Looks like the bloom is off McPhearson.  He was beat pretty badly there.

Lmao at you guys writing off a 4th round rookie in his second ever preseason game. Y’all need to get your heads straight. The 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason. It means less than nothing. The only important thing is no major injuries.

I said the bloom was off him, not that he sucked.  Only reason I brought it up at all, actually, is that he was getting a lot of praise in camp.

We all know the preseason is irrelevant, but context also matters.  Not every loss is created equal, and losing that badly is quite an indictment on a team's depth.  It doesn't look like we have NFL players beyond our top 40 guys or so, and that's definitely going to matter.

I know it's preseason but a Goose Egg?  Come on guys.

Break out the booze. Gonna be a long year.

Most of the starters didn’t even play. Let’s not over exaggerate this game.

Sirianni is in way over his head as a coach !! Shorten the practices to less than an hour going forward !!!

you went against the goat tonight and need to learn from him if possible !!

Good lord that was ugly, well I did it to myself with the optimism, gonna be tough putting down 1 point for the win on the Eagles in Pick 'Em all year but damn that really was ugly.

Mullens doesn't belong in the NFL,be better off just signing a guy off the street if Flacco goes down or playing Ward.

God it was ugly.

I mean look the score isn't great but let's not get carried away. Most of the starters didn't play last night. In joint practices the Eagles first team looked very good against the Pats and that's what counts.

Most of the Patriots starters didn't play much either, and a goose egg is a goose egg. If any of the major starting pieces go down this team is screwed.

Flacco looked old and tired, Mullens looked like Clayton Thorson. Our rush defense was godawful and our pass defense made everyone the Pats put under Center look too good for us.

Preseason is preseason but some of those guys are fighting to make the 53 and that's the best they can do? Jeeeeesus.

Guess Hurts had some kind of stomach virus that sent him to the hospital. That performance overall was pretty sickening, but it is still preseason. I would’ve been nice to see someone other than Singleton step up tonight.

Ok so we know that we lack depth at most positions. But I think we knew that anyway to be honest. Perhaps we thought that we had a little more depth than we do but we knew this team is not the most talented overall.

Mullins needs to go, he's showed absolutely nothing so far. Flacco not much better!

3 sack, 1 INT, RTG 16.7

Not sure if it was the personnel or the system but the run defence looked horrible.

IT was ugly, when Eagles second team was going against Patriots first. Cam had all day, to pick and choose. But I am not worried. Our healthy starters were on the sideline all day. I am sure that the real season games will be quite different.

I’m not worried over this game, but I do still have concerns about the overall durability of this team. If the Eagles need to play their backups for an extended amount of time it could get ugly.

It’s preseason. It’s preseason. But my god I can’t for the life of me like Sirianni

Preseason or not, no one could be happy with what they saw from a bunch of players on an individual level and it was pretty ugly.  Last night, I saw the makings of a 4 or 5 win team ....the 4 or 5 wins that I expected all along.  There is no sense on getting hung up on it.  We all know that we are in a season long battle for the #1 pick overall in the draft.  Enjoy the ride.  Enjoy the alcohol.  Enjoy some weed and chips, too.

Edit: The best thing about last night was that we got a new name   "Squirts for Hurts" are the new "Wentz Washers."

I still have no idea why people pay money to go to these games.  I remember when they were free.

I blame the refs!

For a while the ticket prices used to be the same as a regular season game, and season ticket holders were forced to buy them.

odds the preseason for the eagles will mirror the reg season, I bet it'll  be very similar, heller

We'll be fine. I believe the year we won the SB we were not good in Preseason either. Yesterday game was just to weed out the garbage. We will be fine game one. We'll probably start the season 3-0 at least.

Season Ticket Holders have to pay for those meaningless games.

Then I guess you missed Alex Singleton on the field. Because he was the only one doing anything worth watching.
