It certainly seems so.

This would be the silver bullet, if they have it. Show that, and people are going to jail (or they should).

The Jan. 6 Committee kicked off a string of hearings Thursday night with an intense focus on the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, two right-wing extremist groups that the committee appears prepared to tie to the official Trump effort to overturn the election.

Committee Chair Bennie Thompson (D-MS) told CNN after the hearing that the body would call witnesses that can describe conversations between the groups and people in Trump’s orbit.

"Obviously, you’ll have to go through the hearings, but we have a number of witnesses who have come forward that people have not talked to before, that will document a lot was going on in the Trump orbit while all of this was occurring,” Thompson said.

If they can prove that people close to Trump were talking to the PB or OK, then...game over. There will be indictments.

While I'd think no one could be stupid enough to leave an evidentiary trail of such things, the PBs did invite a documentary filmmaker to document them attempting to stop the certification process...

There are plenty in the Trump camp way less savvy. Trump was sure he was above the law, and acted it. So did many of his lackeys.

No, but we knew what Trump thought about Pence and his actions on the day and he did absolutely nothing to protect Pence which we also knew.  I didn't find the statement particularly revealing.  I already understood that Trump felt Pence was a traitor on Jan 6th.  Maybe others see it differently as you do.

Agree

Good for Rivera, but not sure some of the players will be able to brush this off as easily

Well now, the Both Sider and the Wokologist agree on something.  The journey always begins with the first step.

Accurate

Pretty funny to see how tone deaf some of these coaches are. Like how stupid do you have to be to not understand how those comments are gonna be perceived by some of your players?

No word yet on how much jail time the committee is recommending.

Something tells me Del Rio does not, in fact, "understand the difference between the events on that dark day..." and anything.  Check out his twitter.  He's all about Dinesh D'souza

Anybody who call January 6th a "dust-up” is a Kz-level moron, but I’ll still check his twitter for some laughs.

Truth be told, in our lifetimes, we never saw inflation like this under ANY administration.  Boy, you're really obsessed with Trump.
