She might have gotten a few details wrong, but I doubt she committed perjury.  And she’s a Republican.  If you listened to her testimony it was apparent that she supported Trump and his policies.  (Which she also said under oath btw)

Amazing it may have taken the courage of a 25 year old woman to get a bunch of career Republicans to man up and put country over party. Or country over Trump.

They better come up with something. Trump leading Biden in polling is only going to embolden him for the rematch.

Cheney is going to need something on her resume out of this to score a job after politics.

I'm not about to debate Benghazi vs. January 6th...but to suggest that these types of hearings are anything but political theater is ridiculous.  You and most of the others in here made their mind up about this topic on January 7th.  Just because this hearing validates your opinions does not make it objective.

Yup. That was right after we watched it all happen on live TV lol.

I like the implication that it took a day for us to decide (after watching the media report on it) that January 6th was a bad thing.  Lmao

Never forget that 8 months of riots is not the same as storming the Capitol to stop the certification of an Election and to murder Pence and Pelosi because Trump told them to go.

He told them to go home

Yeah, 3 hours later.

I hope you are right, but I don't believe you are unfortunately. I'm not even convinced there will be primaries, as Trump people control the state parties (who control the primaries). Pretty much any other Republican would cruise to victory in 2024, but Trump could very easily lose to Biden.

Trump is up 40 points over Desantis in early polls. He’s up 3 on Biden and 6 on Harris.

Better late than never and three hours sooner than anyone tried to break up any of those other riots.

If they think they've found it there will be court precedings. If not all we'll have is this made for tv circle jerk.

Indictments will happen soon after Congress refers the matter to the Dept. Of Justice.

It will be no sooner than they can make sure there will be no conclusion prior to the 2024 election season.

Which won't include Trump if he's charged with Rebellion or Insurrection.

18 U.S. Code § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection

https://news.yahoo.com/watergate-prosecutor-says-slapping-trump-052858860.html

prev | next

Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Watergate prosecutor says slapping Trump with a charge of rebellion or insurrection could prevent him from ever holding office again

They'd have to convict him.

Imagine if they swing and miss. That's why they'll time it. In court there is cross examination and a transfer of evidence.

I guess Trump will buy the best witnesses to defend him because, I don't believe they exist.

Yeah, by Trump saying, I never said that, after the video showing him he said go to the Capitol. Strong defense.

LOL.

That's a lot of words to basically say, "I prefer to remain in my own information bubble."

Just because I think MAGA is a bunch of loons doesn't mean I don't spend hours each week listening to conservative talk radio down here in Texas. The worst mistake you can make is to willingly choose to not listen to opposing viewpoints.

That's actually not what it says at all.  I've carefully selected multiple news sources that don't pollute my feed with a bunch of opinion and nonsense.  Just because I'm not watching re-runs of the January 6th commission (or paying much attention to it at all) means nothing about my consumption of news.  Not sure why you make that distinction.
